We will be visited by a small asteroid on June 27th at 09:30 EDT (13:30 UT).  The asteroid between five and 20 meters in diameter will pass just 7,500 miles from the Earth!!  This is close enough for the asteroid to be seen with a modest-sized telescope during the day.
