Vector Aerospace Showcases Expanded Civil Sector Capabilities at Helitech

Vector Aerospace, a leading provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has increased its presence at Helitech 2014 (Stand M 40). The event, which takes place in Amsterdam RAI from 14-16 October, will provide an international showcase for Vector's expanding range of capabilities in the civil and parapublic rotary wing sector.

Vector Aerospace in the UK now also operates as a Sikorsky approved Service Centre for the S-76 twin-engine medium helicopter platform, as well as having the capability to provide field support for the S-92 medium helicopter. Earlier this year Vector was awarded Part 21G accreditation by the European Aviation Safety Agency.

Vector's portfolio includes support for multi-type fleet operations, both at the operating bases and the company's own facilities around the world. Vector has the capability to design, install and support modifications and upgrades, including STCs, on a range of civil and military helicopter types, undertaking cockpit upgrades, defensive aids installation and complete rewiring.

Visitors to Helitech will also be able to engage with VectorAerospace Leasing Solutions (VALS), which offers a fleet of high-specification Oil & Gas and Utility configured Airbus Helicopters AS332L Super Pumas to the market on affordable short to medium-term leases. The lease program is supported by fully OEM-approved Bypass and Bypass Plus 'by-the-hour' support programmes.

Michael Tyrrell, Managing Director of Vector Aerospace UK commented: "Helitech provides us with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how our long established skills and experience in rotary wing MRO can benefit owners and operators across a broad spectrum of commercial aviation."
