Commie says Canada a country of "White Supremacists"

An Absolute Must See Video!

From Eric Dondero:

Canada lets in approximately 250,000 immigrants from Asian, African and Latin American nations a year. The number of immigrants to Canada from white northern European nations is miniscule. Yet this Canadian Communist, who the host suspects is receiving welfare subsidies from the Canadian government, says that Canada is made up of a bunch of "White Supremacists."

There is a to die for moment starting at the 7:00 minute mark. The host cannot contain his laughter at her absurdities.

Allowing Teens to Work bill passes Maine House

Republicans "Yea"; Democrats "No"

From Eric Dondero:

It was a virtual party-line vote in the Maine House 78 to 69, on a bill to allow Teenagers to work. The bill has already cleared the Senate.

The legislation would allow those over 16 to choose to work longer hours and gain bigger paychecks.

From the Bangor Daily News, May 18:

“It is time we left these decisions up to the moms and dads and these kids who are trying to improve their situation,” said Rep. David Burns, R-Whiting.

“Some of us on the committee believe that working teens and their parents are in the best position to decide how often they should work, just as they do for sports, TV viewing, etc. … ,” said Rep. Kerri Prescott, R-Topsham. (photo)

Democrats like Rep. Alan Casavant, a social sciences teacher in Biddeford argued that kids need to stay in school and not gain valuable experience or gain a good work ethic.

“In my view, as an active teacher, to go backward and allow more work is just going to create an even bigger problem,” Casavant said.

The bill is supported by the Maine Restaurant Assoc. and the Maine Innkeepers. Republican Governor Paul LePage, who supported it all along, will now sign it into law.

Euro-Banking colleague of Strauss-Kahn blasts Geert Wilders

[He] "is a false prophet in the economic field" -- Euro-Central Bank Governor Council mbr. Nout Willink

From Eric Dondero:

Radio Netherlands is reporting that a "war of words," has broken out between "anti-Islam and Euro-skeptic MP Geert Wilders," and "president of the Dutch central bank, Nout Wellink." The battle is over bail-outs for Greece and possibly other EU nations including Portugal.

Wellink a "member of the European Central Bank Governing Council" is quoted:

Mr Wilders “mustn’t like his own people too much if he’s calling on them not to give any more money to Greece”.

Wilders has been on what has been characterized as an "anti-Greece crusade."

Talks of EU Refincancing Board were held in Luxembourg in early May, but the Netherlands was excluded.

From Reuters "Europe pressured to revise Irish and Greek bailouts":

Officials from the Netherlands, the fifth biggest euro zone economy, were not invited to Luxembourg and the Dutch government faced domestic criticism over the weekend for its exclusion.

"It is a humiliation and an insult that the Netherlands is being bypassed for talks about Greece," anti-immigration and eurosceptic member of parliament Geert Wilders told ANP news agency.

Split between Euro-conservatives and libertarians on bail-outs

Now Wilders is breaking with his coalition partners the Conservatives, and blasting the idea of the Dutch taxpayer being asked to fund the bailouts with no participation or oversight in the process.

Continuing from RN:

Mr Wilders attacked the government on the whole Greece crisis, clashing with the chairman of the governing conservative VVD, Stef Blok. Mr Blok said his party was distancing itself from the Freedom Party’s stance.

The VVD is the largest party in a coalition government with the Christian Democrats. As they don't have a parliamentary majority, they rely on Mr Wilders' PVV support in parliament.

Blok continued that if Greece were to fall, Portugal, and likely Spain, Bulgaria, and Italy, as well wreaking havoc on world markets.

[Wilders] PVV chief dismissed the arguments of both Mr Blok and Mr Wellink as “scare-mongering”.

ECB Prez Trichet - Financial Stability Fund should be expanded "in quantity and quality"

Meanwhile, Willink has been gaining international media in the financial press for his insistence on the appointment of Frenchman Jean-Claude Trichet as IMF Chief to replace alleged rapist Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Translated from the Dutch News site vk.nl:

Jean-Claude Trichet, the current president of the European Central Bank would make an excellent candidate for Dominique Strauss-Kahn to succeed him as head of the IMF said, President De Nederlandsche Bank, Nout Wellink yesterday.

Trichet is a major advocate of bail-outs Europe-wide, and like Strauss-Kahn supports a greatly expansive role for the IMF.

From euractiv.com "EU finance chiefs mull widening bailout fund" Jan. 17:

Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the ECB, said on Sunday that the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) "should be improved in quantity and in quality".

"By quality, it means in terms of intervention to be as flexible as possible," Trichet told a Sunday news show hosted by RTL-LCI-Le Figaro.

Obama: Massive increase in Foreign Aid to Arab States at the expense of the US Taxpayer

Huge Debt relief to Egypt; Food Aid to Jordan; US Military Protecting Saudi Nuke installations

From the WSJ:

President Barack Obama will announce this week a new aid plan for the Middle East and North Africa that U.S. officials say will be far bolder than previous American economic assistance to the region.

Mr. Obama will outline the plan, which could include debt cancellation and a reprogramming of financial aid the U.S. already provides to countries like Egypt...

The administration is looking at a mixture of direct aid, debt relief, and export credits to help stabilize Egypt's finances.

Obama said the U.S. will provide Jordan with hundreds of millions of dollars through the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the government institution that finances and insures private business to promote economic growth. The result, according to the U.S., will be roughly $1 billion for economic activity in Jordan. The president also pledged 50,000 metric tons of wheat.

ARMING ARABIA

WASHINGTON — Despite their deepening political divide, the United States and Saudi Arabia are quietly expanding defense ties on a vast scale, led by a little-known project to develop an elite force to protect the kingdom’s oil riches and future nuclear sites. The U.S. also is in discussions with Saudi Arabia to create an air and missile defense system with far greater capability... the Saudis are pressing ahead with a historic $60 billion arms deal that will provide dozens of new U.S.-built F-15 combat aircraft likely to ensure Saudi air superiority.

The Hit Gary Johnson Video: Simple production; Great impact

From Eric Dondero:

It's already got over 10,000 views. Not bad for an ad that's been out for less than 48 hours. It was developed by Josiah Schmidt, an occasional contributor to this website, who is a self-described "libertarian Republican." Schmidt also hangs out at Race42012.com where he does most of his blogging.

Schmidt has been hired as a staffer for Johnson for President.

Side comment - Interesting the Johnson campaign played the national defense issue carefully. Interesting and appreciated by this website.

Breaking News! Jane Corwin strong lead in NY special

From Eric Dondero:

You know a race is breaking for Republicans when you're not hearing much about it in the national liberal political media sites, like Politico, WaPo, Congressional Quarterly, CNN Political Ticker, ABC News.

You've got to dig deep to find news like this, released yesterday. From the Rochester Business Journal:

Among the 35 percent of respondents who identified themselves as eligible to vote in the 26th District, 48 percent said they favored Corwin. Hochul was favored by 36 percent, Davis by 13 percent and Murphy by 3 percent.

As of April, there were 407,148 active registered voters in the 26th District. Forty percent are registered Republicans, 33 percent Democrats and the rest are non-affiliated/other.

Note the huge drop in support for Jack Davis who a few weeks ago, was polling in the low to mid-20s. This follows Tea Party Express, and other conservative groups who early on backed Davis's candidate, pulling their support and switching to Corwin, after revelations of his ties to leftwing groups and questionable campaign supporters.

COSTA RICA: Police Raid Libertarian Party HQ prompted by complaints from Socialist congressmen

Cash from Poker industry alleged to have funded Guevarra, candidatos de Movimiento Libertario

From Eric Dondero:

Flamboyant libertarian presidential candidate Otto Guevarra and his Movimiento Libertario political party, are under suspicion for illegal campaign contributions. Cops raided the Party's headquarters yesterday to seize records of campaign funding sources.

From the Tico Times:

Prosecutors from the Public Ministry have joined forces with members of the Supreme Elections Tribunal (TSE) to review several donations and loans received by the party over the past three years.

On May 13, TSE auditors sent the preliminary results of their investigation to the Public Ministry as part of a collaboration agreement.

“So far we have gathered valuable information from the raids,” said Guillermo Hernández, leading prosecutor at the Public Ministry’s Financial Crimes Division. “We will request permission from a judge to waive Bank Secrecy Act protection from several firms associated with the party so we can fully understand where all its funding comes from.”

Members of a far-left political party, the Nation's 3rd largest, lodged the complaints.

The investigation was prompted by a series of complaints by two opposition congressmen from the Citizens Action Party (PAC), Olivier Pérez and Sergio Alfaro, in January 2010.

They are alleging ML received funds from illegal, out-of-country sources.

This month, the Libertarian Movement also faced another investigation involving Olman Rímola [who] allegedly received money from various online wagering sites in the United States, including PokerStars.net and Full Tilt Poker.

Editor's note - This website has been a staunch supporter of Otto and his Party, and wish him the best. Though, we're not sure why a libertarian party receiving funds from poker companies should be considered a "crime."

Andy Horning: No right to resist unlawful police entry?

Today we’re mad at some Indiana Supreme Court justices. We want to fight back. That’s reasonable. But what’s our goal? Are we interested in firing a few judges? Reversing a decision? Easing a gun ban or two? Making the Fed show us some numbers? Would that make us happy, prosperous and secure? As we raise [...]

The Erosion of Our Fourth Amendment

We responded to the outrageous Indiana Supreme Court decision last week through a press release posted to our facebook page. We stand corrected as it appears that the fourth amendment was actually gutted in 1974. Justice Rucker, writing in dissent: “The Court of Appeals reached this same conclusion over three decades ago. [A] private citizen may not [...]

Muslim North invades South Sudan; aims to impose Sharia

And so it begins...

From Eric Dondero:

The largely Christian southern Sudanese voted for independence in a region-wide referendum by over 90%, two months ago. The South is scheduled to become completely independent in July.

Now, as had been predicted by many international experts, nothern troops have attacked southern forces in the border region. Abiya (mid-point on demarcation line on the map) is an oil-rich town controlled by the South.

Just breaking from the BBC "North Sudan army takes control of border town Abyei":

"The SAF (Sudan Armed Forces) have entered Abyei," said Philip Aguer, spokesman for the southern Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) rebels. "There is still fighting but they have come with tanks, they are shooting and shooting."

He described the seizure of the town as a "complete violation of the comprehensive peace agreement, a complete violation of the ceasefire, and it is a declaration of war by Khartoum".

A UN official: "The SAF have taken the town, it is a major development."

Continuing:

The dispute over the oil-rich region is seen as a possible trigger for a new north-south civil war.

Muslim leaders in the North have been calling for an invasion of the South to prevent independence.

From the Sudan Tribune Dec. 2010:

[Clerics have] demanded imposition of Islamic Shar’iah law in the entire country whether citizens of the mainly Christian region of south Sudan like it or not.

The legitimate League of Muslim Preachers and Clerics (LLMPC), a group of radical clerics... held a press conference in which the group’s leaders declared rejection to south Sudan’s referendum on independence and called on the government to implement Shari’ah law in full.

Note - the BBC and other liberal media such as Reuters make no mention of the Islamist religious affiliation of the North Sudanese forces. A 15-paragraph story by Voice of America (taxpayer-subsidized run by the Obama adminsitration), similarly makes no mention of Islam in the article.

Gene Simmons on Israel: Obama, You don’t know what the ‘F’ you’re talking about

From Eric Dondero:

Ayn Randian indvidualist rock artist Gene Simmons slammed President Obama over his Israel policy in a CNBC interview on Friday.

Via BreitbartTV.com:

INTERVIEWER: What do you think of President Obama's suggestion that the borders be redrawn?

SIMMONS: For a President to sit there in Washington, DC and say go back to your '67 borders, how about you live there and try to defend an indefensible borders, 9 miles wide. On one side you've got hundreds of thousands of people who hate your guts. On the other side you've got the Mediterranean.

And President Obama, I think he's actually a nice guy, has no fucking idea what it's like to live there.

The UN... the most pathetic body on the face of the planet... It's garbage infested. And then when they want more money they put their hand out to America.

Indiana Democrat activist switched his Voter Registration to Wisconsin while on Vacation

Coincidentally, it was just in time for the Hotly-contested WI Supreme Court race

by Eric Dondero

In the 2008 presidential campaign, there were numerous allegations nationwide of college students voting by absentee ballot for Obama in two or more states. A handful even faced criminal charges after the elections. (LR article 2008).

Now, a Ft. Wayne, Indiana Democrat activist and city council candidate has put a new twist on the practice. He went on "vacation," and registered to vote in Wisconsin. All the time he was on the ballot as a Democrat candidate in Indiana for Ft. Wayne city council.

From the Ft. Wayne Journal-Gazette "Schrader off the fall ballot" May 21:

the Allen County Election Board voted unanimously to remove Schrader from the November ballot

Schrader is a perennial candidate and said he took a vacation to Wisconsin during the campaign season this year because he did not expect to win. He finished third in a five-way Democratic race for Fort Wayne City Council at large, securing one of the party’s three nominations.

He told the election board, however, that he registered to vote in Green Bay...

Of course, Wisconsin had a very hotly contested race for State Supreme Court during that time. The Court was 4 to 3 Republican. A loss for the GOP would have allowed the Democrats to overturn Governor Scott Walker's budget plan including reform of state worker pensions. The Republican David Prosser in the race beat Dane Country prosecutor JoAnne Kloppenburg by over 7,000 votes, after a recount.

Interestingly, the Ft. Wayne paper makes no mention of possible motives for Schrader registering to vote in Wisconsin.

And how many Democrat activists, from other nearby cities, say Chicago, also registered in WI temporarily to vote for Kloppenburg? How many others do this on a regular basis all over the US?

Breitbart’s going for the Tea Party candidate for ’12

West, Cain, Bachmann, or Palin

From Eric Dondero:

Top libertarian Republican Andrew Breitbart told The Hill in an interview that he's having fun with the 2012 GOP primary race. But wants the ultimate winner to be a "fighter." He gave some specific names for the first time:

I’m a Tea Party guy. I want the Allen Wests, the Herman Cains, the Michele Bachmanns, the Sarah Palins, to be the ones that emerge.

Note - West has categorically ruled out any run. Palin is giving very mixed signals.

Editor's comment - Cain/Bachmann or Bachmann/Cain? Two prize-fighters for the price of one. (My current two favorite candidates).

Illegal Immigrants can no longer Vote in South Carolina elections

Thanks to Republican Gov. Nikki Haley

From Eric Dondero:

The bill was signed into law on Friday. Every one in the State will be required to show a photo i.d. before they are allowed to vote.

The Governor was quoted by various media:

"If you have to show a picture ID to buy Sudafed, if you have to show a picture ID to get on an airplane, you should show a picture ID when you vote."

She added:

"nobody else can steal your id. No one else can vote for you. You are going to be able to vote by proving that. It maintains the integrity of the process."

Related; a recent investigation from the Sec. of State's office in New Mexico found that hudreds of illegal aliens have voted in elections there in the last few years, and were still on the voter rolls. (KFOX)

Romney SC campaign stop: Calls Single-payer Health Care "a disaster"

From Eric Dondero:

Republican Presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was in Irmus, South Carolina on Friday meeting with about 40 potential GOP primary voters at a plumbing supply company. After the event, in response to a reporter's question, he made the following statement:

There are a lot of things in this country I don't agree with. There are a lot of things other states do that I don't agree with. But I believe in the right of people in a state to pursue policies which they think are in their best interests, and then try them out. And I think if a state tries something like a single-payer system, they'll found out in a big hurry, it's a disaster. And the people of that state will throw out that government, and put in people who will do something a lot smarter.

Plumbing Co. owner speaks the unspoken truth on Unemployment benefits at Romney event

MOOCHER WATCH!

Able-bodied males living fat, dumb and happy off the Fed Gov.

From Eric Dondero:

Mitt Romney was in Columbia, South Carolina meeting with potential GOP primary voters on Friday. His focus was job creation. Included on the iternerary a stop at a plumbing supply warehouse.

From WaPo:

Kevin Meetze, the plumbing company owner, said his top concern was too-generous unemployment benefits. South Carolina legislators are considering cutting the maximum jobless benefits workers can get from 26 weeks to 20 weeks. Meanwhile, Meetze said extended federal benefits are a problem.

“We’ve been hiring for the past couple of years during this recession, but it’s hard to get people to come to work when they’re making a pretty decent salary off the government,” Meetze said.

As Governor of Massachusetts Romney supported initiatives that would require welfare recipients to work, and supported federal workfare requirements. (Ontheissues.org)

Senator Collins: Feds snooping into Political affiliations, beliefs of Anyone who does business with the Government

Vote for a Republican? You're Blacklisted

From Eric Dondero:

In a syndicated column published at various national publications such as the Washington Post, National Review, and National Journal, Maine's moderate Republican Senator Susan Collins railed against a proposal by the Obama administration to require private contractors with the federal government to produce detailed political expenditure reports.

How the White House would politicize the contracting process

In true Orwellian fashion, the draft order suggests that the only way to keep politics out of the contracting process is to include political information with every contract offer. If the White House gets its way, federal agencies would have to collect information on the campaign contributions and other political expenditures of potential contractors before a contract could be awarded. This far-reaching order would apply not only to contributions made by the contracting company but also to contributions made by its directors, officers and affiliates.

These requirements would apply retroactively to contributions made in the two years preceding the submission of an offer. Think about that — political donations made years before a contract is even contemplated would have to be shared with government officials. This would inevitably have a chilling effect on the First Amendment rights of individuals to contribute to the political causes and candidates of their choice.

Radical Islam comes to Tennessee

Just Released Video from TN Freedom Coalition!

From Eric Dondero:

Readers, as most of you are aware last night I was privledged to be 1 of over 2,000 attendees to hear Geert Wilders speak in Nashville, Tenn. at the Cornerstone Church off I-65. It was simply the greatest and most inspiring speech I ever heard in my life. I also got to meet Geert in person for a few minutes. More on that later this evening.

But for now please watch this video, which the TN Freedom Coalition, sponsors of the Wilders event, presented last night at the start of the event.

If you are one of those skeptics who believe Radical Islam will never get a foothold in the US, please watch this video. The Islamists are already here, and right in America's heartland State of Tennessee.
