Immortal Technique – Death March *Lyrics – Video

I just uploaded this one around the same time as JMT's Death March because they're both good songs, different styles, but still good, enjoy Off of his latest MIXTAPE, Immortal Technique delivers an appetizer, that has the feel of a classical underground mixtape feel. It is not necessarily a "new" sound he's going for, just a mixtape, understand that man. Blast the doors to the game open and overthrow it

Immortal – The Rise of Darkness – Video

The rising moon so bleak and old Its darkened grin poisons my soul Mist pledges the darkness I ride this night - lustful with pride The lurking mist appears out here Breaths of evil fire through the snow This cloudless night smells of fear Keep my soul - dark and cold The rise of darkness in my sight Black forces bound to the moon Shadows creep under my skin Smell of fear - darkness is here All evil lurk under bleak skies Undead and restless are their souls Hatred lust aligned by the signs Blackened night - darkness rise Burning eyes watching upon me From the dark haunting side Caught between mighty winds Kingdom of evil find Demonic in this realm I haunt marked by the sign Caught between mighty winds Kingdom of evil find From the woods I see the rise of darkness In its deeps I'm on the other side From the woods I see the rise of darkness In its craft I'm on the other side I claim no ownership over Immortals music.

Can a blood test really tell you when you’ll die?

Interesting article in The Guardian newspaper in the UK about using telomeres, found in the cells of our bodies, could be used to predict the aging process within our own bodies. Here are some select experts from the article that I found interesting:

To start with, telomeres are "the protective caps ... on the ends of my chromosomes". Many scientists believe that aging occurs when the telomeres are shorten. I am not yet convinced this is true as the science is still inconclusive on this.
"a New York Times interview with 2009 Nobel prize-winner Carol Greider ... "The science really isn't there to tell us what the consequences are of your telomere length," she said.
Science has however been testing the effects of shortening and lengthening in telomeres on mice cells.
"the idea that telomeres can be "re-elongated" and, hence, that biological age can be reversed does not open the door to immortality – even if scientists have been able to extend a mouse's age by up to 40%. "That's a lot, but nobody has been able to make a mouse that is immortal,""
I would love to see testing on how our thoughts, and our "programming" have any effects on our telomere lengths.
