A short amature film I made in Luxembourg, with my amazing Couch-Surfing host Marthe, and her great friends Olivier and Nasa. The audio is not so great. The whole film production was just for fun: 2 days (nights) of filming on the road, using a regular digital camera. Winter Storm December 19-21 2012
Much of the US was blanketed by this large storm in December 2012. This NOAA #39;s GOES-13 satellite animation shows movement of the storm from Dec.19 through the morning of Dec. 21. The long line of clouds is a cold front associated with a low pressure center that moves in from the west as the animation begins and reaches northern Ohio by the time the animation ends on Dec. 21 at 9:45 am EST. NASA and NOAA satellites have been providing data on the powerful low pressure area that dropped more than a foot of snow in some Midwestern states and prompted many warnings and weather advisories. NASA's Aqua satellite captured an infrared image, while NOAA's GOES-13 satellite data was compiled into an animation that showed the movement of the storm system.

NASA recently unveiled a prototype spacesuit, the Z-1, to be used by astronauts on deep-space missions. Everyone with eyeballs immediately noticed the similarity between the agency’s idea and the character of Buzz Lightyear from Pixar’s Toy Story movies.
