Ducommun Incorporated (DCO) today reported that the Companys facility in Appleton, Wis., has met the AS9100 Rev. C quality management standard for the aerospace industry. The certification, awarded by third-party auditor BSI, confirms that the Appleton manufacturing complex has the quality controls in place necessary to meet the stringent, complex and unique demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry thus expanding its capabilities for the Company. Aerospace OEMs and end-users such as pilots can be assured that the electronic components from this Ducommun facility are produced with a quality management focus on areas directly impacting product safety and reliability.

The Appleton facility, part of Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, produces high-performance printed circuit board assemblies, including quick-turn prototyping services, and box-level and high-level electronic assemblies. The operation specializes in manufacturing for demanding environments and has also met the quality standards for ISO 9001:2008 certification, ISO 13485 certification and ANSI/ESD S20.20 certification.
