Hope
WOW After three amazing days in Vancouver Julia and I are now comfortably settled into the Quality Inn in Hope BC. Full from our dinner at a diner called 'HOME'. It was pure comfort food. Julia chowed down on a hot turkey sandwich a mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and the largest homemade 'MM' cookie I've ever seen. I enjoyed a homemade tomato soup filled with veggies and a
2
Day 2 was an very unproductive thank you unreliable wifi. The good thing is that I now have 3 interviewees that I plan to talk to this coming week. I have come the decision that I will only stay in Akumal for a month instead of 2. The remaining time I will spend satisfying my curiosity by visiting the Mayan ruins that consume this beautiful place. Not much has happened in the last 24 hours so s
North Dakota and first day at South Dakota
Here are some of the pictures from North and South Dakota. Our first stop was at the Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l. Park in N. Dakota. A very different landscape from where we have been. This is what they call the bad lands. We spend a nice evening with Kevin and family and stayed at Ellsworth AFB a very nice RV park. A storm moved in that night and gave us some neat sky pictures. From there
Day 6 Grand Canyon National Park AZ
Had a great night's sleep and ready for the Grand Canyon. We left around 5 am and stopped at a great local place called Mary's Cafe. We had our usual hearty breakfast as we've been sticking to two meals a day. Just worked out that way. The ride to the Grand Canyon was in perfect weather. Cool enough for jackets but didn't need chaps. We went by miles and miles of property without power lines

PLANES TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES
Today we were in transit. We decided not to drive back to Cape Town after a chap told us that a flight was available out of East London which was about 2 and a half hours away. Roger didn't fancy the long drive to Cape Town even though the route is stunning.Well what can I say never believe distances told over a drink. This journey took us 4 hours. We disbelieved the Sat Nav and ended up lost. F
Nakalele
Seems like every Hawaiian word we come across has an extraordinary amount of vowels. Wheel of Fortune would make a killing here selling vowels by the dozen. We are on Maui for the wedding of Cathleenrsquos niece. It is quite beautiful here in paradise and while it is hot and humid it seems there is always a cool breeze. Today we spent the morning hiking to the Nakalele blowholes. The sma

I'm drawn to the clean air and promise of fun people who consider sarcasm something of a sport. I left for the airport 5 hours before my flight curse you G20 and got here from the Beach in 25 minutes which is pretty much unheard of. The traffic at 430 on a Friday was like 4

Welcome to Australia
God I hate this stupid laptop. I hate Microsoft. I loathe and detest everything to do with wifi.I also hate Virgin Blue for losing my luggage. I abhor the World Cup this time a curse onto the rotten spoiled playboys of Brasil Portugal Spain Chile and England. Now you may be getting the impression that I'm a bit jazzed up at the moment and you wouldn't be wrong after all my thyroid meds

Not only were all the hotel rooms taken but you couldnrsquot get tables in restaurants or cafes. My room was over the Wisdom Bar claiming they provide enlightenment through beer where they sold over 50 types of beers had loud live music every night and
