Liberty Ross not hiding after Kristen Stewart cheating scandal

Liberty Ross is refusing to cower at home and hide from the Hollywood scandal over her director husband Rupert Sanders affair with Twilight star Kristen Stewart.

On Wednesday night, Ross stepped out without her wedding ring to the LA premiere of Lawless. She went with brother Atticus Ross, a member of rock band Nine Inch Nails. Observers said she looked gorgeous and relaxed," at the DeLeon Tequila event also attended by the movies stars, Shia LeBeouf and Guy Pearce.

Liberty, a model and mother of two, is friends with Susie Bick, the wife of Lawless writer and composer Nick Cave.

After Sanders was caught on camera last month kissing Stewart, who starred in the Sanders- directed Snow White and the Huntsman, friends tell us Ross is refusing to let his infidelity tear her apart.

She wont hide at home, a source tells us. Liberty has shown incredible grace going through a difficult situation where all the intimate details are very public.

Friends say Ross and Sanders are having marriage counseling, and he is begging her to forgive him. But Liberty is taking her time to work out her feelings and to ultimately decide what would be best for their kids.

She is a very emotionally smart woman. She knows she can take her time and make her own decision, one that would be the best for her and her family, and not be persuaded by what other people, and the media, think of her and the situation, a source told us.

Our source added that its still unclear whether the couple will reconcile. One thing that is clear is that before this, Rupert and Liberty had a wonderful relationship . . . One affair does not erase a 10-year history and many shared experiences together. It is just whether they are strong enough to weather it.

Liberty Ross Not Wearing Wedding Ring, Stuns on First Red Carpet Since Rupert Sanders' Affair

No more tears!

While Robert Pattinson yukked it up with Jimmy Kimmel, the scorned woman in the Kristen Stewart-Rupert Sanders saga, Liberty Ross, hit the town for the Hollywood premiere of Lawless hosted by DeLeon Tequila Wednesday.

Looking serene and fresh-faced, the British model, 33, wore a silky green button-down shirt, skinny black pants, and black booties on her very first red carpet since her husband's affair -- but she declined to wear her wedding ring to the event, which she attended with her brother, Nine Inch Nails musician Atticus Ross.

PHOTOS: Kristen and Rupert's affair

After the screening of the film (starring Shia Labeouf and Guy Pearce) at the Arclight Theater, Ross headed to hotspot Eden for the DeLeon Tequila-hosted after party -- where she and her brother stayed lowkey, chatting with Australian rocker Nick Cave and other pals.

According to an observer, Ross -- whose surprise appearance was the buzz of the premiere -- spent most of the bash sipping on a drink and chatting quietly with her brother.

Together with Snow White and the Huntsman director Sanders, 41, for 15 years, Ross is mom to Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5. Ross learned of Sanders' July 17 fling with Stewart, 22, the week before Us Weekly's exclusive photos emerged. "She was coming to terms with it," a source told Us.

"It's too early to tell what will happen with them," the source added.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- English model-actress Liberty Ross appeared at the Hollywood premiere of director John Hillcoat's Prohibition-era gangster film "Lawless" without her husband.

Ross, 34, was also not wearing a wedding band at the Wednesday night red-carpet ArcLight Cinemas screening, tabloid TV entertainment news Web site HollyScoop reported.

Ross' director-husband Rupert Sanders, 41, was shown in photos published by gossip magazine Us Weekly last month cheating on Ross with 22-year-old actress Kristen Stewart, prompting Stewart to issue a public apology.

Stewart and Ross were both in Sanders' fantasy film "Snow White and the Huntsman," which was released in the United States June 1.

In the film, Stewart played Snow White. Ross played Queen Eleanor, Snow White's mother.

Liberty Ross Walks Red Carpet Alone – Who She Could Date Next

Liberty Ross doesn't care to play the part of a woman scorned by her cheating husband.

The 33-year-old British model was in high spirits this week as she attended the premiere for "Lawless" in L.A. She walked the red carpet alone for the first time since the news broke about her husband Rupert Sanders having an affair with Kristen Stewart.

Liberty looked stunning on the red carpet in a casual look complete with a green silk blouse, black leggings, and sexy black ankle boots. She is still not wearing her wedding ring, a sign that the relationship between her and Rupert won't be repairing itself anytime soon.

Between Liberty's sexy red carpet appearances and Rob's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" joking about the breakup it looks like these two are trying to take the scandal in stride.

Now that Rupert may be out of the picture who could she date next? We have a few ideas.

Shia LaBeouf

Now that the model is free to do as she pleases she should have some fun around Hollywood and who better to take out on the town than Shia? Liberty went to Shia's premiere of "Lawless" this week and we think with his good looks, awesome sense of humor, and undeniable talent he'd be a great rebound for Liberty.

Robert Pattinson

With everything that has happened we don't really think these two should be jumping into anything serious with anyone for awhile BUT just how awesome would it be for these two to casually go out together? With their media appearances it's clear they're trying to remain positive and lighthearted over the situation while we see Kristen Stewart looking down and depressed. It would only give Kristen a taste of her own medicine for Rob and Liberty to enjoy a night out together.

Liberty Mines Announces Positive Preliminary Economic Assessment on its Hart Nickel Project

TSX: LBE

TORONTO , Aug. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Liberty Mines Inc. (LBE.TO) ("Liberty" or the "Company") today announced that a positive preliminary economic assessment has been completed for its Hart Project, a nickel deposit located in Timmins Ontario, and approximately five kilometers from the Company's Redstone mill. The preliminary economic assessment was prepared by Stantec Consulting. All dollar amounts are in Canadian currency. A final version of the Preliminary Economic Assessment will be filed on SEDAR within 45 days as required.

Preliminary Economic Assessment Study Highlights

"We are very encouraged by the positive results of the Preliminary Economic Assessment and our prospects for the Hart Project," said Chris Stewart , President and CEO of Liberty Mines Inc. "The PEA suggests that the Hart Project has the potential to become economically viable, generate positive cash flow, and take advantage of the available capacity at our Redstone Mill. Recent drill results, although preliminary at this time, also suggest that the deposit has the potential for mineralization expansion at depth and stronger economics."

Mr. Stewart added, "With the only operating mill in the Shaw Dome Region, a large land package that includes the Hart East Deposit whose initial drill results demonstrated the potential for a significant mineralized zone, as well as the opportunity for property consolidation in the region, we believe that Liberty's prospects are extremely strong over the long term, particularly as the price of nickel recovers."

Hart Project Description The Hart Project will be a stand-alone underground mine used for the extraction of nickel ore, and will share synergies with Liberty's existing assets and facilities. Underground production will be done primarily via long-hole mining and transported to surface using diesel trucks. The Hart Mine is expected to produce an average of 750 tonnes of nickel ore per day throughout its 8 year life of mine.

The Preliminary Economic Assessment assumes that construction of the mine will begin in 2013 and will reach a steady rate of production by 2017.

In the city where she played high school ball, Cappie Pondexter helped the New York Liberty boost their playoff hopes in their last game.

The league's second-highest scorer will try to deliver again in the place where she started her WNBA career.

Pondexter and the Liberty look to extend the Phoenix Mercury's team-record losing streak to nine Thursday night when the clubs meet for the first time in 2012.

Loser of four of five heading into Tuesday's game at Chicago, New York (8-13) won 77-67 to move within one-half game of the Sky for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Pondexter, the first two-time Ms. Illinois basketball while at Marshall High School, scored 25 points to bump her average to 20.3.

"Obviously it's important because you have a buildup of excitement from being home, but more importantly we needed this win to inch closer to the playoffs,'' she said after New York improved to 1-1 on its five-game trip.

Pondexter, who won WNBA titles with the Mercury in 2007 and 2009, returns to Phoenix for the third time since being dealt to New York in a three-team swap in 2010 that brought Candice Dupree to the Mercury.

In New York's last game in the desert, Pondexter scored 17 of her 25 points in the final 6:32 of a 74-70 victory Aug. 23.

It was a far better result than in her first trip to Phoenix as a visiting player, as she was ejected in the third quarter of a 97-82 loss July 3, 2010, for smacking Penny Taylor in the face on a layup attempt.

The Mercury (4-17) have been dealing with plenty of frustration as they've gone winless since June 29 and are one game ahead of Tulsa - owner of the league's worst record.

Pondexter, Pierson lead Liberty past Sky

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) -- Cappie Pondexter scored 25 points and Plenette Pierson added 21 as the New York Liberty beat the Chicago Sky 77-67 Tuesday night.

The Liberty (8-13) saw an 18-point second half lead trimmed to six early in the fourth quarter, then rebuilt a double-digit advantage and maintained it the rest of the way. New York pulled one-half game behind Chicago for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

''The team we were competing for the playoff spot is Chicago,'' Liberty coach John Whisenant said. ''So getting a win here was very important to us, trying to claw our way back into the playoff race.''

Sylvia Fowles scored 18 points, Shay Murphy had 16 and Epiphanny Prince added 10 for the Sky (8-12), who lost their seventh straight and 11th in 12.

Prince, playing in her third game since returning from a foot injury, was carried off the court with 4:51 to play after rolling her right ankle. She didn't return, but was seen standing courtside through the final minutes.

Fowles and Cash had six points apiece as Chicago led for all but the opening seconds on the way to a 21-16 after one quarter. Pierson paced New York with eight points.

Pondexter scored back-to-back buckets over a 21-second span late in the second quarter to give the Liberty their first lead since the opening minute. It was part of an 13-0 run that helped New York to a 40-32 halftime lead. Pondexter, who grew up in Chicago, had eight points in the period.

''Obviously it's important because you have a buildup of excitement from being home, but more importantly we needed this win to inch closer to the playoffs,'' she said.

The Liberty more than doubled the lead in the third quarter behind 12 points from Pondexter. New York led 61-43 with 1:23 remaining before Chicago pulled within 12 entering the final period.

''We have to put together longer stretches of defense,'' Sky coach Pokey Chatman said. ''You know what New York is going to bring. It starts with Cappie (Pondexter). She is the head of the snake and we didn't do a very good job of cutting that off. Plenette (Pierson) is back and healthy. They made plays.''

First Liberty Power Corp. Property and Strategic Focus Update

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --First Liberty Power Corp. (FLPC) (the "Company") is pleased to announce an update on the Company's properties, and also our expanded plan for the exploration, development, mining and refining of strategic industrial metals in the USA.

Currently, we have a 95% option interest in two lithium brine properties; these properties are in a stage of development ranging from intermediate to advanced exploration with an ultimate goal to extract and refine Lithium brine. This type of deposit is globally recognized as the most economic and productive means of producing lithium. Lithium and its compounds have several fundamental commercial applications, including heat-resistant glass and ceramics, greases, high strength-to-weight alloys, pharmaceuticals, thermoplastic, air treatment, and, most importantly for growth, lithium ion batteries.

Our first property, Lida Valley with 58 Placer Claims / 9,280 acres, has completed three exploration stages to date. We have identified a deep-seated basin structure with high potential lithium enrichment, together with conductive zones which are an indicator of lithium-bearing brines. Our latest acquisition, Smoky Valley with 70 Placer Claims / 11,200 acres, has two exploration stages complete, with basin structure already demonstrated, and geo-magnetics planned through 2012. Both properties are in close proximity to the only US based producing lithium operation - Chemetall Foote which has been producing for over 40 years at a rate of approximately 5,000 LCE tonnes per year. Once the exploration stages on the properties are successfully completed and the properties are proven for production, both operations will be consolidated and the drill program to prove lithium brine presence will begin. First Liberty will work to implement a production plan immediately thereafter.

First Liberty has begun to expand its scope beyond lithium into other minerals of critical strategic importance. As part of our expanded strategic focus, one of First Liberty's core objectives is to ensure a strong US domestic supply of mineral elements that are critical to current and emerging technologies. It is widely recognized that the United States must work to increase the domestic supply of several critical elements to ensure security, particularly in alternative energy. These elements include Vanadium, Uranium, Antimony, Graphite, Tin, Lead, and certain Rare Earth and Platinum Metal Group elements. With this in mind, we are seeking to complement our current mid and long-term exploration programs with near term production opportunities to meet this high demand.

CEO Don Nicholson emphasized in a statement, "As the Company moves into a high growth phase, I would like to stress the importance of our two Lithium brine properties for our mid-term production plans, and we are pleased that they are advancing successfully through the resource verification stages. Furthermore, we are working diligently on investigating and evaluating properties that contain the critical elements we see as being extremely important for our further growth. The leadership of this Company has targeted 2012 as a priority period to acquire near and mid-term production properties that have a benchmark of delivering high-percentage returns to our investors and shareholders."

About UsFirst Liberty is a Nevada based mineral exploration company with a focus on the exploration, development, mining and refining of strategic industrial metals in the USA. With a primary focus on lithium exploration, it is our vision to also significantly contribute towards ensuring a domestic supply of those mineral elements that are critical to current and emerging technologies. We will continue assembling a portfolio of properties and interests in several key areas, ranging in developmental to advanced stage exploration to production ready.

Liberty Silver Extends Offer for Sennen Resources

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2012) - Liberty Silver Corp. (LSL.TO)(LBSV) announced today that it is extending its offer for all the issued and outstanding common shares of Sennen Resources Ltd. until 9 p.m. Toronto time on Monday, September 10, 2012.

"We remain confident that tendering to our offer represents the best value for Sennen shareholders rather than maintaining Sennen's status quo", Geoff Browne, Liberty Silver's chairman and chief executive officer said. "Sennen's board formed a special committee and hired financial and legal advisers more than a month ago to examine our offer. The special committee has yet to come up with a superior - or indeed, any - alternative proposal."

Under Liberty Silver's offer, Sennen shareholders will receive 0.28 of a Liberty Silver common share for each Sennen common share. The exchange ratio, at the time the offer was made, represented an implied price of $0.20 per Sennen share.

The offer represents a premium of 47.3% to the 20-day volume weighted average trading price ended July 13, 2012, being $0.135. This is also higher than the 34.8% average take-over bid premium paid for mining companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange over the past 12 months. The offer is valued at approximately $13.36 million, an amount that is expected to exceed Sennen's net cash reserves when the proposed transaction closes.

Mr. Browne added: "The combination of Sennen's cash resources and Liberty Silver's skilled management team and prudent risk-mitigation strategy will enable us to advance the Trinity Silver project, as well as identify other low-risk opportunities to the benefit of shareholders of both our companies.

"With the recent acquisition of the Hi Ho properties, we have met yet another milestone. As promised, we have added significant upside to our established resource, moved very close to fulfilling our earn-in requirements, and further de-risked the project. We are now planning the best path towards re-starting production."

Other benefits of Liberty Silver's offer include:

Setting the Record Straight

Liberty Silver also wishes to correct misleading allegations contained in a press release issued by Sennen on August 20, 2012.

"Our directors have significant skin in the game, a clear indication of their confidence in Liberty Silver's business strategy and in Trinity Silver's bright prospects", Mr. Browne said.

Sennen Restates Reasons for Rejection of Liberty's Hostile Offer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2012) - Sennen Resources Ltd. (SN.V) ("Sennen" or "the Company") restates its reasons for recommending REJECTION of the Offer by Liberty Silver Corp. ("Liberty").

Do not tender your Sennen Shares to the Liberty Offer. Sennen Shareholders are reminded that the Board of Directors have recommended REJECTION of the Liberty Offer for the reasons set out in the Director's Circular dated July 30, 2012. There is no need for Sennen Shareholders to do anything to REJECT the Liberty Offer. Please refer to the Director's Circular, which is available on SEDAR, for more detailed reasons for REJECTION, and steps to take if you have already tendered your Sennen Shares.

Various Letters and News Releases issued by Liberty's management are replete with irrelevant statements and innumerable errors that demonstrate a lack of understanding of the industry in which they purport to operate.

In order to clarify matters Sennen restates the following:

Stated Ian Rozier, President and CEO of Sennen, "Liberty's Offer is an insult to the intelligence of Sennen Shareholders who understand that this is a clear case of the management and promoters of an OTC shell company with very little money and questionable assets trying to back their ludicrously overvalued paper into an established company with tangible assets-in this case Sennen and its treasury. As previously stated, the simple fact is that Sennen Shareholders are being asked to make a very high risk Private Placement of $13.5M into a junior explorer that the market, its own management, its directors, shareholders and promoters are apparently unwilling to do. Based on this we can only assume that they collectively agree with Sennen's management and directors as to the real value of Liberty Silver. We repeat once again, Liberty's Offer is of zero interest to Sennen's Board, management, as well as to shareholders representing a majority of the Company's shares, if indeed any of them."

Sennen's Board of Directors recommends Sennen Shareholders do NOT tender their Sennen Shares to the Liberty Offer and are reminded that the Board of Directors have recommended REJECTION of the Liberty Offer for reasons as set out in the Director's Circular dated July 30, 2012. There is no need for Sennen Shareholders to do anything to REJECT the Liberty Offer. Please refer to the Director's Circular, which is available on SEDAR, for more detailed reasons for REJECTION, and steps to take if you have already tendered your Sennen Shares.

Neither the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSXV) has reviewed, nor do they accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of, this release.
