ecosystem – giraffeology

every ecosystem has carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores.Herbivores eat only plants these animals in the giraffes ecosystem are elephants, zebras, and gazelles. Carnivores eat meat only such as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas. The spotted hyena is also an omnivore which is an animal that eats both plants and meat. Also some decomposers (which break down remains of other organisms.) are in the giraffes ecosystem, they are in the ground because they are fungi, bacteria, and termites. Now if you have decomposers you got to have producers (which produce their own food.)like flowers, seeds, and wild apricot trees. Along with all these living or biotic things there are abiotic things like water, the sky, or even soil.

The main predator of giraffes is the lion. other predators include wild dogs, hyenas, leopards, and sadly humans who hunt them for their skin.

now the giraffe has no prey do to the fact that it's a herbivore which is an animal that only eats plants.

currently there are less than 80,000 giraffes left
