A taxpayer and mother finds little to laugh about when her US Congressional Representative, Ann Marie Buerkle, makes a joke about Women #39;s Rights. Buerkle has refused to vote for a law that would give all women working in America the same opportunity Buerkle has as a Congresswoman, to be paid an equal wage to men doing the same work. Buerkle has also insisted that employers should be able to deny women health insurance coverage for contraception and other medical conditions and procedures. This would put the employer between the patient and her health care provider, deciding what healthcare a woman might receive. The mother points out that the ability to plan the size of a family and timing of children is key to women #39;s economic health.
