Memphis, TN-The AutoZone Liberty Bowl announced today that AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE: AZO), the leading retailer and a leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the United States, has extended its title sponsorship agreement with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl for six additional years. The extended agreement will begin with the 2014 college football season and continue through the 2019 season. AutoZone has been a key sponsor of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl for 20 years and has served as the title sponsor of the Bowl game since 2004.

In 2013, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl announced new, six-year partnerships with the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and Big 12 Conference, two of the top conferences in college football. The SEC versus Big 12 rivalry in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl will begin in 2014 and continue through 2019.

Each year, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl generates a local economic impact of $25-$30 million and brings thousands of visitors to Memphis. Since 2000, the AutoZone Liberty Bowls average annual attendance is over 57,000 spectators.
