Lauri Petersons son Josh Waring died on March 31. He was 35.

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 63, announced his death on April 6 on Instagram, writing, It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday.

PEOPLE reached out to Peterson for comment, but she did not immediately respond.

Alongside photos of Waring throughout the years from childhood pictures to shots of him with his daughter, Kennady Peterson also included a heartfelt message about his life and death.

"No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss, she wrote, adding that every fiber in my body hurts.

The former RHOC star went on to say that Waring fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.

Joshs childhood was filled with deep intellect, humor, pranks, athletics, snow boarding, body boarding mountain hikes, reading, friends and his love for music, she wrote. Even during adult hardship, Josh continued to maintain his sense of humor, continued to be optimistic, continued to be kind to others, defended those that were unable to defend themselves and continued to love his family so so much!

Reflecting on his years as a father, she wrote that he received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years, and thanked those who have tried to help Josh along the way.

I am witness to many Angels on earth. Not everyone understands those suffering from substance abuse disorder, but I am forever grateful for your understanding and the impact you made on his life, she continued. In recent years, Waring made headlines for his legal troubles, pleading guilty to a 2022 drug charge after he was found in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine, the Los Angeles Times reported at the time. He was sentenced to two years in prison.

Waring also spent four years in prison for attempted murder after shooting a man named Daniel Lopez outside of a sober living home in 2016. Lopez survived the shooting.

Peterson spoke out about her sons legal troubles on social media in 2018, alleging he had been set up by police.

Real Housewives star Lauri Peterson announces heartbreaking death of her son, 35 – HELLO!

Lauri Peterson, a former Real Housewives of Orange County star, has announced thetragic death of her son Josh, who died on March 31 at the age of 35. Lauri shared the news on Instagram alongside a series of beautiful pictures of Josh throughout his life, and with his daughter Kennady, whom Lauri adopted due to his drug addiction.

In the post, Lauri thanked those who had made an impact on Josh's life and supported Lauri through this journey.

"It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday. No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss," she wrote.

"Every fiber in my body hurts. Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great."

Lauri continued: "Not everyone understands those suffering from substance abuse disorder, but I am forever grateful for your understanding and the impact you made on his life. I also thank those who have supported me through this journey and offering kind words of encouragement by sharing their stories of living with substance abuse disorder and the many parents that have shared their stories over the years with me about the children they have sadly lost due to this illness."

Lauri shared that Josh "received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years," and wrote that she prayed that he had now "found the peace you deserve".

Kennady is now in the fifth grade, and lives with Lauri and her husband George, whom she married in 2007.

Over the years, Josh had been in the headlines for various legal troubles, including most recent in 2022 when he was found in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison.

He had spent four years in prison for attempted murder after shooting a man named Daniel Lopez outside of a sober living home in 2016. Daniel survived the attack.

Lauri always insisted that Josh had been set up by police. In 2018 she wrote on social media: "After keeping silent for nearly 2 years in regards to my son's arrest, I am going to begin laying out the facts of his case and how easily it is to be falsely accused!"

Lauri quit the Real Housewivesfranchise in 2008 after Josh, who had struggled with a heroin addiction, relapsed and was sentenced to eight months in jail.

Just moments ago, Lauri took to her Instagram page to announce that Josh died on Easter Sunday.

It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday, shared Lauri on April 6.

She continued, No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts. Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.

Lauri then went on to describe the kind of person Josh was.

Even during adult hardship, Josh continued to maintain his sense of humor, continued to be optimistic, continued to be kind to others, defended those that were unable to defend themselves and continued to love his family so so much! He received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years, she wrote.

Lauri also shed some light on substance abuse issues, something Josh struggled with throughout his adult life in addition to his run-ins with the law, as she thanked those who tried to help him over the years.

Lastly, she shared some sweet words for her son.

Victim’s brother arrested in connection with deadly shooting – WCVB Boston

State and federal law enforcement in Maine on Tuesday announced the arrest of a Massachusetts man who was wanted in connection with the shooting that killed his brother in Brockton on Easter morning. Jeremiah Abreu, 20, of Brockton, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. after leaving a home in Lewiston, Maine, according to the office of Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz. The arrest warrant for a charge of murder was executed by members of the U.S. Marshals Service and Maine State Police.The Lewiston Police Department said Abreu was taken into custody following a coordinated traffic stop. Abreu was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail, where he will await extradition.Abreu's brother, Sedrick Abreu, 27, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest inside a home at 36 Hoover Ave. in Brockton at 2:17 a.m. on Sunday. He was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of his injuries.Two other suspects, Sirick Amado, 24, and Antonio Dejesus, 26, were already arrested and charged with accessory to homicide. Amado and Dejesus were arraigned Monday in Brockton District Court.During the arraignment, prosecutors said surveillance video shows Amado give a gun to Jeremiah Abreu before Abreu went inside the Hoover Avenue home."At that time is when officers believe that Mr. Abreu shot and killed his brother," Assistant District Attorney Kristina Zanini said in court.Prosecutors also said surveillance video shows Abreu exit the home and give the gun to Dejesus, who then placed an item in the back of an SUV. Travis didnt mention going on the getaway with Taylor, 34, though the couple was photographed soaking up the sun during a beach outing in late March. Their trip was revealed when photographs circulated of the couple packing on the PDA as they spent time in Bahamas Harbour Island at the end of March.

Neither the professional athlete nor Cruel Summer singer have shared much insight into the trip, though a source exclusively told Life & Style that the pair wanted to get away while her Eras tour is on hiatus.. They wanted a break from their busy schedules to be alone and enjoy the sun, water and sand, the insider explained.

The couple who confirmed their romance in September 2023 spent quality time together while staying in a suite that cost $975 per night. Their intent was to get away from the spotlight that follows them wherever they go, the source shared.

Taylor loves the Bahamas for the pristine beaches, climate, cuisine and privacy, of course, the insider explained. She knows shell be treated with the utmost respect by the locals, who are used to catering to celebrity clientele.

While Travis didnt share any specific details about their vacation, the Ohio native recently hinted that their relationship is in a good place. Following their trip to the Bahamas, Travis and Taylor reportedly went to Pennsylvania to celebrate Easter with his brother, Jason Kelce, and his family. The trip marked the first time that Taylor met Jason, 26, and wife Kylie Kelces three daughters, according to Daily Mail.

The number of tourist arrivals to Macau during a four-day period encompassing the Ching Ming Festival, stood at above 425,428, according to data released by the citys Public Security Police. The local authorities did not provide any year-on-year comparison.

On the day of the Ching Ming Festival this year April 4 Macau recorded a total of 136,363 visitor arrivals. In Macau, mainland China, and Hong Kong, that day also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in English is a public holiday. The timing for it is calculated under the lunar calendar.

The mainland takes some additional days as public holiday during the period. There, the authorities had designated this years Ching Ming holiday period as running from April 4 (a Thursday) to April 6 (a Saturday) inclusive.

During the four days from April 4 to April 7 inclusive, Macau received an average of 106,357 visitors per day.

That was slightly above the daily average of 100,000 visitor arrivals observed during the four-day Easter period, from Friday (March 29) to Monday (April 1) inclusive. The aggregate of Macau arrivals for the March 29 to April 1 period inclusive was 406,329.

Regionally, Easter Monday is only a public holiday in Hong Kong, while Easter Friday is a holiday in Hong Kong and Macau. The Easter season is not a break period on the Chinese mainland.
