Acquisition of open-source video communications technology and engineering team reinforces 8x8s technology stack and unique ability to deliver best-in-class meetings experience

The Jitsi technology further extends 8x8s cloud technology platform and adds to the companys video collaboration capabilities. 8x8 acquired Jitsis technology and engineering team from leading enterprise software company Atlassian.

8x8 is acquiring Jitsis set of modular open-source projects that allow businesses to easily build and deploy secure video communication solutions.
