Cris Cyborg talks major smack about Ronda Rousey and her mom

Ronda Rouseys mother, AnnMaria De Mars, recently went on an MMA radio show and said thatif her daughter ever fights Cris Cyborg, Ronda will break her arm. According to the MMA blog Bloody Elbow, De Mars, a former judo champion in her own right,added that she doubted the fight would take place becauseCris Cyborg has missed weight multiple times.

Rousey is the UFCs 135-pound champion, the heaviest weight class that the company has for women, and she has an 11-0 record. The 13-1 Cyborg, from Brazil, is the 145-pound champion of the all-women MMA company Invicta, although she has been known to weigh more than that.

There has been speculationthat the pair could perhaps meet in the middle, at 140, but De Mars said that if you have [Cyborg]fight at 140, shes going to show up at 145 or 150. De Mars also alluded to a2011 incident in which Cyborg tested positive for an anabolic steroid, saying that cast a shadow over all of the Invicta fighters results.

As for why she was so sure that Cyborg would not be able to prevent Rousey from taking her to the ground andputting her in an armbar, De Mars had this to say:

You know Ronda got a silver in the worlds, she got a bronze in the Olympics, shes won the junior worlds, shes won a lot of international Judo tournaments. And this is against women who have decades of experience trying to stop Olympic-level Judo players from throwing and armbarring them.

So saying that Cris Cyborg is somehow magically going to be able to do that when Rondas been training for this since shes 11? I dont think thats going to happen. I think the first time Ronda gets her hands on her shes going to knock her down and break her arm.

All of which brings us to Tuesday, when Cyborg posted a message on the MMAdiscussion board The Underground. The post included these comments:

I missed weight 1 time in 10 years. I dont know where she read this but I can guarantee I make 140lbs.

Invicta FC featherweight Cris Cyborg sure doesn't appreciate the opinions of Ronda Rousey's inner circle.

Cyborg slammed the UFC women's bantamweight champion's grappling coach Rener Gracie when hecommented on her history and now Rousey's mother is the target.

AnnMaria De Mars, Rousey's mother,spoke with Submission Radio earlier this week and had quite a few criticisms of Cyborg.

Comparing Cyborg's 'inflated record' to a play fight Rousey might have with her much younger sister, De Mars also attacked the Brazilian's legacy, saying her lonefailed drug test for the diuretic stanozolol brings her entire career into question.

"I almost feel like that's sort of like when you get a DUI," said De Mars. "That's probably not the only time you were driving drunk. So I'd say her whole record is under suspicion."

Then, De Mars explained that Rousey holds grudges and will break Cyborg's arm as soon as she can get her hands on her.

"You know Ronda got a silver in the world's," De Mars said. Well, Cyborg doesn't agree.
