Monument Valley

The tour of Monument Valley a seventeen mile loop over ungraded gravel roads took about 2 hours. The monuments are great too look at and if you have ever watched a western The Eiger Sanction Back to the Future 3 or even Forrest Gump you have seen a part of Monument Valley. We did take a short round trip back to Four Corners 200 miles as we were told that it was open Friday through Sunday.

She wasn't a very nice lady but she did have a lot of power. The Summer Palace is located around a lake shaped like

Wow if you ever have an opportunity to travel to the Grand Canyon take it. It lives up to all they hype. As soon as you step to the edge the canyon just opens up. It is hard to take it all in and the pictures are always different because the light changes. The train trip was great. We arrived at the depot and were entertained by a group of wildwest cowboys.
