Dr Stone, a very popular Japanese manga series, published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Dr Stone Season 2 is written by Riichiro Inagaki under the genre fantasy, post-apocalyptic.

This anime has also been adapted into 24 episode anime series. The first season ended with an unexpected twist, and fans are now waiting eagerly for the second season. The production house is really happy as to how the audience has accepted the first season and is now trying to give more scientific knowledge to the fans in Dr Stone season 2.

The story of Dr Stone Season 2 follows Taiju Oki, Senku Ishigami, and Yuruziha Ogawa. When Taiju tries to propose to Yuruziha, and a flash of green light appears. The story is set 3700 years after the flash on green light petrifies all of humanity and after Senku and Taiju wake up 6 months apart.

Dr Stone Season 2 has been confirmed. The studio and team have already announced that the second season is in work and that it will follow a new story arc called Stone Wars. This story will be focused on Senkus scientific journey to save civilization with his friend.

Although the official date of the series has not been officially announced, a lot of speculations have been made that it might return in July this year.

Dr Stone has been listed in Top 25 Best Anime of the 2010s, in November 2019. IGN, too, listed Dr Stone among the best animes and was the 8th most-watched anime series on Netflix.
