Dr. Nguyen will be joining Texas Neurology at its new location in Richardson on the Methodist Richardson Campus.

Dr. Nguyen, a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, practices general Neurology with fellowship trained specialization in electro-diagnostics. He received his medical degree through the combined Junior Honors Medical Program at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine (UF COM). He completed neurology residency at UT Health, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Following fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Nguyen has practiced in the Dallas MetroPlex. He has authored several publications which have appeared in prestigious medical journals. He is affiliated with Methodist Richardson Medical Center and Baylor Garland. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching golf and refining his culinary skills.

In its October 2014 issue, D Magazine published the results of a survey conducted among 10,784 local doctors who were invited to cast their votes for the Best Doctors in Dallas. In the confidential poll, doctors were asked to name three physicians they would send their parents or loved ones to.

Only those with a valid Texas medical license were eligible. An outside marketing firm tallied the results, and a panel of esteemed local physicians and D staff reviewed the list prior to publication. The list was designed with the patient in mind; therefore, under the guidance of the panel, the list did not include specialties in which the patient has little or no say, such as anesthesiology or pathology. They also excluded pediatrics which is vast enough to warrant its own special feature.
