Now to begin our test fit well simply slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. With our hitch pin secured our cargo carrier is loaded to the vehicle and were ready to load our cargo. At this point well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Now from the closest point of the cargo carrier platform to the back of the vehicle is 12 inches and the cargo carrier will add an additional 36 inches of overall length to the vehicle.
