Cell Project for Biology II -- Katie, Levi, Tera, Mark, and Adam, 1997-1998
One of the best classes I had in high school was Biology II with Ed Erwin. It was a great class partially because we learned a lot, partially because we had a lot of freedom, and probably mostly because all of us who took it that year were friends. Here is one of our projects, creating a model of a cell using food products; explaining diffusion of molecules; and singing songs about the various phases of cell division -- with original lyrics and harmony! One of the things I love about this, besides our ridiculous clothes and hair, is that we wouldn #39;t play any of the curse words on Sublime #39;s "What I Got." So if it seems like the tape screws up right around where the F-word should be, and where the song says, "I don #39;t get angry when my Mom smokes pot," it #39;s not a tape malfunction.
