Role Description

Cranfield is a world-renowned, exclusively postgraduate University specialising in Creating Leaders in Technology and Management and we are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Accounting Team supporting the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing.

The post holder is to provide financial analysis, accounting and general office support within the embedded School Finance Team. The accounting duties undertaken need to be completed accurately, timely and successfully, with the post holder taking the responsibility of meeting strict deadlines on a regular basis and liaising with staff within the Centres as well as external customers and suppliers and the Finance PSU staff.

To be successful in the post you will need to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively and in particular with regard to conveying numerical information to non-financial managers. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential as is the ability to work independently managing your own workload to meet set deadlines.

You will have an AAT qualification (or working towards) and previous experience of working within the Finance department of a large complex organisation, preferably in a Higher Education institution.
