Arnie to play AGING cyborg in new Terminator film

He famously said he'll be back and true to form Arnie is set to reprise his role as the Terminator in Terminator: Genesis, the latest instalment in the successful movie franchise.

Schwarzenegger, who appeared in the first three films but not in 2009's Terminator Salvation (well, the CGI thing aside), will play an aging T-800 - we know, aging robot?

Speaking to MTV, the 66-year-old said: "It will be challenging because it will be a new director, and it will be a really action packed movie," adding, "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath.

"It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

Shooting for the film starts in April and it is due to be released in July 2015.

"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was Governor," Schwarzenegger continued. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit. But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific."

The fifth Terminator film will also star Aussie actor Jai Courtney and Game of Thrones hottie Emilia Clarke.
