Armstrong received a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. He held honorary doctorates from multiple universities. SPECIAL HONORS: Armstrong was a Fellow of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots and the Royal Aeronautical Society and an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the International Astronautics Federation. Armstrong was a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco. He served as a member of the National Commission on Space (1985 to 1986), as Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Commission on the Space Shuttle Challenger Accident (1986) and as Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee for the Peace Corps (1971 to 1973). Thank you for taking your time to watch this video. I will be attending college in the fall of 2013. I am a defensive player who loves to play with spin. Although, I can become offensive once the chance arises. I will chase down any ball and sometimes even dive on courts to get them. Tennis is a sport I love and will be honored to be able to play college tennis with a strong engineering program. I understand I am not the best player, but my passion and enthusiasm for the sport encourages me to strive to be better. I am for the most part self taught watching videos and . I am a quick learner and is currently working on the two handed backhand. I am eager to learn new skills and put in the necessary efforts and even more to achieve success. However, education does come as a priority before sports. African and South American lungfish are capable of surviving seasonal drying out of their habitats by burrowing into mud and estimating throughout the dry season. Changes in physiology allow it to slow its metabolism to as little as 1/60th of the normal metabolic rate, and protein waste is converted from ammonia to less-toxic urea (normally, lungfish excrete nitrogenous waste as ammonia directly into the water). Burrowing is seen in at least one group of fossil lungfish, the Gnathorhizidae. It has been proposed both that burrowing is plesiomorphic for lungfish, and that gnathorhizids are directly ancestral to modern Lepidosireniformes, but the similarity possibly is simply due to convergent or parallel evolution. Lungfish can be extremely long-lived. Aerobic exercise beats resistance training for weight loss

Researchers have found that aerobic exercise is better than resistance training when it comes to burning fat and weight loss.

The study which appears in the Journal of Applied Physiology compared three modes of working out: aerobic on it's own, resistance training and a combination of the two.

Aerobic exercise, including walking, running and swimming, came up trumps as the best way to lose weight.

Whilst resistant training has become popular recently, the research found that whilst it builds muscle mass, the effects of it on getting rid of fat stores are inconclusive.

Scientists closely monitored 234 overweight people on the three regimes and found that those who did aerobic training, and those with aerobic plus resistance lost more weight than the resistance only group.

Those doing aerobic spent on average 133 minutes a week training and lost weight, whilst the resistance group worked out for 188 minutes and didn't shed the pounds.

Leslie Willis, an exercise physiologist and the study's lead author, explained, 'No one type of exercise will be best for every health benefit.

However, it might be time to reconsider the conventional wisdom that resistance training alone can induce changes in body mass or fat mass due to an increase in metabolism, as our study found no change.'
