Brian Stainken, MD, FSIR, FCIRSE is the past President of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and Chair of Radiology at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He currently serves as the Chairman of SIR #39;s International Task Force and has long been active in globaI IR advocacy. Dr. Stainken is a graduate of Georgetown University Medical School and completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at UCLA.
