The role of the investment advisor is evolving quickly. Automated applications have become the go-to tool for many investors. These apps can help with rebalancing a portfolio, determining asset allocation, and recommending tax-loss harvesting. Ironically, the advanced algorithms and efficiency of these tools have not threatened the role of the advisor; they have strengthened it.

The reason: while hard numbers can certainly facilitate investment decisions, they cant address behaviors like panic selling, buying based on greed, early profit-taking based on fear, and stubbornness that causes refusal to buy a stock that drops in price, even though it is a value play.

The human factor is more important than ever in investment advising. This is where the new breed comes in. The Cyborg Advisor.

A Cyborg Advisor is a technology-aided financial professional. This advisor will use robo-advice (recommendations from apps), and offer added value by counseling a client in-person or over the phone.

SUPERGIRL Actor David Harewood Was Not A Fan Of Playing … – Comic Book Movie (satire) (press release) (registration) (blog)

David Harewood has a blast portraying J'onn J'onzz on The CW show, Supergirl. However, recently he was asked to pull double duty and step into the role of Cybog Superman as well, a role part Harewood is not overly thrilled about.

Speaking to a young fan at Supernova Comic Convention in Australia, Harewood spoke about his discontent playing the character. "I dont like playing Cyborg Superman," he explained. "Its boring. They didnt really flesh it out, they didnt really write for the character. They just gave me this rather cheap-looking mask and no costume, and said Okay, youre Cyborg Superman. But it didnt really pan out they didnt really go into why he was a cyborg, how he became a cyborg, what his powers were it was just kind of randomly calling him Cyborg Superman. I was very excited about it at first, but then I very quickly realized that there wasnt really much to it so, its kind of boring. Whenever Im walking to my trailer and I see that costume, I just switch off. Because I know its going to be a really boring day.

Check out the full interview below in which Harewood talks about a few other things such as, who he'd like to see J'onn interact with more, his make-up process for The Martian Manhunter (spoiler alert: it's not much), and his favorite superpower.

Supergirl will return to The CW Monday October 9th.

Tom DeBlass Ready To Avenge Loss Against Roberto ‘Cyborg’ Abreu – Jiu-Jitsu Times

Ocean County Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu owner Tom DeBlass is everything a martial artist should be. Hes a hulk of man who not only takes pride in himself, but in his students.

And why shouldnt he? He can boast grappling champions like Garry Tonon as one of the men he had the honor to promote to black belt.

But boast he wont, as Professor DeBlass is not only humble before God, but humble in the face of his opponents, especially when those opponents are men like the legendary multiple-time gold medalist, Roberto Cyborg Abreu.

Cyborg and DeBlass are set to lock horns at an upcoming Grappling Pro event. The date for the event has not been released yet.

This wont mark the first time DeBlass and Abreu go at it. Back in 2009, the two men met on the mats at ADCC, where Cyborg took the win:

2009 ADCC Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu met and he beat me by a negative 1 to 0 score. No points were scored. Looks like I will

Posted by Tom DeBlass onMonday, June 26, 2017

The Jiu-Jitsu Times had the chance to talk to Professor Tom DeBlass about his last match against Abreu and his chance to avenge his loss at Grappling Pro.

Here is what he had to say.

Jiu-Jitsu Times: You lost to Cyborg back in 2009. What do you think went wrong for you in that fight, if anything?

Tom DeBlass:Um it was a 0-0 match and he won by a negative 1. To be honest there was some mix up in the match. During the match they had Cyborg scored a negative 1 and not me, then it seemed to be switched. He went on to take second that ADCC and that loss haunted me for a few years. However I recently watched it again and I will say he was the aggressor and he deserved the victory. It was 0-0, but he deserved the victory then.

JJT:Do you think youre going to be more aggressive in this match than you were in the last?

TD: LOL! Think? I know!

JJT:Of course! Hope you didnt think that was a dumb question.

TD: Wasnt a dumb question. Include it.

JJT:Will do! Can you tell our readers what usually goes through your head moments before you compete, especially at a big competition? Are you nervous, excited, pumped, or maybe some combination of all three?

TD:Im not too nervous. I simply ask God to give me the ability to compete the best I ever did. I know if I show up being the best version of me, I can best any man on the Earth without the gi. Gi, no. No gi, yes. I have cardio for days, strength, technique, heart, and tenacity that can carry me through any match.

JJT:What advantages do you think you might have over Cyborg in this match? Him over you?

TD:I think Id be arrogant to say Id have any advantages. Im simply honored to compete against such a legend.

JJT:Totally understandable. Okay, Professor, anything else you want to say about the fight to our readers? Any shout-outs?

TD:I want to thank everyone for their support. It means more than you know. I will continue to do my best to inspire everyone. This is just the beginning.

JJT:Thank you for your time, Professor.

Supergirl’s David Harewood really wasn’t a fan of playing Cyborg … – DigitalSpy.com

We really enjoy Supergirl for its diverse and great cast of good guys, but unfortunately the villains do leave something to be desired.

Actor David Harewood feels the same way, describing his role as Cyborg Superman as "boring".

The actor made the claims during a Supanova interview with an adorable young Supergirl.

Luckily for Harewood, he also plays the shapeshifting Martian Manhunter in the show (who took on the form of Hank Henshaw, a man who everyone thought had died but was then revealed to have been turned into Cyborg Superman... look, comics are weird, okay?).

Supergirl will return for its third season in October, following the season two finale which contained an epic smackdown between the titular hero and Superman.

Speaking of Superman, it doesn't look like Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as the Man of Steel in the show again, which is a crying shame if you ask us.

Supergirl airs on The CW in the US, and on Sky 1 in the UK.

Tonya Evinger on why she took Cris Cyborg fight: ‘I’m not a puss’ – Bloody Elbow

Tonya Evingers absence from the UFC roster has been a talking point for hardcore womens MMA fans for years now, stretching all the way back to her poor performance on TUF 18, when she was submitted by Raquel Pennington in her opening round bout. Since that loss Triple Threat has gone on a 7-0 (1 NC) winning streak, making her debut for Invicta FC and picking up the promotions bantamweight title along the way.

For many, she was unquestionably the best bantamweight not on the UFC roster. Thats no longer the case.

Evinger will make her promotional debut at UFC 214, taking a short notice bout at featherweight, against top pound-for-pound talent Cris Cyborg. Its a jump straight into the deep end for Evinger, who told MMA Fighting that she expected nothing less if she ever got a chance to go to the UFC.

I knew they werent gonna give me any kind of easy run, Evinger said. I knew I was going to get something as tough as they possibly could. But whatever, Im here to fight.

Despite the challenge, Evinger sounded confident of her chances, saying that she believes she can and will be Cyborgs toughest test to date.

I think Im her biggest challenge to date, Evinger told MMA Fighting. Im not taking anything away from any of them other girls. All of them are good in their own right. Its just my style, anyway. I think Im gonna be the toughest challenge for her.

But that confidence isnt the only reason shes taking the bout, as she also revealed that if she passed on the opportunity, she would be kicking herself for the rest of her life.

You know what? Im not a puss, Evinger said. I know its a struggle to get to 145 for her. I know what it is. It doesnt matter, man. Ill go home and Ill regret this for the rest of my life. I could have beat her, maybe. I dont know. Maybe I should have took the fight. Why was I such a puss? I was scared to fight at 145? Thats not me, man. Im not saying Im gonna go out there and fight at 170 pounds tomorrow or the next fight or anything like that, but [145] is realistic. This aint too far off.

I do think Im really dominant at 135. I think I can definitely dominate at [145] and i think I can dominate at [125].

She also had a few choice words for Germaine de Randamies decision to turn down a fight with Cyborg, saying Theres no way that being a champion you should be able to pick and choose your opponents. Im there to fight. If I get beat, so be it. Im not gonna not fight somebody to protect my championship belt. Thats ridiculous.

UFC 214 takes place on July 29th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event is expected to be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. Cris Cyborg vs. Tonya Evinger is slated to be one of two other title fights on the card, alongside Tyron Woodley vs. Demian Maia.

Report Tells Pentagon to Beware Nuclear Drone Bombers … – Discover Magazine (blog)

A 509th Bomb Wing B-2 Spirit conducts a fly-by during the Scott Air Force Base 2017 Air Show and Open House June 11, which celebrates the bases 100th anniversary. The Air Force plans to replace the B-2 Spirit bomber with the similar-looking B-21 Raider bomber starting in the mid 2020s. Credit: U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Tristin English

The U.S. Air Forces future B-21 Raider bomber may havethe option to remove the human pilots from the cockpit and effectively becomea large drone bomber. In one of the more unlikely scenarios,B-21 Raiders could theoretically end upcarrying nuclear bombs or missiles without a human pilot onboard. That seems like an extremely remote possibility given the U.S. Air Forces current views, but other countries may not hesitate as much to turn uninhabited aircraft into nuclear drone bombers, according to a new report.

Nobody in the U.S. defense community seems to be pushing nuclear drone bombers as a great idea, saysPaul Scharre, project director for the 20YY Warfare Initiative at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).But Scharre and his colleagues still recommend that the Pentagon examine the possible implications of nuclear drone bombers in their recentreport titledDrone Proliferation: Policy Choices for the Trump Administration. After all, other countries that havenuclear weapons may also have a different risk calculus in mind when considering the idea of putting nuclear weapons aboard drones.

Given that countries are getting access to larger drones that can operate with larger payloads, and some of those countries have nuclear weapons, how should we be reacting?says Paul Scharre, project director for the 20YY Warfare Initiative at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). It hasnt gotten much attention in the U.S. defense community because its considered a crazy idea, but other countries may think about this quite differently.

Russia is one example of a country that may have a different mindset. In 2012, a Russian Air Force lieutenant general suggested that Russia could deploy an uninhabited nuclear bomber by the 2040s.There is some precedent for Russias having greater comfort in handingnuclear weapons over to robotic systems, given its reliance on aDead Hand system (also calledPerimeter) that ensures automatic nuclear launches and retaliation against the United States if the U.S. military was ever to destroy the Russian leadership and command and control centers.

Unlike nuclear-armed cruise missiles or ballistic missiles, an uninhabited nuclear bomber could potentially end up on patrol in a holding pattern during a crisis situation. Such a delicate situation would require the drone nuclear bomber to have extremely trustworthyonboard autonomyand reliable communications with its remote human handlers, so that humans could ensure that they retain control over its nuclear payload. That complication of command and control is just one factor that the U.S. military might want to study, even if its simply to prepare for the possible complications of another country deploying nuclear drone bombers.

The U.S. military has been careful to keep a human in the loop for itsnuclear triad system that can deploy nuclear weapons from land-based missile silos, from stealthy submarines hidden under the sea, and from an aging fleet of 66 nuclear-capable strategic bombers in the air. That nuclear triad will receive a much-needed upgrade to the air arm when the B-21 Raiders begin becoming operational in the mid 2020s and begin replacing B-52 and B-2 bombers that havetypically already been in military service for more than45 years.

Its fine to keep human pilots aboard nuclear-armed strategic bombers as long as they have the stealth or other capabilities to survive their missions. But many nuclear-armed countries lack the ability to build sophisticated, long-range bombers that can survive the gauntlet of enemy air defenses and deliver nuclear bombs or missiles to their targets half a world away, Scharre says. One or more of those countries may see dronesas nuclear delivery vehicles that have some tactical advantages in future wars.

When you look at North Korea, Pakistan and India, those countries are in very different strategic positions in terms of vulnerability compared with the United States, Scharre says. Just because its not a great idea in a U.S. system doesnt mean others dont think about it that way.

Big question: Who gets the blame if a cyborg drops a kid on its head? – The Register

Who is responsible if a robot controlled by a human brain drops, say, a baby?

It's a bizarre question, but one worth asking, according to scientists who raise a host of ethical and social questions around brain-machine interfaces (BMI) in the policy forum in Science.

Research in this area begun in the 1970s when the US military research arm DARPA entertained the possibilities of using human brains to control devices. The idea has now gone mainstream, with Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Neuralink's CEO Elon Musk investing in neural laces, capable of merging man and machine together as cyborgs.

"Brainjacking" can potentially be a serious issue, the researchers said. Facebook is aiming to create a system that "can type 100 words per minute straight from your brain." Data about brain activity needs to be protected if it can potentially reveal sensitive information and communications.

Professor Niels Birbaumer, co-author of the paper and a senior Research Fellow at the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering in Geneva, Switzerland, said in a statement: "The protection of sensitive neuronal data from people with complete paralysis who use a BMI as their only means of communication, is particularly important. Successful calibration of their BMI depends on brain responses to personal questions provided by the family (for example, "Your daughter's name is Emily?").

"Strict data protection must be applied to all people involved. This includes protecting the personal information asked in questions as well as the protection of neuronal data to ensure the device functions correctly."

Autonomy is another tricky area back to the baby question. If a human used a semi-autonomous robot to pick up a baby and the bot accidentally dropped it, who is to blame? Presuming you could stop the robot before it lost its grip on a baby, the authors propose an emergency stop function in all autonomous systems controlled via brain-machine interactions.

It's a solution similar to what has been proposed for AI agents by DeepMind and the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford.

John Donoghue, co-author of the paper and director of the Wyss Center, said, "Although we still don't fully understand how the brain works, we are moving closer to being able to reliably decode certain brain signals.

"We shouldn't be complacent about what this could mean for society. We must carefully consider the consequences of living alongside semi-intelligent brain-controlled machines, and we should be ready with mechanisms to ensure their safe and ethical use."

Tonya Evinger says she’s expected Cyborg, UFC fight for years – ESPN (blog)

The truth is, Tonya Evinger has known she was going to fight Cris "Cyborg" Justino for years.

She didn't know exactly when it was going to happen -- only that it was inevitable. And that it would most likely be her entry into the UFC.

"I didn't know when the UFC would sign me, but I knew it would be to fight Cyborg," Evinger told ESPN on Wednesday. "I just knew it, man. Literally, my coaches and I have been talking about this for years."

The UFC proved Evinger right this week, when it announced she'd face Justino for its vacant 145-pound title at UFC 214 on July 29. Evinger replaces Megan Anderson, who pulled off the card for personal reasons.

Evinger, 36, has waited a long time to make her UFC debut. An original pioneer in women's MMA, with more than 10 years of pro experience, Evinger has fought exclusively in the all-female promotion Invicta FC since 2013. She currently holds the promotion's 135-pound title.

For whatever reason, however, the UFC has passed on Evinger's services until now. The closest she ever came to signing with the promotion was four years ago, when she tried out for the UFC's reality series, "The Ultimate Fighter."

She ended up losing an elimination bout and, despite a perfect 7-0 record in Invicta, hasn't come close to the UFC since.

"I kind of gave up on the UFC," Evinger said. "I got to a point where I said, 'You know what? I'm not going to beg for anything. I'm not going to stress myself out and sit here angry because I'm not where I think I should be.'

"I just needed to look at things through a different window. I realized I was where I needed to be. I was fighting for one of the best promotions in the world against tough opponents. I was doing everything I wanted to do, it just wasn't in the UFC."

Although the UFC was reluctant to sign her, Evinger still knew the Justino fight would come up eventually. There are simply not many women willing to face Justino, a natural featherweight with 15 career wins via knockout.

Evinger, who fights out of Houston, was always one of the few willing to say yes -- as long as the compensation was right. She always figured it might take the UFC's deep pockets to make the fight a reality. And, once again, she was dead on.

"This fight came up a couple times when we were both in Invicta, but my thing was I needed to be paid for it. I didn't want to be making a small amount of money, while the UFC paid her a ton for the fight.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not going into this with no stress, no worries, no emotions. That's not the case. I have the same feelings before every fight. I'm scared every single fight, just like all of these fighters are. But that's the reason I fight. It brings out the best in me."

After waiting years to debut in the UFC -- and giving up on the idea of actually joining the promotion in her own weight class, as a bantamweight contender -- Evinger has finally signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.

It took accepting a short-notice fight against the most dominant female of all time to get it done -- but of course, Evinger always knew it would.

"I'm the grinder, man," Evinger said. "I'm going to grind this fight out for a win. I'm going to drag her to the deep end and push the pace as much as she pushes the pace. At the end of the day, I'm a competitor. I'm not going in there intimidated."

Video: Cris Cyborg is a savage boxer, should probably fight Floyd Mayweather in place of Conor McGregor – MMAmania.com

If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor McGregor gets hurt and doesn't show up for his Floyd Mayweather boxing match on Aug. 26, Showtime can always call upon former Strikeforce featherweight titleholder Cristiane Justino.

Shed probably be a tougher fight anyway, based on this video.

Thats because Cyborg is a SAVAGE inside the ring, going toe-to-toe with two-time Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields, who is convinced the Brazilian would be a major force in the sweet science with some proper training.

"From today, shed be a great transition in over to boxing. It would be not be hard for you. A year of just training in boxing, six months, youll able to take on some of the top girls, Shields told Justino (via MMA Fighting). "Imagine with one year, just training boxing, I think it would be really nice. Im interested, maybe one day. You'd be a monster.

Sound familiar?

Justino (17-1, 1 NC) is gearing up for her debut in the UFC featherweight division, which comes against Megan Anderson at the UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sat., July 29, 2017 inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

A win there and I vote she boxes the winner of McGregor vs. Mayweather.

Cyborg Justino Pleads Not Guilty to Charge for Allegedly Punching Angela Magana – Bleacher Report

Josh Hedges/Zuffa LLC/Getty Images

Cris "Cyborg" Justino has pleaded not guilty to her battery charge stemming from an alleged punch on a fellow UFC fighter, according to TMZ.

The original incident occurred at a UFC retreat in May, when she and Angela Magana got in a confrontation about social media that allegedly ended with a punch from Justino and a charge for battery.

(Warning: Video contains inappropriate language)

She will be due back in court in August.

She could face up to six months in jail if convicted, while there could be consequences even if she is found not guilty. TMZ also reported Magana has met with a lawyer and plans to bring a civil suit against Justino.

UFC president Dana White recently discussed the situation on theUFC Unfilteredpodcast, clearly siding with Magana.

"You can't put your hands on another human being outside of the Octagon," White said, perDave Doyleof MMAFighting.com. "It's assault, you will get arrested, in the fight world we all love to get caught up in the 'hey, you know what, she had a big mouth and she needed a smack in the mouth' thing, but it doesn't work that way in real life."

Cyborg has been one of the top female fighters in UFC, building up a 16-1 record in her MMA career. Magana is only 11-8 and in a different weight class than her rival, which forced her to challenge Justino to ajujitsu matchin May, although this doesn't seem likely to come to fruition.

Friday, July 7 – UFC

Stepping in for Anderson in the bout for the vacant UFC featherweight title will be Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya "Triple Threat" Evinger.

This is something Ive thought about doing going up to 145 pounds just to get more competition," Evinger told UFC.com's Matt Parrino. "I even said Id go down to 125, but the opportunity was at 145 and Im definitely willing to beat up on some 45ers.

RELATED: UFC 214 fight card|Robin Black previews Cormier vs Jones 2

Unbeaten for nearly six years, Evinger has been among the best fighters in the world since her pro debut in 2006, and she has fought the best of the best, including Julie Kedzie, Sara McMann and Alexis Davis. But it was in Invicta that the 36-year-old Missouri native began to rise to the elite level, with her victories over Sarah D'Alelio, Cindy Dandois and Irene Aldana making her a star in the promotion. Now on July 29, this fearless competitor, who has finished five of her last six victories, gets a chance to add UFC gold to her trophy case when she battles Cyborg.

I think I match up better than any of her other opponents," Evinger said. "I think my style is really unpredictable. Im tough and youve never seen me in a fight where I got my ass really beat up. I think Im a perfect matchup; I drag people where they dont want to go and I make a fight hard for them. I dont fight other peoples fights. Its a frame of mind. Im just an old school wrestler and I think its just a frame of mind. Were tough and we come out there to fight."

In the UFC 214 main event, which airs live on Pay-Per-View from Honda Center in Anaheim, its the long-awaited rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former titleholder Jon Jones.

Becoming Cyborg – Scientific American (blog)

The term cyborg refers to a mix of human and machine that conjures images of popular science fiction movies like Blade Runner and the Terminator series, or DC comics Cyborg. But cyborgs are very real. At the simplest level, some anthropologists consider that our use of smartphones makes us all cyborgs, since they allow us to interact with our social and cultural environments in a much broader way than humans could before.

But it goes much further than that. People are now getting chips implanted in their bodies that let them open automatic doors or access communal printers with a wave of the hand; some companies in Europe are implanting chips that will allow users to make payments or identify themselves when opening a bank account. And then theres a subculture of grinders who have grander dreamsfor example, Tim Cannon, the founder of Grindhouse Wetware, a Pittsburgh-based biohacking company that builds custom implants in his basement. His goal: to ultimately use these technologies to become immortal.

Our new film, Becoming Cyborg, explores the strange new world of the contemporary cyborg movement, and the pioneers who are making it happen.

The views expressed are those of the author(s) and are not necessarily those of Scientific American.

Two-time Olympic champ Claressa Shields says Cris Cyborg would be a ‘monster’ if she focuses only on boxing – MMA Fighting

One of the few fighters to ever win two Olympic gold medals in boxing, Claressa Shields, visited UFC star Cris Cyborg in Los Angeles over the weekend, and was impressed by her boxing skills.

The Brazilian veteran invited Shields over to her gym as she prepares to face Megan Anderson for the vacant UFC featherweight championship at UFC 214 on July 29, and T-Rex, now undefeated as a professional boxer with three wins, talked about her training on Cyborgs social media.

"I looked at (Cyborgs films) and I was like 'ok, I see a few things that I wanna tell her to work on,' and then, the best way to learn is from experience, Shields said. "From today, shed be a great transition in over to boxing. It would be not be hard for you. A year of just training in boxing, six months, youll able to take on some of the top girls.

"Shes physically strong, physically fast, very athletic. Only thing, you just gotta work on the whole breathing thing. I think MMA and boxing is like swimming and running, especially when it comes to breathing. Cris is strong, shes fast.

Cyborg is the best 145-pounder in womens MMA history, arguably the best pound-for-pound ever, and Shields is confident that the Brazilian would be a very competitive fight for one of the top female boxers in the world if she focuses on evolving as a boxer.

"Itd be a heck of a match-up between her and Cris, Shields said of 31-0 boxer Cecilia Braekhus, who holds the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO welterweight belts. "That would be a really good fight. Wouldn't be like Cecilia Braekhus would just have in the bag. And long as Cris is in shape, gets the boxing down and be focused on it, it would be very, very competitive."

"Its really hard from MMA because you have to train and mix everything, you train jiu-jitsu, you cant focus in one thing, Cyborg said. "Imagine with one year, just training boxing, I think it would be really nice. Im interested, maybe one day."

"You'd be a monster, Shields said.

The 31-year-old Brazilian, who holds a 17-1 MMA record and has competed in pure muay thai bouts and pure grappling matches before, winning two gold medals at the IBJJF world championship and a bronze medal at the ADCC, has never entered a boxing ring before.

"I already did competition in just jiu-jitsu, already did competition just muay thai, I did just wrestling, and one thing that I never did was one boxing fight, Cyborg said. "I went to Thailand and made the muay thai camp, just muay thai, and I lived muay thai every day there. I think you get better experience, you learn a lot of things.

"If I go to the (Shield's) gym, where shes training just boxing, I think Im gonna learn a lot of things, a lot of experiences, and to improve my game and better better, for me it would be amazing. I told her, after my fight Im gonna be with her and train every day and follow her, and learn.

Cyborg Says de Randamie ‘Used the Same Excuses Ronda Rousey Did’ Not to Fight Her – champions.co

Cris Cyborg hasn't been shy of a word or two for Germaine da Randamie since the Dutch fighter turned down a fight against her.

The Brazilian will face Megan Anderson at #UFC214 for the now vacant UFC women's featherweight title, but there are still no shortage of questions being asked about her thoughts on de Randamie.

Speaking to Submission Radio earlier this week, Cyborg it very clear why she thinks the former champion didn't want to defend her title against her.

I think shes scared, she dont want to fight," Cyborg said. "I dont think its an issue about money. I dont know, maybe its about money, she wants more money, doesnt see more money. And about [her] saying Im a cheater, Im cheater, its the same excuse that Ronda Rousey used. Its the same excuse Ronda Rousey [used] before I was gonna fight her, 'Oh shes cheater'. Everybody saw when she fought someone who punched like Holly Holm did to her, then she retired and then all the girls, no one fights me and find excuses [why] they dont want to fight me and they call me cheater."

Cyborg believes that the introduction of the USADA program has taken away the opportunity for any fighters to use that excuse anymore. She also pointed out the fact that she was enrolled before any other fighter on the roster was.

"For me, it dont change because I have the same program that all the fighters in the UFC [are under] USADA," Cyborg said. "And the first fight before the UFC, I signed one year with USADA. USADA [was] testing me before all my fights, before I went to the UFC for one year and then this is proof Im a clean athlete. And these guys, no one trusts USADA? You know, its the best. They have this job [to] show us the fighter stays clean. You know, for me it dont change my life, I just keep training and wait.

With that all now behind her, Cyborg finally gets the chance to fight for the title on July 29 when she faces Anderson. For the Brazilian, it's a dream come true and it's the fight she's been waiting for ever since she entered the UFC.

You know, its the one thing Im really happy," Cyborg said. After two years Im gonna fight in my division at 145 and this has really changed the move for training, you know, Im training really more motivated because its less stress about weight, just focus more on the training. Im very excited to fight for the belt. And for me, Im gonna defend my belt and fight Megan Anderson. So for me its really nice because she holds the Invicta belt now and I think it will be like a unification [bout]. We were supposed to fight before and then itll be amazing, were gonna fight for title belt in the UFC at 145.

Anderson vs. Cyborg will serve as the co-main event at #UFC214 on July 29 in Anaheim, California.

Megan Anderson on fighting Cyborg at UFC 214: ‘I will show her how human she is’ – International Business Times AU

AustralianMegan Anderson is determined to bring Cristiane Justinoaka 'Cyborg' down to earth during their highly-anticipated fight atUFC 214 on July 29. In recent years,Cyborg has been viewed as nearly invincible butAnderson campaigned for the opportunity to face the Brazilian and believes she has a shot.

Earlier this week, the UFC announced that it would restart thewomens featherweight division with the Cyborg vs. Megan Anderson fight serving as the co-main event to UFC 2014 which will be headlined byDaniel Cormier vs.Jon Jones. On paper,Cyborg is the overwhelming favorite to capture the vacatedUFC Women's Featherweight Championship. ButAnderson is no pushover.

Anderson earned the title shot by clinching theInvicta FC featherweight championship earlier this year, after which she aggressively campaigned for the Cyborg showdown through social media.

Megan Anderson on Cyborg: 'She is just human'

Shes (Cyborg) human like everybody else. I think a lot of people go into that fight fighting Cyborg the name and theyve already lost before theyve got into the cage. I dont give a [expletive] about how many followers she has. I dont give a [expletive] about how much reach she has. Shes a human being and I have no doubt come July 29 everyone whos doubting me will find out how human Cris Cyborg can really be,"Anderson told the Fight Society podcast, via Fox Sports.

A few weeks ago, UFC president Dana White nixed the fight, which led to Anderson being booked for a title defense inInvicta FC on July 15. A few days later, UFC came calling and pulled the trigger.

Not even six hours after I handed in my bout agreement for that fight (in Invicta FC], the UFC called. Im very excited when I finally got the call. Its what weve been wanting for a really long time and I think this is a really great step forward in the direction for the division," revealed the 27-year-old Aussie from the Gold Coast.

In March, Cyborg challenged Germaine de Randamie for the Invicta Featherweight championship at UFC 214. The match fell apart since de Randamie refused to fight Cyborg, stating that Justino was proven drug cheater and she was willing to get stripped of the belt.

Cat Zingano says ‘hell yes’ to fighting winner of Cris Cyborg vs … – Bloody Elbow

She may be out of commission for a bit, but that doesnt mean shes not sharpening her knives. Former bantamweight title challenger Cat Zingano is still recovering from an undisclosed injury. But, despite not having fought since her decision loss to Julianna Pena at UFC 200, she been staying in the gym at Alliance MMA in San Diego and paying close attention to the rest of the division.

After Holly Holms sensational knockout win over Bethe Correia at UFC Singapore last weekend, Zingano had some thoughts about what she wants upon her return. Not only does she want a fight against Holm, but shes more than willing to take on the winner of the upcoming fight between Cristiane Justino vs Megan Anderson at UFC 214, if given the opportunity.

She discussed her intentions with Ariel Helwani over at MMAFighting.

Recently, I was asked about fighting her and for it to be in contention of possibly fighting the winner of Cyborg (Justino) vs. (Megan) Anderson. My answer is hell yes. As soon as my body is ready to safely go back in there, the heads will be rolling once again. The results and trials of the treatments Im focusing on are responding and that makes me happy to hear as an athlete, as well as a normal human. Longevity in health and sport are both my top priorities, as well as in the interest of the UFC, who is providing me huge support at this time.

Again, there are no details as to Zinganos condition or potential recovery time, so theres no way to predict how soon she can be back in action. She remains 9-2 in her professional career. Her UFC record currently stands at 2-2, however, after back to back losses to former champion Ronda Rousey and Julianna Pea. But, given the state of both the featherweight and bantamweight divisions right now, shes likely still in consideration as a top contender for match-ups with the divisional elite.

Cat Zingano Open To Holly Holm, Says 'Cyborg Is The Ultimate Goal'

Recently, it was announced that now-former women's featherweight champ Germaine de Randamie would be stripped of her title due to refusal to fight. Cris 'Cyborg' Justino will now face Megan Anderson at UFC 214 for the vacant strap.

Following that news, Cyborg told MMAuno.comshe would like the UFC to book Zingano vs. former UFC bantamweight champ Holly Holm to determine the next contender at 145.

Zingano, for her part, is down.

"I'm seeing awesome progress on the health issues that I've been working on, with the support of the UFC," Zingano told FloCombat. "Holm is a good fight for me, my coaches are excited to hear of that possibility.

"I'm interested, and when the time is right I'd be happy to go toe to toe with her. We need to build up this 145 [pound]division, I think there's all the talent in the world available, we just need to get organized and put on some good fights."

Zingano previously excelled at 135 inside the UFC Octagon, working her way to a title shot against then-champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 184. While she would drop that contest via submission--and her next to Julianna Pena at UFC 200 via decision--she's not ruling out the possibility of bouncing between bantamand featherweight.

Plus, there's a certain someonelingering at 145 that she can't wait to tackle head on.

"I hope to be able to bounce back and fourth between feather and bantam until more has been established," Zingano said. "Cyborg is the ultimate goal at this point, should she win the belt. Until then I'm just working hard (and smart) and waiting for my body to tell me it's time to go to war."
