Titeflex Aerospace Awarded Contract by Boeing for AS1975 Hoses for the 777 Airplane

LACONIA, NH–(Marketwired – Jun 3, 2013) – Boeing has awarded two contracts to Titeflex Aerospace, manufacturer of fluid transfer hoses and assemblies, to supply AS1975 and AS4570 flex-rigid assemblies for its 777 platform. The Titeflex hybrid assembly combines flex hose with multi-bend tube, which offers improved vibration dampening, ease of installation and maintenance. Constructed of extruded smoothbore conductive PTFE innercore and reinforced with Kevlar para-aramid braid, the lightweight 3,000 psi non-metallic aerospace hose assembly is qualified to AS1975.
