Dr. Francis Lau is a professor in the School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria. He studies information technology and its use in the health care sector, specifically primary care facilities such as clinics and doctor #39;s offices. In this video, he discusses how his research facilitates better tested, more efficient health information systems to be implemented in the health care sector to help doctors, nurses and other health care professionals keep track of things such as health records and patient information virtually.
