Superintelligence – Nick Bostrom – Oxford University Press

Superintelligence Paths, Dangers, Strategies Nick Bostrom Reviews and Awards

"I highly recommend this book" --Bill Gates

"Nick Bostrom makes a persuasive case that the future impact of AI is perhaps the most important issue the human race has ever faced. Instead of passively drifting, we need to steer a course. Superintelligence charts the submerged rocks of the future with unprecedented detail. It marks the beginning of a new era." --Stuart Russell, Professor of Computer Science, University of California, Berkley

"Those disposed to dismiss an 'AI takeover' as science fiction may think again after reading this original and well-argued book." --Martin Rees, Past President, Royal Society

"This superb analysis by one of the world's clearest thinkers tackles one of humanity's greatest challenges: if future superhuman artificial intelligence becomes the biggest event in human history, then how can we ensure that it doesn't become the last?" --Professor Max Tegmark, MIT

"Terribly important ... groundbreaking... extraordinary sagacity and clarity, enabling him to combine his wide-ranging knowledge over an impressively broad spectrum of disciplines - engineering, natural sciences, medicine, social sciences and philosophy - into a comprehensible whole... If this book gets the reception that it deserves, it may turn out the most important alarm bell since Rachel Carson's Silent Spring from 1962, or ever." --Olle Haggstrom, Professor of Mathematical Statistics

"Valuable. The implications of introducing a second intelligent species onto Earth are far-reaching enough to deserve hard thinking" --The Economist

"There is no doubting the force of [Bostrom's] arguments...the problem is a research challenge worthy of the next generation's best mathematical talent. Human civilisation is at stake." --Clive Cookson, Financial Times

"Worth reading.... We need to be super careful with AI. Potentially more dangerous than nukes" --Elon Musk, Founder of SpaceX and Tesla

"Every intelligent person should read it." --Nils Nilsson, Artificial Intelligence Pioneer, Stanford University

NOTICE OF PUBLIC RELEASE: A new version of WAVEWATCH III version 5.16 has been released. Details about the model and how to obtain the code can be found here.

NOTICE: We have resumed updates to the WAVEWATCH III Hindcast reanalysis, with data up through December 2016. Important Note: The data from Aug 2015 and onwards is being generated with WW3 version 5.08 using the ST4 physics package. The hindcast datasets are available from the MMAB FTP server at ftp://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/history/waves

The operational ocean wave predictions of NOAA/NWS/NCEP use the wave model WAVEWATCH III using operational NCEP products as input.

Detailed description of the WAVEWATCH III model and source code distribution.

The model is run four times a day: 00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z. Each run starts with 9-, 6- and 3-hour hindcasts and produces forecasts of every 3 hours from the initial time out to 180 hours (84 hours for the Great Lakes).

The wave model suite consists of global and regional nested grids. As background information, a list of selected references and a chronological list of model changes are available. Finally, validation data are available for the multi-scale model.

To generate a wave climatology, a simulation of the 30-year period of 1979-2009 has been run with the NOAA WAVEWATCH III using the Tolman-Chalikov physics package with 16 regular lat-lon grids and the new NCEP Climate Forecast System Reanalysis and Reforecast (CFSRR) homogeneous data set of hourly 1/2 spatial resolution winds.

Goa trance – Wikipedia

Goa trance is an electronic music style that originated during the late 1980s in Goa, India.[1][2] Goa trance has often funky drone-like bass-lines, compared to techno minimalism of 21st century psytrance.[3]

Psychedelic trance music and culture (psyculture) is explored as a culture of exodus rooted in the seasonal dance party culture evolving in Goa, India, over the 1970s/1980s, and revealing a heterogeneous exile sensibility shaping Goa trance and psyculture[clarification needed] from the 1990s/2000s. That is, diverse transgressive and transcendent expatriations[clarification needed] would shape the music and aesthetics of Goa/psytrance. Thus, resisting circumscription[clarification needed] under singular heuristic formulas[clarification needed], Goa trance and its progeny are shown to be internally diverse. This freak mosaic was seasoned by expatriates and bohemians in exile from many countries, experienced in world cosmopolitan conurbations[clarification needed], with the seasonal DJ-led trance dance culture of Goa absorbing innovations in EDM productions, performance and aesthetics throughout the 1980s before the Goa sound and subsequent festival culture emerged in the mid-1990s. Rooted in an experimental freak community host to the conscious realisation and ecstatic abandonment of the self, psyculture is heir to this diverse exile experience.[4]

The music has its roots in the popularity of Goa in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a hippie capital, and although musical developments were incorporating elements of industrial music and EBM (electronic body music) with the spiritual culture in India throughout the 1980s, the actual Goa trance style did not appear until the early 1990s.[1][5]

The music played was a blend of styles loosely defined as techno and various genres of computer music (e.g., high energy disco without vocals, acid house, electro, industrial gothic, various styles of house, electronic rock hybrids). The music arrived on tape cassettes by fanatic traveler collectors and DJs. It was shared (copied) tape to tape among Goa DJs, which was an underground scene, not driven by labels or music industry.[citation needed]

The artists producing this 'special Goa music' had no idea that their music was being played on the beaches of Goa by "cyber hippies".[citation needed] The first techno that was played in Goa was Kraftwerk in the late 1970s on the tape of a visiting DJ.[citation needed] At the time the music played at the parties was live bands. Tapes were played in between sets. In the early 1980s, sampling synth and MIDI music appeared globally and DJs became the preferred format in Goa, with two tape decks driving a party without a break, facilitating continuous music and continuous dancing.[citation needed] There had been resistance from the old-school acid heads who insisted that only acid rock should be played at parties, but they soon relented and converted to the revolutionary wave of technodelia that took hold in the 1980s.[citation needed]

Cassette tapes were used by DJs until the 1990s when DAT tapes were used. DJs playing in Goa during the 1980s included Fred Disko, Dr Bobby, Stephano, Paulino, Mackie, Babu, Laurent, Ray, Fred, Antaro, Lui, Rolf, Tilo, Pauli, Rudi, and Goa Gil.[6] The music was eclectic in style but nuanced around instrument/dub spacey versions of tracks that evoked mystical, cosmic, psychedelic, political, existential themes. Special mixes were made by DJs in Goa which were the editing of various versions of a track to make it longer. This was taking the stretch mix concept to another level, trip music for journeying to outdoors.[7]

Goa Trance as a music industry and collective party fashion tag did not gain global traction until 1994 when Paul Oakenfold began to champion the genre[8] via his own Perfecto label and in the media, most notably with the release of his 1994 Essential Mix, or more commonly known as the Goa Mix.[9]

By 199091 Goa had become a hot destination for partying and was no longer under the radar: the scene grew bigger. Goa-style parties spread like a diaspora all over the world from 1993 and a multitude of labels in various countries (UK, Australia, Japan, Germany) dedicated themselves to promoting psychedelic electronic music that reflected the ethos of Goa parties, Goa music and Goa-specific artists and producers and DJs. Mark Maurice's 'Panjaea's focal point' parties brought it to London in 1992 and its programming at London club megatripolis gave a great boost to the small international scene that was then growing (October 21, 1993 onwards). The golden age and first wave of Goa Trance was generally agreed upon aesthetic between 1994 and 1997.[citation needed]

The original goal of the music was to assist the dancers in experiencing a collective state of bodily transcendence, similar to that of ancient shamanic dancing rituals, through hypnotic, pulsing melodies and rhythms. As such, it has an energetic beat, often in a standard 4/4 dance rhythm. A typical track will generally build up to a much more energetic movement in the second half then taper off fairly quickly toward the end. The tempo typically lies in the 130150 BPM range, although some tracks may have a tempo as low as 110 or as high as 160 BPM. Generally 812 minutes long, Goa Trance tracks tend to focus on steadily building energy throughout, using changes in percussion patterns and more intricate and layered synth parts as the music progresses in order to build a hypnotic and intense feel.

The kick drum often is a low, thick sound with prominent sub-bass frequencies. The music very often incorporates many audio effects that are often created through experimentation with synthesisers. A well-known sound that originated with Goa trance and became much more prevalent through its successor, which evolved Goa Trance into a music genre known as Psytrance, has the organic "squelchy" sound (usually a sawtooth-wave which is run through a resonant band-pass or high-pass filter).[citation needed]

Other music technology used in Goa trance includes popular analogue synthesizers such as the Roland TB-303, Roland Juno-60/106, Novation Bass-Station, Korg MS-10, and notably the Roland SH-101. Hardware samplers manufactured by Akai, Yamaha and Ensoniq were also popular for sample storage and manipulation.[citation needed]

A popular element of Goa trance is the use of samples, often from science fiction movies. Those samples mostly contain references to drugs, parapsychology, extraterrestrial life, existentialism, OBEs, dreams, science, time travel, spirituality and similar mysterious and unconventional topics.[citation needed]

Detroit Techno was introduced in 1999 by a group of anonymous artists who performed exclusively Detroit Techno and Chicago House at a venue known as Laughing Buddha(formally known as Klinsons) in Baga, Goa. They were the first to play this Techno style of music with turntables. Using vinyl was a first for Goa at that time. Till then DJs usually used Mini Discs, D.A.T and CDs, without beat matching to mix. The introduction of the Detroit sound had a lasting effect on Goa Trance, leading to a more industrialized sound.

Old School Goa Trance:

New School Goa Trance:

The first parties were those held at Bamboo Forest at South Anjuna beach., Disco Valley at Vagator beach and Arambol beach(c. 1991-1993) [10] and attempt's initially were made to turn them into commercial events, which met with much resistance and the need to pay the local Goan police baksheesh they were generally staged around a bar, even though this may only be a temporary fixture in the forest or beach.[citation needed]. The parties talking place around the New Year tend to be the most chaotic with bus loads of people coming in from all places such as Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and the world over. Travelers and sadhus from all over India pass by to join in.[citation needed]

megatripolis in London was a great influence in popularising the sound. Running from June 1993 though really programming the music from October 1993 when it moved to Heaven nightclub it made all the national UK press, running until October 1996.

In 1993 a party organization called Return to the Source also brought the sound to London, UK. Starting life at the Rocket in North London with a few hundred followers, the Source went on to a long residency at Brixton's 2,000 capacity Fridge and to host several larger 6,000 capacity parties in Brixton Academy, their New Year's Eve parties gaining reputations for being very special. The club toured across the UK, Europe and Israel throughout the 1990s and went as far as two memorable parties on the slopes of Mount Fuji in Japan and New York's Liberty Science Center. By 2001 the partners Chris Deckker, Mark Allen, Phil Ross and Janice Duncan were worn out and all but gone their separate ways. The last Return to the Source party was at Brixton Academy in 2002.[citation needed]

Goa parties have a definitive visual aspect - the use of "fluoro" (fluorescent paint) is common on clothing and on decorations such as tapestries. The graphics on these decorations are usually associated with topics such as aliens, Hinduism, other religious (especially eastern) images, mushrooms (and other psychedelic art), shamanism and technology. Shrines in front of the DJ stands featuring religious items are also common decorations.[citation needed]

For a short period in the mid-1990s, Goa trance enjoyed significant commercial success with support from DJs, who later went on to assist in developing a much more mainstream style of trance outside Goa. Only a few artists came close to being Goa trance "stars", enjoying worldwide fame.[citation needed]

Several artists initially started producing Goa trance music and went on to produce psytrance instead.[citation needed]

Hertfordshire based organisations, Tribemix and Quantum Care, have developed a series of virtual reality experiences that take people living with dementia in care out of the residential homes and away to a range of relaxing places. The immersive 3D scenes include the beach, a forest or even to watch dolphins playing around a coral reef.

The project has already gained industry recognition as Tribemix and Quantum Care have been nominated for an Outstanding Innovation Award in Dementia Care at the National Dementia Care Awards.

The project began when Tribemix Managing Director, Alex Smale, wanted to help his elderly neighbours to get outside after becoming isolated due to disability, Our nearby residents, Stan and Dulcie, are 99 and 94 years old respectively. Over the past two years, we watched them go from active people walking into town to do their shopping, to losing their confidence and never leaving the house. When we began developing in VR for our commercial clients early this year, I thought Wouldnt it be great if we could take Stan and Dulcie to the beach?. So I created a virtual reality experience to do just that. This led to a conversation with a friend at Quantum Care. They were fortunately very forward thinking, and understood what we were trying to do. The results have been amazing and its the most rewarding thing Ive ever been fortunate enough to do..

Tribemix is now working with Quantum Care to roll the project out across their care home group. They are also working on developing the technology into training to allow carers and relatives to understand what it feels like to live with dementia.

Virtual reality headset – Wikipedia

A virtual reality headset provides immersive virtual reality for the wearer. VR headsets are widely used with computer games but they are also used in other applications, including simulators and trainers. They comprise a stereoscopic head-mounted display (providing separate images for each eye), stereo sound, and head motion tracking sensors[1] (which may include gyroscopes, accelerometers, structured light systems,[2] etc.). Some VR headsets also have eye tracking sensors[3] and gaming controllers.

An early VR headset, the Forte VFX1, was announced at CES in 1994. The VFX-1 has stereoscopic displays, 3-axis head-tracking, and stereo headphones.[4] Sony, another pioneer, released the Glasstron in 1997, which has an optional positional sensor, allowing the wearer to view the surroundings, with the perspective moving as his head moves, giving a deep sense of immersion. These VR headsets gave MechWarrior 2 players a new visual perspective of seeing the battlefield from inside the cockpit of their craft. However, these early headsets failed commercially due to their limited technology[5][6] and were described by John Carmack as like "looking through toilet paper tubes".[7]

In 2012, a crowdfunding campaign began for a VR headset known as Oculus Rift; the project was led by several prominent video game developers, including John Carmack[5] who later became the company's CTO.[8] In March 2014, the project's parent company Oculus VR was acquired by Facebook for US$2 billion.[9] The final consumer-oriented release of Oculus Rift began shipping on 28 March 2016.[10]

In March 2014, Sony demonstrated a prototype headset for PlayStation 4,[11] which was later named PlayStation VR.[12] In 2014, Valve Corporation demonstrated some headset prototypes,[13] which lead to a partnership with HTC to produce the Vive, which focuses on "room scale" VR environments that users can naturally navigate within and interact with.[14] The Vive was released in April 2016[15] and PlayStation VR in October 2016.[16]

Virtual reality headsets and viewers have also been designed for smartphones. Unlike headsets with integrated displays, these units are essentially enclosures which a smartphone can be inserted into. VR content is viewed from the screen of the device itself through lenses acting as a stereoscope, rather than using dedicated internal displays. Google released a series of specifications and associated DIY kits for virtual reality viewers known as Google Cardboard; these viewers are capable of being constructed using low-cost materials, such as cardboard (hence the naming). Samsung Electronics parterned with Oculus VR to co-develop the Samsung Gear VR (which is only compatible with recent Samsung Galaxy devices), while LG Electronics developed a headset with dedicated displays for its LG G5 smartphone known as LG 360 VR.[17][18][19][20][21]Mi VR Play is said to be the most affordable VR headset till 2016.

Virtual reality headsets have significantly higher requirements for latencythe time it takes from a change in input to have a visual effectthan ordinary video games.[22] If the system is too sluggish to react to head movement, then it can cause the user to experience virtual reality sickness, a kind of motion sickness.[23] According to a Valve engineer, the ideal latency would be 7-15 milliseconds.[24] A major component of this latency is the refresh rate of the display,[23] which has driven the adoption of displays with a refresh rate from 90Hz (Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) to 120Hz (PlayStation VR).[25]

The graphics processing unit (GPU) also needs to be more powerful to render frames more frequently. Oculus cited the limited processing power of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as the reason why they are targeting the PC gaming market with their first devices.[26]

A common way to reduce the perceived latency[27] or compensate for a lower frame rate,[28] is to take an (older) rendered frame and morph it according to the most recent head tracking data just before presenting the image on the screens. This is called asynchronous reprojection[29] or "asynchronous time warp" in Oculus jargon.[30]

PlayStation VR synthesizes "in-between frames" in such manner, so games that render at 60 fps natively result in 120 updates per second.[25][28] SteamVR (HTC Vive) will also use "interleaved reprojection" for games that cannot keep up with its 90Hz refresh rate, dropping down to 45 fps.[31]

The simplest technique is applying only projective transformation to the images for each eye (simulating rotation of the eye). The downsides are that this approach cannot take into account the translation (changes in position) of the head. And the rotation can only happen around the axis of the eyeball, instead of the neck, which is the true axis for head rotation. When applied multiple times to a single frame, this causes "positional judder", because position is not updated with every frame.[27][32][33]

A more complex technique is positional time warp, which uses pixel depth information from the Z-buffer to morph the scene into a different perspective. This produces other artifacts because it has no information about faces that are hidden due to occlusion[32] and cannot compensate for position-dependent effects like reflections and specular lighting. While it gets rid of the positional judder, judder still presents itself in animations, as timewarped frames are effectively frozen.[33] Support for positional time warp was added to the Oculus SDK in May 2015.[34]

Because virtual reality headsets stretch a single display across a wide field of view (up to 110 for some devices according to manufacturers), the magnification factor makes flaws in display technology much more apparent. One issue is the so-called screen-door effect, where the gaps between rows and columns of pixels become visible, kind of like looking through a screen door.[35] This was especially noticeable in earlier prototypes and development kits,[6] which had lower resolutions than the retail versions.

The lenses of the headset are responsible for mapping the up-close display to a wide field of view,[36][37] while also providing a more comfortable distant point of focus. One challenge with this is providing consistency of focus: because eyes are free to turn within the headset, it's important to avoid having to refocus to prevent eye strain.[38]

The lenses introduce distortion and chromatic aberration, which are corrected in software.[36]

Virtual reality headsets are being currently used as means to train medical students for surgery. It allows them to perform essential procedures in a virtual, controlled environment. Students perform surgeries on virtual patients, which allows them to acquire the skills needed to perform surgeries on real patients.[39] It also allows the students to revisit the surgeries from the perspective of the lead surgeon.[40]

Traditionally, students had to participate in surgeries and often they would miss essential parts. Now, with the use of VR headsets, students can watch surgical procedures from the perspective of the lead surgeon without missing essential parts. Students can also pause, rewind, and fast forward surgeries.[40]

Real Life Extension: Caloric Restriction or Intermittent …

Can you slow the sands of time? The research say yes but whats the best option? (Photo: Thomas Ellis)

Most people dont want to die.

Since even before Ponce de Leon and his search for the fountain of youth, man has been on a quest to achieve immortality.

Some people think were getting closer. In recent years, caloric restriction (CR) has been demonstrated to increase lab rat lifespans more than 20%. Intermittent fasting (IF), a much lesser-known and more lifestyle-friendly alternative, has shown results that even surpass CR in some respects.

Following up on the popularity of his last post on this blog (The Science of Fat-Loss: Why a Calorie Isnt Always a Calorie), Dr. Eades examines these two options and his personal experiments with both.

If you want to live longer, this two-part article is an excellent place to start for avoiding common mistakes, pain and wasted effort.

###

Dr. Eades:

How would you like it if I told you there was a way to eat pretty much anything and everything you wanted to eat and still maintain your health? Or better yet, what if I told you that you could eat pretty much anything and everything you wanted and even improve your health? Would you be interested?

There is a way to reduce blood sugar, improve insulin sensitivity, reduce blood pressure, increase HDL levels, get rid of diabetes, live a lot longer, and still be able to lose a little weight. All without giving up the foods you love. And without having to eat those foods in tiny amounts. Sounds like a late-night infomercial gimmick, but it isnt.

When I wrote those words as the lede to an article about a year and a half ago, the idea of intermittent fasting was limited mainly to research scientists and faddists. But a number of studies had been published primarily on rodents showing that intermittent fasting led to a host of benefits that not even caloric restriction could claim.

And these werent studies published by no-name scientists laboring in backwater research departments. The lead author on many of these papers was Mark P. Mattson, Ph.D, the Chief of the Laboratory of Neurosciences and Chief of the Cellular and Molecular Neurosciences Section of the National Institute on Aging, a division of the National Institutes of Health. People were starting to take notice.

Before the work on intermittent fasting, the only real strategy for extending the lives of laboratory animals was caloric restriction (CR). If rats or mice or even primates had their calories restricted by 30-40 percent as compared to those fed ad libitum [at pleasure = as much as they want] they lived 20-30 percent longer. These studies are typically done by dividing genetically similar animals into two groups, then giving one group all the food it can eat in a day. Researchers measure the food consumed, then reduce it by 30-40 percent and give to the other group the next day. Each day this drill is repeated with the calorically restricted group getting a reduced amount of food compared to what the other group got the day before.

These CR verses ad libitum-fed studies almost uniformly demonstrate an increase in longevity in the CR animals. The CR animals not only live 30 percent or so longer, they dont develop cancers, diabetes, heart disease, or obesity. And these animals have low blood sugar levels, low insulin levels, good insulin sensitivity, low blood pressure and are, in general, much healthier physically than their ad libitum fed counterparts. But not so psychologically.

As we saw in the Keys semi-starvation study, caloric restriction isnt much fun for humans, and it apparently isnt all that much fun for the animals undergoing it either. When rats live out their ratty lives calorically restricted in their cages, they seem to show signs of depression and irritability. Primates do as well. If primates dont get enough cholesterol, they can actually become violent. But they do live longer. Even though CR has never been proven in humans, based on lab animal experience it does work. So, if youre willing to put up with irritability, hostility and depression, it might be worth cutting your calories by 30 percent for the rest of your long, healthy miserable life.

But could there be a better way?

An enterprising scientist decided to try a little twist on the CR experiment. He divided the genetically-similar animals into two groups, fed one group all it wanted and measured the intake, then fed the other group all it wanted except every other day instead of daily. When the intake of the group fed every other day was measured, it turned out that that group the intermittently fasted group ate just about double on the eat days, so that overall both groups consumed the same amount of food. Animals in the one group at X amount of food per day while the animals in the other group ate 2X amount of food every other day. So both groups ate the same number of calories but the commonality ended there.

The intermittently fasted group of animals despite consuming the same number of calories as the ad libitum fed group enjoyed all the health and longevity benefits of calorically restricted animals. In essence, they got their cake and ate it, too. They got all the benefits of CR plus some without the CR.

Intermittent fasting (IF) reduced oxidative stress, made the animals more resistant to acute stress in general, reduced blood pressure, reduced blood sugar, improved insulin sensitivity, reduced the incidence of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, and improved cognitive ability. But IF did even more. Animals that were intermittently fasted greatly increased the amount of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) relative to CR animals. CR animals dont produce much more BDNF than do ad libitum fed animals.

BDNF, as its name implies, is a substance that increases the growth of new nerve cells in the brain, but it does much more than that. BDNF is neuroprotective against stress and toxic insults to the brain and is somehowno one yet knows how, exactlyinvolved in the insulin sensitivity/glucose regulating mechanism. Infusing BDNF into animals increases their insulin sensitivity and makes them lose weight. Humans with greater levels of BDNF have lower levels of depression. BDNF given to depressed humans reduces their depression. And increased levels of BDNF improve cognitive ability. In short, you want as much BDNF as you can get, and with IF you if youre a lab animal at least can get a lot.

As the animal study data poured in, a few researchers began tentatively studying human subjects. A few studies appeared in the literature, and all showed positive benefits to humans who intermittently fasted. In none of the studies did subjects go completely without food for a day most had one meal per day or ate ad libitum one day and reduced consumption markedly the next.

Even some academic physicians (including Don Laub, my old mentor when I did a plastic surgery rotation at Stanford) put themselves on a modified version of an IF and wrote about it the the journal Medical Hypothesis. Since May 2003, these folks have been on a version of the IF in which they consume about 20-50 percent of their estimated daily energy requirements on the fast day and eat whatever they want on the non-fast days.

Since starting their regimen they have

observed health benefits starting in as little as two weeks, in insulin resistance, asthma, seasonal allergies, infectious diseases of viral, bacterial and fungal origin (viral URI, recurrent bacterial tonsillitis, chronic sinusitis, periodontal disease), autoimmune disorder (rheumatoid arthritis), osteoarthritis, symptoms due to CNS inflammatory lesions (Tourettes, Menieres) cardiac arrhythmias (PVCs, atrial fibrillation), menopause related hot flashes.

It all sounded good. But before I try anything out of the ordinary, and certainly before I suggest it to any of my own patients or readers, I view the idea through the lens of natural selection. In other words, I ask myself if the regimen in question would have been congruent with our Paleolithic heritage. If so, I move forward. If not, I take a long, hard look at all the biochemistry, physiology and pharmacology involved before I make any sort of recommendation.

In viewing IF through the lens of natural selection I came to the conclusion that IF was probably the way Paleolithic man ate. We modern humans have become acculturated to the three square meals per day regimen. Animals in the wild, particularly carnivorous animals, dont eat thrice per day; they eat when they make a kill. I would imagine that Paleolithic man did the same. If I had to make an intelligent guess, I would say that Paleolithic man probably ate once per day or maybe even twice every three days. In data gathered from humans still living in non-Westernized cultures in the last century, it appears that they would gorge after a kill and sleep and lay around doing not much of anything for the next day or so. When these folks got hungry, they went out and hunted and started the cycle again.

If you accept, as I do, that the Paleolithic diet is the optimal diet for modern man due to our evolved physiologies, then you should probably also buy into the idea that a meal timing schedule more like that of Paleolithic man would provide benefit as well.

With this in mind, I recruited my wife into the process and we went on an intermittent fast . It wasnt all that difficult, but I can tell you that the non-eating days were long. And the eating days were spent eating and dreading the non-eating day soon to follow.

After a few weeks, it dawned on me that we werent really following the same IF that all the lab animals were. The lab animals got food for 24 hours then went without for 24 hours. We, on the other hand, got food for about 16 hours (the waking hours) then went without for about 32 hours (8 hours sleeping, 16 hours awake and the next 8 hours sleeping). We decided to modify our fasting strategy

Recruitment – Wikipedia

Recruitment (hiring) is a core function of human resource management. Recruitment refers to the overall process of attracting, selecting and appointing suitable candidates for jobs (either permanent or temporary) within an organization. Recruitment can also refer to processes involved in choosing individuals for unpaid positions, such as voluntary roles or unpaid trainee roles. Managers, human resource generalists and recruitment specialists may be tasked with carrying out recruitment, but in some cases public-sector employment agencies, commercial recruitment agencies, or specialist search consultancies are used to undertake parts of the process. Internet-based technologies to support all aspects of recruitment have become widespread.[1]

In situations where multiple new jobs are created and recruited for the first time or vacancies are there or the nature of a job has substantially changed, a job analysis might be undertaken to document the knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics (KSAOs) required or sought for the job. From these the relevant information is captured in such documents as job descriptions and job specifications. Often, a company already has job descriptions for existing positions. Where already drawn up, these documents may require review and updating to reflect current requirements. Prior to the recruitment stage, a person specification should be finalized.[2]

Sourcing is the use of one or more strategies to attract or identify candidates to fill job vacancies. It may involve internal and/or external recruitment advertising, using appropriate media, such as job portals, local or national newspapers, specialist recruitment media, professional publications, window advertisements, job centers, or in a variety of ways via the internet.

Alternatively, employers may use recruitment consultancies or agencies to find otherwise scarce candidateswho, in many cases, may be content in their current positions and are not actively looking to move. This initial research for candidatesalso called name generationproduces contact information for potential candidates, whom the recruiter can then discreetly contact and screen.[2]

Various psychological tests can assess a variety of KSAOs, including literacy. Assessments are also available to measure physical ability. Recruiters and agencies may use applicant tracking systems to filter candidates, along with software tools for psychometric testing and performance-based assessment.[3] In many countries, employers are legally mandated to ensure their screening and selection processes meet equal opportunity and ethical standards.[2]

Employers are likely to recognize the value of candidates who encompass soft skills such as interpersonal or team leadership.[4] Many companies, including multinational organizations and those that recruit from a range of nationalities, are also often concerned about whether candidate fits the prevailing company culture.[5]

The word disability carries few positive connotations for most employers. Research has shown that employer biases tend to improve through first-hand experience and exposure with proper supports for the employee[6] and the employer making the hiring decisions. As for most companies, money and job stability are two of the contributing factors to the productivity of a disabled employee, which in return equates to the growth and success of a business. Hiring disabled workers produce more advantages than disadvantages.[7] There is no difference in the daily production of a disabled worker.[8] Given their situation, they are more likely to adapt to their environmental surroundings and acquaint themselves with equipment, enabling them to solve problems and overcome adversity as with other employees. The U.S. IRS grants companies Disabled Access Credit when they meet eligibility criteria.[9]

Many major corporations recognize the need for diversity in hiring to compete successfully in a global economy.[10] Other organizations, for example universities and colleges, have been slow to embrace diversity as an essential value for their success.[11]

Recruitment Process Outsourcing, or commonly known as "RPO" is a form of business process outsourcing (BPO) where a company engages a third party provider to manage all or part of its recruitment process.

Internal recruitment (not to be confused with internal recruiters!) refers to the process of a candidate being selected from the existing workforce to take up a new job in the same organization, perhaps as a promotion, or to provide career development opportunity, or to meet a specific or urgent organizational need. Advantages include the organization's familiarity with the employee and their competencies insofar as they are revealed in their current job, and their willingness to trust said employee. It can be quicker and have a lower cost to hire someone internally.[12]

An employee referral program is a system where existing employees recommend prospective candidates for the job offered, and in some organizations if the suggested candidate is hired, the employee receives a cash bonus.[13]

Niche firms tend to focus on building ongoing relationships with their candidates, as the same candidates may be placed many times throughout their careers. Online resources have developed to help find niche recruiters.[14] Niche firms also develop knowledge on specific employment trends within their industry of focus (e.g., the energy industry) and are able to identify demographic shifts such as aging and its impact on the industry.[15]

Social recruiting is the use of social media for recruiting including sites like Facebook and Twitter or career-oriented social networking sites such as LinkedIn and XING.[16][17] It is a rapidly growing sourcing technique, especially with middle-aged people. On Google+, the fastest-growing age group is 4554. On Twitter, the expanding generation is people from ages 5564.[18]

Mobile recruiting is a recruitment strategy that uses mobile technology to attract, engage and convert candidates. Mobile recruiting is often cited as a growing opportunity for recruiters to connect with candidates more efficiently with "over 89% of job seekers saying their mobile device will be an important tool and resource for their job search."[19]

Some recruiters work by accepting payments from job seekers, and in return help them to find a job. This is illegal in some countries, such as in the United Kingdom, in which recruiters must not charge candidates for their services (although websites such as LinkedIn may charge for ancillary job-search-related services). Such recruiters often refer to themselves as "personal marketers" and "job application services" rather than as recruiters.[20][21]

Using Multiple-criteria decision analysis tools such as Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and combining it with conventional recruitment methods provides an added advantage by helping the recruiters to make decisions when there are several diverse criteria to be considered or when the applicants lack past experience; for instance recruitment of fresh university graduates.[22]

In some companies where the recruitment volume is high, it is common to see a multi tier recruitment model where the different sub-functions are being group together to achieve efficiency.

An example of a 3 tier recruitment model:

How Blockchain is overshadowing Bitcoin

Steve Jobs once said that the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.

Thats the motto an anonymous person took to heart as he shook up the financial world by creating an unregulated tech-based currency in early 2009. That very currency was developed using another revolutionary technology which is now in the news for its uses beyond trading unregulated online money, and has become a hot topic amongst financial and business executives recently.

Last year, Facebook's VP of Design thought the TNW Conference main stage was the best she'd ever been on.

Lets discuss what both technologies offer their users, and what the future holds for each.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, created and held electronically on your PC or in a virtual wallet. No one controls it or sees it its decentralized so no person, institution or bank controls the currency.

It was the year 2009 when bitcoin burst onto the financial scene, and soon computers all over the world started running sophisticated programs that would mine blocks of bitcoins by solving extremely complex mathematical equations. Mining bitcoin means to discover or verify new bitcoins because unlike traditional currency, bitcoin cannot be printed. Miners make money every time they discover new bitcoins or verify a bitcoin transaction.

There can only be a fixed 21 million bitcoins [to prevent inflation], out of which 15.5 million are currently in circulation, which leaves 5.5 million bitcoins to be discovered. These valued blocks of online information skyrocketed in price as time went on and investor appeal in the new technology grew. Today, January 19th, bitcoin is showing an upwards trend and is trading at US $890.90, below the US $1000 threshold it broke in November 2013.

Figure 1 Bitcoin price between July 2010 and Jan 2017. Source: Coindesk

Trading could be done online anonymously, quickly, without hassle from regulatory and exchange bodies. The ease of use and lack of a trail led to flexibility unheard of in the financial world. But for all its benefits, the currency was overshadowed because of its anonymous, unregulated nature as it became easy for people to use the currency for illicit transactions that would stay off the books, as well as for schemes that swindled people.

Coinbase has been one of the biggest proponents and enablers of bitcoin use. In an era where most traditional financial institutions avoid bitcoin discussions, the company sticks vehemently to its stand on bitcoin, likening the resistance of business executives to bitcoin to how companies once preferred private intranets over the open internet. We all know who won that battle!

While bitcoin had the power to make transactions untraceable, it was another innovation that promised to make every transaction transparent and permanent. Underlying the use of bitcoin is blockchain, which is almost entirely opposite its more famous alter-ego. Blockchain possesses the ability of having permanent records of the transactions the blocks (the name for their portions of value) are used for, and at any time people can see those changes online in real time. It is this transparency that people have hopes in, but thats not the only thing blockchain does differently than the cryptocurrency it drove for so long.

Blockchain can easily transfer everything from property rights to stocks and currencies without having to go through a middle man and clearing institution like SWIFT, while offering the same safety, higher speed and lower costs. Consider it from the financial perspective: billions of dollars are transferred daily in the financial markets, with every transaction being cleared by a middle man. Replacing the middle man with a revolutionary technology that is faster, cheaper and as secure will help save millions for businesses.

To put into perspective just how big the market is now and how big it will become, the World Economic Forum shared some metrics on Bitcoin and Blockchain. It estimates that currently $20 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin exists now on record. The bigger prediction, though, was that by 2027 about 10 percent of the entire global GDP would be stored on blockchains, meaning anyone who wanted to become part of that process still has time to get a piece of the pie.

Because of its cleaner reputation than bitcoin, blockchain has garnered the support of different financial institutions behind its design. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Bank of America have expressed great interest in blockchain by joining a coalition to implement it into banking practices. In addition to those large financial players, Visa, NASDAQ, Citi, and others have also agreed to be clients for blockchain related services and technology. These large, long established institutions feel that blockchain has less of a negative image attached to it than bitcoin, and because of that they seem more open to trying out the technology.

The rush towards blockchain is simple: banks can increase the efficiency of their transactions by using their own permissioned blockchains to record all transactions done by their customers, as opposed to trying to record all that data with different types of software that become outdated every few years.

However, some experts like Don Tapscott [University of Toronto] think that banks should be using blockchain technology not just to increase their banking capabilities, but to completely change how banking computing looks like for the entire industry.

Indeed, outside of traditional banking, blockchain services have allowed users to engage in high value currency transactions already. The processing times on these transactions are very quick, and allow for a high volume of money to be exchanged and recorded.

Major bitcoin players include names such as Bitreserve and Circle.

Bitreserve serves as an online portal to convert currency from one form to another. In the beginning, users had to deposit their currency in bitcoin form, and could then convert their bitcoin into 25 other world currencies or fourdifferent types of valuable metals. Circle at first only allowed use of its transfer services amazingly quick money transfers to anyone, anywhere to be done in bitcoin money, including the process of depositing, holding, and sending of currency.

Many of the companies who started off using bitcoin as their main currency are changing to focus on blockchain as a whole. Bitreserve changed its name to Uphold and has since allowed depositing of currency in any form, and Circle has changed to allow use of credit and debit cards to be used for deposit, holding, and sending of money worldwide.

Many startups that were created with a focus on bitcoin are changing to accommodate alternative currencies and to let others know that they are not nearly as bitcoin dependent as before for what seems to be a similar reason to the one banks use: that bitcoin has a negative connotation to it, and since blockchain is the hot commodity now, it seems like a smarter idea to tie the business to that. They hope that, as more businesses and users adopt the blockchain technology, their use of it will also allow them to gain in popularity and use.

For players in the financial sector, the best thing to do right now would be to seriously consider the advantages of blockchain. While bitcoin is the most top of mind for the general public, blockchain is attracting the biggest forces in the finance sector with its clean reputation. More than that, blockchain offers the opportunity to revitalize modern value transactions as we know it, and those who get their stakes in before that happens will have the best chance to shape what happens after. Its business management 101: first-mover advantage!

Is it crazy to change course of your company to try something so new, something so different from what you have has been accustomed to. Maybe so. But as Steve Jobs very rightly noted when thinking about changing the world, financial or otherwise its usually the crazy ones who do.

Matthew Fox (born Timothy James Fox in 1940) is an American priest and theologian.[1] Formerly a member of the Dominican Order within the Roman Catholic Church, he became a member of the Episcopal Church following his expulsion from the order in 1993. Fox was an early and influential exponent of a movement that came to be known as Creation Spirituality. The movement draws inspiration from (though diverges doctrinally from) the mystical philosophies of such medieval Catholic visionaries as Hildegard of Bingen, Thomas Aquinas, Saint Francis of Assisi, Julian of Norwich, Dante Alighieri, Meister Eckhart and Nicholas of Cusa, as well as the wisdom traditions of Christian scriptures. Creation Spirituality is also strongly aligned with ecological and environmental movements of the late 20th century and embraces numerous spiritual traditions around the world, including Buddhism, Judaism, Sufism, and Native American spirituality, with a focus on "deep ecumenism" or what its critics would call "syncretism" and therefore doctrinal error.

Fox has written 30 books that have sold millions of copies and by the mid-1990s had attracted a "huge and diverse following".[2]

Timothy James Fox, was born in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1967, when he entered the Roman Catholic Order of Preachers he was given the religious name of "Matthew". He received master's degrees in both philosophy and theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology and later earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Medieval theology, summa cum laude, from the Institut Catholique de Paris, studying with Marie-Dominique Chenu. After receiving his doctorate, Fox began teaching at a series of Catholic universities, beginning in 1972 in Chicago with Barat College of the Sacred Heart.

In 1976, Fox moved to Chicagos Mundelein College (now part of Loyola University), to start the Institute of Culture and Creation Spirituality, which developed an alternative pedagogy that diverged from orthodox Catholic theology and would eventually lead to conflict with church authorities. In 1983, Fox moved the Institute of Culture and Creation Spirituality to Oakland, California, and began teaching at Holy Names University, where he was a professor for 12 years.[3]

In 1984 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, asked the Dominican Order to investigate Foxs writings. When the initial findings did not find his books heretical, Cardinal Ratzinger, ordered a second review which was never undertaken.[4][5]

Due to his denial of the doctrine of original sin, in 1988 Fox was forbidden from teaching theology by then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. Fox wrote a Pastoral Letter to Cardinal Ratzinger and the Whole Church, calling the Catholic church a dysfunctional family. After a short sabbatical Fox resumed writing, teaching, and lecturing. In 1991 his Dominican superior ordered Fox to leave the ICCS in California and return to Chicago or face dismissal. Fox refused. In 1993, Foxs conflicts with Catholic authorities climaxed with his expulsion from the Dominican order for disobedience, effectively ending his professional relationship with the church and his teaching at its universities.

According to Fox, Cardinal Ratzinger ordered the expulsion after Fox refused to respond to a summons to discuss his writings with his superiors in the Roman Catholic Church. Among the issues, which he was asked to defend, were that he called God "Mother"; preferred the concept of Original Blessing over Original Sin; worked too closely with Native American spiritual practices; did not condemn homosexuality; and taught the four paths of creation spiritualitythe Via Positiva, Via Negativa, Via Creativa and Via Transformativa instead of the churchs classical three paths of purgation, illumination and union.[6]

Writing in The New York Times, Molly O'Neill says that the Vatican was presented with a request on the part of the Dominicans that the theologian be dismissed.[6] According to John L. Allen, Jr., it was largely in reaction to the unconventional programming at his Institute for Creation Spirituality, with a faculty that included a masseuse, a Zen Buddhist, a yoga teacher, and a self-described witch named Starhawk.[7]

After his expulsion, Fox met young Anglican activists in England who were using "raves" as a way to bring life back to their liturgy and to attract young people to church worship. He was inspired to begin holding his own series of Techno Cosmic Masses in Oakland and other U.S. cities, events designed to connect people to a more ecstatic and visceral celebration and relationship with their spirituality.[8]

That initial Anglican connection became more formal when he was received into the Episcopal Church (Anglican Communion) as a priest in 1994 by Bishop William Swing of the Episcopal Diocese of California.[9]

In 1996, Fox founded the University of Creation Spirituality in Oakland, an outgrowth of his institutes at Mundelein and Holy Names. The university offered similar master's degree programs in creation spirituality and related studies. It was initially accredited through an affiliation with New College of California, before shifting in 1999 to affiliate with the Naropa Institute of Boulder, Colorado, creating and running Naropas master's degree program. The university also added a separate doctorate of ministry degree, with a curriculum based on his 1993 book The Reinvention of Work: A New Vision of Livelihood for Our Time, which talked about a "priesthood of all workers".[10]

Fox led the University of Creation Spirituality for nine years, then was succeeded as president by James Garrison in 2005. The institution was subsequently renamed Wisdom University.[11]

Since leaving the university, Fox has continued to lecture, write and publish books. In 2005, he founded an educational organization called Youth and Elder Learning Laboratory for Ancestral Wisdom Education (YELLAWE). The YELLAWE program is based on a holistic approach to education and creativity derived from Foxs masters level programs. It also includes physical training in bodily meditation practices such as tai chi. YELLAWE has operated in inner-city school systems in Oakland and Chicago and, as of late 2010, had announced plans to expand to school systems in Hawaii and Chattanooga, Tennessee.[12]

Fox's proponents hold that his teachings are more gender neutral, ecology sensitive, and accepting of non-traditional sexuality, than church orthodoxy.[13]

While some academic theologians[who?] refer to Fox as the next Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, others call him a populizer, not an intellectual.[14] Robert Brow characterizes the teachings as "esoteric excursions into ethics, theology, and mysticism".[15]

Foxs conception of Creation Spirituality draws on both a close reading of early and medieval mystics within Catholic traditions as well as ecstatic and spiritual practices from numerous other faiths around the world, in an approach Fox called deep ecumenism for its connections across many spiritual practices. This was described most particularly in his book One River, Many Wells: Wisdom Springing from Global Faith.

Creation Spirituality considers itself a green theology, emphasizing a holy relationship between humanity and nature. Accordingly, the protection of nature is considered a sacrament and an expression of God and a Cosmic Christ. This approach was endorsed by eco-theologian Thomas Berry among others. Foxs book The Coming of the Cosmic Christ: The Healing of Mother Earth and the Birth of a Global Renaissance delves more into these issues.

Fox also laid out other tenets of Creation Spirituality in some of his other books, particularly Original Blessing and A Spirituality Named Compassion.

Foxs 1996 autobiography, Confessions: The Making of a Post-Denominational Priest, describes his life as a Dominican priest and his struggle with the Vatican as he wrote about his experiences and understanding of early Christianity.

Fox also has authored or edited nearly 30 other books, largely on various spiritual teachings, teachers and mystics (listed below). He was the first to translate Meister Eckhart into English from the critical German editions along with a commentary on his work and helped to launch the Hildegard of Bingen revival. His book on the mysticism of Thomas Aquinas translates many of his works that have never before been translated into English, German or French.

Fox's theological positions have been categorized as a type of monism, specifically panentheism.[15]

Fox's "Techno Cosmic Mass" (more recently called "Cosmic Mass") is an attempt to combine the religious ritual of the Eucharist with dance and multimedia material, deejays, video jockeys and rap music. They evoke and connect spiritual rituals and the ecstatic energy of Techno music and rave parties. They developed from a group called the Nine O'Clock Service in Sheffield, England, in the late 1980s and early 1990s and were brought to the United States and further developed by Fox in the mid-1990s.[16]

In 2005, while preparing for a presentation in Germany and following the naming of Cardinal Ratzinger as Pope Benedict XVI, Fox created 95 theses that he then translated into German. On the weekend of Pentecost, arrangements were made for him to nail these to the door of the Wittenberg church where Martin Luther nailed the original 95 Theses in the 16th century, an act often associated with the Protestant Reformation.[17]

The action fueled the creation of a lively blog involving tens of thousands of Germans. In his theses, Fox called for a new reformation in Western Christianity. In his supporting book, A New Reformation, Fox argued that two Christianities already exist and it is time for a new reformation to acknowledge that fact and move the Western spiritual tradition into new directions.[18]

Robosaurus - the FIRE BREATHING monster robot

ROBOSAURUS THE FIRE BREATHING, CAR EATING, ELECTROHYDROMECHANICAL, 40 foot tall, 58,000 pound, TRANSFORMING MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT ROBOT. GOING ONCE... GOING TWICE... GONE! On January 19, 2008 after 18 years of operation, Robosaurus was sold at the famed Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona . MORE Two of Dougs USA Patents are for his Robosaurus invention. He founded Monster Robots, Inc. and was involved in finding all investors and product sponsors. Doug did all the structural design and engineering (loads determinations, weights and stress analysis). Along with all the electronic, hydraulic and control system packaging and functional testing. The creature, which was built in 1.5 years, has been doing shows since 1990. The most recent NDT (non-destructive-testing) inspection of all welded joints was performed at 250,000 miles and showed no weld fatigue degradation.

One man sitting up in the creatures cranium controls Robosaurus. Doug had to develop an innovative wearable control system to enable a single pilot to simultaneously control 18 proportional hydraulic motions. Each hydraulic valve is controlled by a P-Q Controls Inc. of Bristol, Connecticut computer valve board that converts the simple on-off electrical switch signals given by the pilot in the head into proper proportional fluid flow rates to the various hydraulic cylinders and pumps.

Much of the Robosaurus structural design involved tradeoffs to enable transformation to a legal trailer for hauling the 58,000-pound, fire breathing, beast from show to show. Robosaurus meets highway size and weight requirements for all 50 States.

DAREDEVIL Engineering Projects

NOTICE: April 18, 2014 AeroVisions, LLC and the Big Ed (Beckley Media LLC) have mutually terminated the relationship to build a rocket powered motorcycle system for Big Ed to jump the Snake River Canyon. We are no longer involved in engineering or developing his jump bike system. There were numerous reasons we could not participate:

1) AeroVisions negotiating with Beckley Media's attorney for months without reaching a fair agreement.

2) AeroVisions agreed to warrantee the jump bike & jump system. Beckley wanted us to warrant the rider as well.

3) In April, Beckley insisted on changing the engineering funding source to a new 3rd party. Negotiating with that party's attorney would have just added more delay.

4) AeroVisions constantly expressed urgency to start engineering, since time was rapidly evaporating to complete the project with confidence by September 7, 2014. We needed adequate time to design, engineer, fabricate and fully test all systems plus train the pilot to establish a high level of confidence to insure a 99.5% probability of success for the rider. Rushing and only achieving 70% probability of success by starting at this late date to us was unacceptable.

5) Extending the jump date to July 4th, 2015 was also unacceptable to Beckley Media.

6) The AeroVisions proposed jump bike would be a genuine drivable motorcycle that could "jump" over 1/2 mile in distance and land on its wheels on the other side. It would NOT be a non-road worthy, non-motorcycle, rocket powered missile that would slide up a launch rail like a child's model rocket toy.

All we can say is best of luck to Big Ed in "gettin' er done" safely this September.

Rest in Peace Oct 17,1938 - Nov 30, 2007.

Doug Malewicki was the designer and engineer of Evel Knievel's steam rocket powered SkyCycle X-1 canyon jumping motorcycle. The Plan and Process of Ascension – Spiritual Evolution

The Plan and Process of Ascension Ascension

From 2016

Ascension is the conscious heart living of love. It is the expanded heart consciousness. When you are fully in your heart consciousness, what happens? A number of things get triggered. Your intellect, your mental capacity and what you think of as emotional capacity is cleared. Your intellect, your mental capacity expands phenomenally. Your ability to understand, to perceive, to see and to truly feel the love not simply romantic love that you begin to engage in and so did I at around twelve or fifteen or twenty-four. You become the love, you are the love. This isnt something again that you are needing to be taught, it is your fundamental self, it is who you are. (Jesus through Linda Dillon, Dec. 25, 2016, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/12/25/jesuss-christmas-message/.)

But for the presence of the Galactic Beings, you would now have been living under very restricted conditions, and imprisoned and controlled by the dark Ones. However, they were never going to be allowed to exercise such control over you, as you future had been planned to end with complete success and the opportunity to ascend.

This is normal at the end of a cycle providing the Light has reached the required level. It means that Ascension is assured for those who aspire to rise up, and have been able to do so above the challenges that have been given them. (Mike Quinsey, Sept. 9, 2016.)

The joy you will experience in Reality, at Home in the Presence of God, is WAY beyond your ability as humans to even conceive of, and it is to that that you will awaken. (Jesus through John Smallman, Aug. 1, 2016.)

This life is about ascension. This life is about the fulfillment of the Mothers Plan, the anchoring and the renewal of love upon the planet. Not in some esoteric, religious manner, but in your everyday life, in your actions, in your thoughts, in your behaviors, in your interactions, in your relationships, in your structures, in your institutions, in your societies, in your nations and in your body.

So, are there many distractions? Is there a great deal of both the pot boiling over and simmering on the back burner? Yes. Ignore it. Look at it, perhaps turn the burner down, remove the pot, and then ignore it because that is not what you are here for. You are here to surrender to your love, to the love and to your love, and you do that by being vigilant as participant and observer of yourself to start with. ("Surrender: The Next Step to Ascension with St. Germaine and Steve Beckow," 7/23/2016 athttp://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/07/31/transcript-st-germaine-ahwaa-surrender-next-step-ascension-july-14-2016/.)

Yearn, desire because it is the precursor for creation and the coming together and bringing forth in form, anchoring upon Gaia, Nova Earth, wondrous things. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, July 1, 2016.)

This special occasion ... will not be repeated again for a very long time. ("A Message from my Higher Self," channelled by Mike Quinsey. April 8, 2016, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/04/08/mike-quinsey-message-higher-self-18-4/.)

Please remember that imagination is fifth dimensional thought that flows from your Multidimensional Mind. Also remember that Unconditional Love constantly flows from your High Heart.

It is the activation of your fifth dimensional imagination and your fifth dimensional Unconditional Love that is the precursor to your flashing into Lightbody. If you all knew how very close you were to this experience, you would be greatly surprised. ("Suzanne Lie: The Arcturians Remembering What You Always Knew. Part 1," March 22, 2016, http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/03/22/suzanne-lie-arcturians-remembering-always-knew-part-1/.)

You are at a point of what has been termed ascension, shift, awakening, heart consciousness, bliss, ecstasy, it matters not. The terminology is infinite and you love to have your own expression, as do we. The realization of your divinity, the contentment with who you are in totality in your divine human self, is truly awakened. ("Transcript: Archangel Michael Returns to AHWAA: Whats It Like to be an Archangel? March 17, 2016," at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/03/27/transcript-archangel-michael-returns-ahwaa-whats-like-archangel-march-17-2016/.)

The restoration of Love upon this planet is Ascension. There are many explanations of how and where and when and what Ascension is and looks like and feels like. So again, in the spirit of simplification, we tell you that Ascension, individually and collectively, is the experience, the anchoring, and the embodiment of Love, in its totality, in its divinity, in its expression, in its actions.

Now you say to me, Gabby, what on earth does that mean? And what I suggest to you, as an Archangel that is often considered quite vociferous, is that what it means is is you accepting the truth of who you are. Long ago we have, through this channel, said to you that the keys to heaven are Love, trust, forgiveness, unity, connectedness, and balance. Now you may take that as an explanation of what does the embodiment of Love look, feel, taste and smell like.

It is not simply to be kind, although kindness is a much underrated quality upon your planet and elsewhere, at times. If you are loving then you are kind, you are gentle, you are considerate, you are compassionate. It is the practice, it is the action, it is the intention, it is the stillpoint, it is putting yourself completely, consistently, eternally, infinitely, in the expression and the experience of Love. It is bliss, it is ecstasy, it is common sense, it is being grounded; it is not being a space cadet walking around and doing nothing. ...

So, I come this day to plead with you, to absolutely plead with you to come and turn to us and allow us to fill you with Love. Now you say, Oh thats okay; I know that I am in the Love. Dearest hearts, you have only just begun; there is always more.

So, on behalf of the Mother in the honoring of who you are and the honoring of the divine, the Mother/Father One, can you let us do our job? Could you call on us, the entire Council of Love and let us fill you and bring you to a higher realm, to anchor your feet firmly in the 7th dimension of Love? We are not waiting. (Archangel Gabrielle: Who is the Council of Love and What is Its Purpose? Feb. 28, 2016, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/?p=273441.)

Now is a new, more evolved, never before experienced energetic time on earth. (The Arcturian Group. Channelled by Marilyn Raffaele. January 10, 2016. http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/01/11/the-arcturian-group-via-marilyn-raffaele-january-10-2016/)

From 2015

Steve Beckow: Its very interesting, I notice that we just accept the words you use, but I dont know if we necessarily know what you mean. For instance, you say expand your consciousness. What does it mean to expand ones consciousness? What exactly does that refer to?

Arcturians: What it means to expand ones consciousness is to create a conscious road, pathway from your third-dimensional consciousness of your everyday life into your fourth-dimensional consciousness of your higher everyday life, and then into your fifth-dimensional consciousness. And then once you are able to create that initial portal from your physical self up to the portal into your fifth-dimensional consciousness, then you have a much easier ride into higher and higher frequencies of reality. ("Transcript ~ The Arcturians on AHWAA: Mastering What Jesus Knew, December 24, 2015," at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2016/01/05/transcript-the-arcturians-on-ahwaa-mastering-what-jesus-knew-december-24-2015/.)

That expansion of consciousness, if maintained for a period of time, will begin to create new neurons within the physical brain and even for us in the multi-dimensional mind, which is the fifth dimensional, what we call separate hard drive.

Then, every time one of our grounded ones has that experience, it is easier to have that experience again.

The civilization which you are a part of has the opportunity to move and explore beyond all levels of spiritual evolution and unity with the Creator that have ever been experienced upon the Earth.

This is why you are present now and have been present within many of this planets previous civilizations. You are preparing yourself to experience the Creator beyond anything which has been explored at a physical level before. Your role and purpose in this lifetime is immense and its foundation lies with your ability to create and manifest from the core of your soul, which is where the divine plan of the Creator is embedded. (The Celestial White Beings: Creating the Future of Ascension, Channeled by Natalie Glasson, December 23, 2015, http://goldenageofgaia.com/2015/12/25/the-celestial-white-beings-via-natalie-glasson-creating-the-future-of-ascension/.)

We, the members of humanity, are endeavoring to expand into our own fifth dimensional Lightbody so that we can become the population that inhabits this wonderful, revised, updated version of our beloved planet Gaia. (Suzanne Lie: Thirty Veils Of Illusion. The Arcturians Birthing New Earth Part 1 & Veil #7, The Illusion of Constancy. December 12, 2015.http://suzanneliephd.blogspot.co.uk/.)

SB: There are actually some people who interpret the fact that they may not have felt something or they have not felt very much as meaning that they are excluded from Ascension. Could you address that please?

AAM: And I address those particularly who are feeling this way for this is an age-old problem. And so I thank you for bringing this to the forefront. You are my family, each and every one of you who listens this night; you are friend, you are ally but you are also part, not only of our family but of my family. I claim you as sibling, as friend, as dearest heart.

You say to me, But Michael, Mi-ka-el, I am not an archangel. I would say to you, Do you mean to deny your angelic heritage? Do you choose to deny your magnificence? I am born of the Mother/Father One and so are you. My dearest heart, brothers and sisters all, so why, why then do some of you have these wondrous experiences and then why are some of you left feeling as if you are left behind crying in the shadows and doubting your worthiness, your very worth?

Sweet angels, let me be clear once more, and I speak on behalf of our Mother: None are excluded from this process of Ascension, for this upliftment into higher, different, inclusive realms, where you are headed, all of you, is inclusive. The Mother did not decide to banish some and favor others; be very clear about that. ("Transcript ~ Archangel Michael on AHWAA: No One Will be Excluded from Ascension, October 15, 2015," at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2015/11/19/transcript-archangel-michael-on-ahwaa-no-one-will-be-excluded-from-ascension-october-15-2015/.)

Philipp: How are enlightenment, awakening and Ascension related?

Archangel Michael: What you are asking is to stratify, to see Ascension, enlightenment, shift, opening as different things, different events.

But let us suggest that, yes, it is a continuum, but at this point in time it is more like the flow of an infinity sign. So you want to be in the flow. Now let us explain.

You move through your Ascension work, letting go of the core issues, of the vasanas, of that which has blocked you from the complete joy of heart, the complete love of your sweet self and everything else.

Then you are flowing through the Ascension portal, into enlightenment, looping back around, back through the Ascension portal, holding the enlightenment that you have gained, holding the abilities that you have gained as your interdimensional, expanded self, bringing it back into what you are thinking of as current reality, or physicality, anchoring it into your body, into your mental form, into who you are and how you view the world.

Except that, as you come back, your ability to see us, to perceive us, to talk with us, to expand with us, has already been anchored. So you are bringing this back into what you have thought of as the Third Dimension, the renewed Third-Dimensional reality to share with the human race. But your frequency is already higher. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Philipp S. through Linda Dillon, Sept. 2015, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2015/10/03/the-flow-of-ascension/.)

It is Gaias desire and intention that her planetary body be restored to its original health and beauty and Earths humankind flourish in abundance and live in harmony with each other and all of Nature. And so it shall be! Planetary ascensionthe world transformation process that you went to Earth to assist inis assured! Personal ascension is a choice that each person makes. (Matthew's Message, Oct. 19, 2015.)

It is time for silence and trust. Give yourselves permission to do absolutely nothing and just be. Old concepts bind mankind to the belief that time spent doing nothing reflects laziness. The result is a world full of people racing through each day who have lost contact with and awareness of their own quiet place of rest and renewal within. Spend time in nature even if only a small park in the city. Seek out the places where you can simply be, without distractions and noise. Learn to just listen to the silence.

In the midst of busy family and working life, finding quiet time is often very difficult. However, if you make the effort, you will soon discover yourself able to center more easily and quickly and that you carry a peace with you throughout your day. There are those who get up in the middle of the night for contemplation and meditation because that is their only quiet time. (The Arcturian Group, Sept. 20, 2015.)

Where possible rest easy now and take everything in your stride, and we know it is easier said than done. Your worries will soon be a thing of the past when you will be able to fully enjoy your life. (SaLuSa, Sept. 18, 2015.)

The creation of a new realitydoesnt mean that the world around you will suddenly be transformed and new. It signifies that your consciousness, beliefs andperspectives will alter and shift, giving the impression, as well as allowing you, to recreate and recognise your reality outside ofyou in new ways. ...

This can be labelled Ascension or Enlightenment and yet it issomething which has very rarely been experienced on the Earth before the merging and marriage of the physical body withthe divine essence. You are already experiencing this. You know you are a soul in a physical body. However, greater aspects ofthe soul will download into your physical body causing your body to advance, becoming its greatest potential. This means yourbody will no longer be restricted developing new abilities, skills and freedom. ...

Archangel Michael is also [wishing to share] with you [about] the journey which is being taken by all to become aDivine Human upon the Earth; the marriage of the Divine Consciousness with the physical body, which is transforming into adivine physical body....

Observe your body, it is charged with light and transforming beyond your imagination. Observe your heart and mind, they areopen and clear, as the consciousness of the Creator penetrates. My energy is here always to guide you. Remember nothing onthe Earth can create an identity for you; your true identity is your soul and the Creator. You know this in your mind, now is thetime to experience it! ("Celestial White Beings and Archangel Michael: The Journey of the Divine Human, Channelled through Natalie Glasson.September 18, 2015. http://www.omna.org/Latest_Free_Weekly_Message.html.)

The collective decision has already been made by humanity to awaken! You know that, because, along with the fact that at the depths of your beingness that knowledge is eternally embedded, you have also been told by unimpeachable sources on numerous occasions that this is so. Humanity is very firmly established on the path to its awakening from which there is no turning back, no retreat. You have a phrase: the tipping point. Humanity is at that point. The dark ones, the ones you frequently refer to as the Dark Cabal, are desperately trying to prevent the balance from shifting out of their control, but they have lost their footing, they have lost their grip, and the balance has shifted irrevocably towards the Light.

The fact that so many appear to be so dumbly asleep is rather like in the well known fairy tale The Sleeping Beauty, where the whole court fell asleep at the moment that the princess did. When the prince arrives and kisses her everyone awakens, and that is the tipping point. The decision to awaken was taken when the prince began to hack his way through the jungle of undergrowth, and having finally reached the castle he will shortly find the princess, and as she responds to his kiss Divine Grace and wakes up so will everyone else. (Jesus through John Smallman, Feb. 11, 2015.)

From 2014

Steve Beckow: ...What about what you have described as the ignition? What is the ignition, and approximately, just approximately, when might that be occurring? Is that in the near future, or?

AAM: Yes, it is.

... Ignition is the feeling, the awareness, the understanding and many of you already have this that you are love, that you are completely in your heart consciousness, that you are in the joy even when there appears to be a morass of chaos around you, and that your focus is completely on creation, the creation of the new.

And it is the turning of a switch, of the collective. ("Archangel Michael: Ignition is the Awareness that You Are Love," channeled by Linda Dillon, October 28, 2014, http://goo.gl/29ZGhf.)

We are in the process of shifting our reality. We say we for all dimensions, realities and worlds are shifting into a higher frequency of expression. As it is for the least, it is for the greatest.

Hence, as the third/fourth dimension releases itself from the shackles of the third dimensional reality of illusion and shifts into the fifth dimension of the light of cosmic truth, all the dimensions above the fifth also shift into their next higher dimensional expression.

As we make this transition, there is a release, a letting go, of what has been our predominant expression of self. For example, we Arcturians are expanding our baseline frequency from the eighth through tenth dimensions into the eleventh and twelfth dimensions.

In the same manner, your human baseline frequency will shift form the third/fourth dimension into the fifth dimension, which was once your higher expression of SELF. In the case of Earth, the third/fourth dimensions will gradually become less and less inhabitable.

You will find that just as it once took effort to consciously experience the fifth dimension, it will become increasingly difficult to consciously experience the third/fourth dimension. Even now, your consciousness may appear to be wandering off into what appears to be a trancelike state. This trancelike state feels so natural that you do not want to leave it.

Also, as this shift continually accelerates your consciousness, you will gain a new perspective on your physical world. This higher viewpoint will enable you to perceive your 3D reality from up above it rather than stuck within it. In other words, you will be able observe your ego from your Higher SELF.

Once your Multidimensional SELF is in charge, you will be able to make some important decisions that make YOU the creator of your life. You will also become aware of many of your higher dimensional, alternate or parallel realities.

While you are swimming in the illusion of the third dimension, you see only what surrounds you. However, as you regain a higher perspective of your life, many of your priorities will change. Your ego will no longer tell you to let go of your meditations and creative expression so that you can get back to the business of your real life.

With your Higher SELF at the helm, you will realize that what you have perceived as just your imagination is actually your real life. Then slowly, or quickly, you will want to let go of many of our your lower frequency chores, responsibilities and jobs.

In this manner, you can more easily remain in the unconditional light and love of the fifth dimension. Of course you will still take care of 3D business, but your priorities will greatly alter as your consciousness expands into the higher dimensions. (Sue Lie, "Being A Multidimensional Leader," Aug. 2014, at http://www.multidimensions.com/multidimensional-leadership-school/.)

As you continue your Ascension process, you will move out of alignment with the third-dimensional holographic projection of Earth and into alignment with Gaias true Planetary SELF in the fifth dimension and beyond. In your other Ascension lives all of you (even those who are now lost in darkness) have had Ascension experiences.

Ascension does not make you a Saint. Ascension merely means that you have returned your consciousness to the frequencies of your Multidimensional SELF that resonate above the illusions of the third/fourth dimensional realities. What is different in your present timeline is that the third/fourth dimensional holographic projection of Earth is closing. Gaia and all Her inhabitants are returning to their true Multidimensional SELF. ("Arcturian Message Keeping the Lights ON, channelled by Suzanne Lie, August 6, 2014 at http://suzanneliephd.blogspot.co.uk/.)

Eventually some souls whose negative deeds dropped them from the light used their free will to downgrade the DNA of newer, less experienced civilizations. The changes made dense bodies with DNA containing electrons, which have much less light and vibrate at much lower frequencies than photons. The reduction in light caused corresponding reductions in those civilizations consciousness, brain functioning and life span. They lost all knowledge of their Beginnings, their weakened bodies were vulnerable to disease, and their temperaments included fear and all of its negative byproducts like cruelty, greed, anger, lust for power, unjustness, impoverishment, divisiveness and hatredhatred is not the opposite of love, it is the absence of love, or light. Those are the conditions of third density civilizations.

It is not that no bodies on Earth have photons, and an unimaginable quantity is in the atmosphere. But electrons are dominant in the vast majority of your populacethat is why they are lagging in awakening spiritually and consciouslyand throughout your worldthat is why you have electric and electronic appliances and pay to use them instead of having photons free energy. The way to ascend into planes where photons outnumber electrons is by increasing the amount of light in the collective consciousness.

Energy is neutral. It is the thought forms that get attached to energy streamers that are positivewith lightor negativewithout light. The forms are created by every beings thoughts, feelings and actions, and collectively those determine a civilizations density, or spiritual and conscious evolvement status. That is one universal definition of density; the other is mass or the location of a mass, and the two dont necessarily go together. That is why Earth, a fifth density soul spiritually and consciously, can be in the initial stages of fourth density location-wise and most of her people are at third density evolvement status. Animals and plants are absorbing more light than most of humankind; at this moment, the light in people varies from brilliant to just enough to keep bodies alive.

Now then, every person and every thing in your world emits vibrations in consonance with each forms consciousness level, and that is determined by the amount of light in each. The atoms in inanimate objectssay a pebble, football, nail and chairhave minimal consciousness; exceptions are crystals and gold, which have a high degree. The consciousness level of soil is higher than objects and so is that of slugs, worms and short-lived insects; higher on the scale are the species of insects that have a well-developed hierarchy and clearly-defined working system within it.

The plant kingdom has a very high level of consciousness. Trees have intelligence and emotions that few people would even consider possible and extend far beyond the acorn that knows how to become a mighty oak and the apple seed that knows how to bear fruit. Tiny flower seeds know their colors and whether to blossom for a season or flourish year after year. The generally unseen, therefore unknown souls in the Devic kingdom, who work hand-in-hand with all of Nature, also are highly advanced consciously and emotionally.

Humans and other high orders in the animal kingdom have the highest level of consciousnessinstinct, intuition, memory, learning and reasoning capability, and the widest range of feelingsbut only humankind also is endowed with conscience and Creators gift of free will. Although each living being and each inanimate thing serves a purpose in the evolutionary process of all, it is the human population that sets the pace.

Whereas all other life forms on Earth operate within their respective innate guidelines that work in harmony with Nature, people can choose to act in godly ways or not, to heed conscience or not; and their collective choices determine the civilizations evolvement status. As humankind evolves via the light in spiritual and conscious awareness, so do all the other forms on the planet, and the collective vibratory emissions advance the entire world. And, as a world advances, life becomes increasingly simpler and joyous! It is only in third densitys lower vibrations that a civilization creates all the complexities born of negativity. (Matthew's Message, Aug. 3, 2014.)

What Ascension is about ... is about not being stuck in your body, but having the integration of all parts of your being, and having it anchored in your body in such outrageous, miraculous joy that you want to be in body; that it isnt a struggle or an obligation, or even a responsibility, it is simply joy. (Archangel Michael: You are God Having an Experience of You, June 27, 2014, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/06/27/archangel-michael-you-are-god-having-an-experience-of-you/.)

It is the awakened human that acknowledges that they are inter-galactic or galactic; that they are part angelic or archangelic; that they are sheer energy and a spark of life; that they have been the most grievous sinner and the most beatific saint. It is that integration into the aware human being, and from that place of being able to create Nova Earth, because what we can only refer to as the old human, the human had very dim memory and was not the human that decided to take this leap of faith into Ascension. (Archangel Michael: You are God Having an Experience of You, June 27, 2014, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/06/27/archangel-michael-you-are-god-having-an-experience-of-you/.)

So you, in your consciousness, right now, are realizing that Source, that Mother/Father/God/One, however you are thinking about it, is having the experience of you in all those forms integrated into your body and more specifically your expanded field, because that is truly who you are. And at the same time you are having an experience of God no, not full reunion, but you are experiencing the love and the connection, the joy, the sweetness, the elevation. So you are returning to the original design. (Archangel Michael: You are God Having an Experience of You, June 27, 2014, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/06/27/archangel-michael-you-are-god-having-an-experience-of-you/.)

But many of you came to think that you were as powerful a creator and forgot the piece that you were of creation. Because the angelics are of creation. There is no veil or illusion of that separation.

And that is what you are all now going through remembering. That is truly what a very significant part of the renewal and the Ascension process is about. It is remembering and re-embracing the fact that you are nothing more than love, and that you have always been connected to the Mother/Father/One, however you conceive of it, whatever your culture or your background or your religious patterning has been. ("Archangel Michael: You are God Having an Experience of You," channeled by Linda Dillon, June 26, 2014, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/06/27/archangel-michael-you-are-god-having-an-experience-of-you.)

The Arcturians: Its about the frequency of consciousness. That is the protection against the dark ones getting just as much [as lightworkers] and having the same thing happen. The players change but the light and dark still exist. This is a leg-up out of polarity.

Steve: So really we should be concentrating on our frequency. Thats how important it is.

A: Whatever anyone believes about anything, our grounded ones [ground crew] are best served by concentrating on their frequency.

Because as they expand their frequency, they contribute that to the Earth. And then the Earth expands the frequency. And as the Earth expands her frequency, those of a very dense frequency will not be able to tolerate this Earth. They will get diseased. They will die. They will not be able to live. It will be too high of a light for them to tolerate.

They [the off-planet controllers of the dark] will have to pull their members up and take them off to a darker planet. (The Arcturtians through Sue Lie, "Did the Illuminati Bring Down Both Malaysian Planes?" Ascension occurs within your consciousness, so that your perceptions can expand far beyond your Earth vessels third dimensional reality. As you continue your Ascension process, you will move out of alignment with Earths third-dimensional holographic projection and into alignment with Gaias true Planetary SELF in the fifth dimension and beyond.

In your other Ascension lives, as all of you even those who are now lost in darkness have had Ascension experiences, Ascension does not make you a Saint. Ascension merely means that you have returned your consciousness to the frequencies of your Multidimensional SELF that resonate above the illusions of the third/fourth dimensional realities. On Earth there are challenges all of the time and whilst you learn them the hard way, it is also the quickest way to progress. Remember that you always have your helpers around you, and they are ready to assist you when help is needed. However, it is not their place to impose themselves upon you, and you need to ask for help to get a response. It may not always be exactly as you desire and remember that there is always your life plan to consider. Certainly you have freewill, but at the same time you have undertaken a certain life plan that is your path for any one incarnation. It is to ensure that you progress in a sensible manner as quickly as possible. However, you can always have further experiences if needed, and these can cover any area of your life plan that has not been successful. (SaLuSa, May 23, 2014.)

Now let us back up even a little more. Many, we would suggest thousands and thousands and thousands of people have ascended and have had the experience of the ecstasy, the bliss, and the significant shift within their very cores insofar as they do not see or experience being human or being in Gaia in the way that they had previously. Let me explain.

These souls and yes, they are everyday people; they are not those who have been vying for sainthood, but they acknowledge their mastery, and part of each of you ascending is acknowledging your mastery but they have basically gone through the Ascension portal.

They are primarily way-showers. They have anchored in the higher dimensional energy Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and so on.

They have what we have called made a U-turn and are still exhibiting on planet, in form, in everyday reality, because their promise as part of their sacred journey, and as part of the collectives commitment, decision is that they would be the way-showers for the rest of humanity.

So they have, shall we say, Ascension Lite, insofar as that they have experienced the bliss, the higher realms. They have released the sense of restriction. They have embraced the sense of their inter-dimensionality, their ability to create and co-create.

Now, each individual is having, and will have, a different experience of Ascension. Now I am going to describe, in general terms, what this Ascension looks, feels like and what that experience is like. But it does not mean, even though you come as a collective, it does not mean that each of you perceives and experiences this sacred union, the rising up through a higher-dimensional realm, in the same way...

When you ascend, it is important that you anchor with and on Gaia. Otherwise your feet, quite literally, are not on the ground. So when people can experience and go, jump, to the higher dimensions available within the human experience, it is important in the Ascension, both individual and collective, that you stay connected with Gaia.

Think of yourself as a helium balloon and Gaia is holding your string. So, as you ascend you will be at this time within the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, brushing the Eighth, brushing the Third, but not really in those dimensions. So for people to think that they are going to ascend and simply go directly to the Eleventh or Twelfth would not be fully correct.

Now, once you have done your Ascension, are you free to move about? Of course you are. But the building and the creation of Nova Earth and we are talking about the human piece of Nova Earth, the human co-creation of Nova Earth, because the kingdoms and Gaia are already creating Nova Earth, and they are already participating in the higher dimensional reality but if you have your mission and purpose to assist, or desire to assist in the anchoring of what you, my friend, and I have called the Golden Age of Gaia, then you are primarily going to anchor in the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh dimension.

Now, at some future date will there be a further Ascension? Yes, she is already inching up, as it were. And that will occur. And yes, there will be some who, once they have completed their commitment, shall we say, to the Mother, of Ascension in form and the ripple effect throughout the multiverse, the anchoring, the full anchoring of the love, then they may say, Well, I think now I am going to primarily go back to my comfort zone, or my home zone of an alternate dimension. That is fine.

But the fulfillment of the promise of this phase of the Mothers plan is for the humans to accompany Gaia and all into the higher dimensional reality, and particularly into the love. ("Archangel Michael: You are About To Reach Ascension," channeled by Linda Dillon, May 15, 2014, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/05/18/archangel-michael-you-are-about-to-reach-ascension/.)

Please do know that Ascension is not an event that is happening on a certain day or a specific date, like for example a birthday party that is taking place on a certain date and that if you are too late on this party that you cannot participate in its joy of the moment, or that if it is even possible to be too late for it.

Ascension is not an event that can be postponed or something that could not go through, for it is an ongoing process that takes place every single day, every single second of your existence. It is your cells, your being, your every now moment of change and integration, realization, growth, insights.

Ascension is taking place within you every now moment of your existence, it is in laughter, it is in joy, it is in bliss, it is in love, it is in meditation, participation in love, it is Self Love, acceptance, allowance, inner knowing, wisdom, freedom, expansion, it is all of the beauty within you reflected on the outside of the world. It is the knowing of, and the realization that you ARE GOD, that you are Divine, that you are consciousness, that you are All That Is. It is the embracing of all of your multifaceted features and the being that you are in the now and in all of your existence.

Ascension is liberty, respect, your inner temple and sun into this being. It is all that you have dreamed of and yearned for and it is YOU. So as YOU are every day, every now moment in this existence, as you ARE existence and consciousness it is YOU that you yearn for from the heart and so that makes your Ascension in its entire being. BE your Ascension by Being, and Ascension will be every now moment. It will never be too late nor will it ever be postponed nor canceled for it is always YOU as YOU are infinite and existing. If you see that Ascension is you, you are already free. ("Saint Germain: Ascension is YOU," channeled by Mline Lafont, April 20, 2013 at http://pleiadedolphininfos.blogspot.com/.)

The dark night of the soul is the final cleansing that must occur before you can live within the NOW of Ascension. This dark night of the soul is when you go through your daily life being fully aware of what you are doing wrong, aware of your fear, aware of your anger, aware of your pain.
