Players Will Be Able to Beat Cyberpunk 2077 Without Completing the Main Story – PlayStation LifeStyle

CD Projekt REDs RPGs always center on player-choice. But the studio is apparently upping the ante with Cyberpunk 2077. This time, player-choice will prove so integral that some players may beat the game without actually completing the main questline.

Lead Quest DesignerPawel Sasko confirmed as much and explained the notions inner workings during an interview with Polish publication, Spiders Web. According to Sasko (via VG247), the studio built Cyberpunk 2077s structure based on what was learned from developing The Witcher 3. He explained, The Witcher had the main stem of history and side threads departing from it, and this was our main structure, which we call the ear. So in Cyberpunks structure we have this wheat spike, which serves as its center, the main storyline with different subplots surrounding it, which can be triggered in various ways.

For the first time, CD Projekt is experimenting with subplots further. Most notably, subplot will alter the core games main plot. These changes are drastic, so much so that players can beat Cyberpunk 2077 without first wrapping up the primary storyline. Sasko notes that the chosen lifepath affects every piece of the puzzle. In fact, the lifepath players choose at the start of the game means theyll experience a completely different epilogue than the player with a different lifepath who made different choices, met different characters and formed relationships with them.

Cyberpunk 2077s lifepath system will even alter Vs relationship with Jackie, the companion seen in many a trailer and gameplay video. Going Corpo means V will meet Jackie under a set of circumstances that differ from another player who chooses the Nomad path. Sasko told Spiders Web: This is one example of the fact that depending on the chosen path of originas a character you were born in a different place, you have a different story, and therefore both Jackies story and your relationship with him was different.

In the end, it all comes down to a butterfly affect that affects whole storylines, since some quests are exclusive to certain lifepaths. Thus, one decision made at the start of the game has been structured to impact every facet of the experience. AsSenior Quest Designer Philipp Weber previously teased, such variety is bound to make replay value incredibly high.

CD Projekt RED recently pushed Cyberpunk 2077 out of its September launch date. The sci-fi RPG will now hit stores a little later in the year on November 19th for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 Offers Unique Way for Beating the Game | Game Rant – GameRant

Cyberpunk 2077's lead quest designer, Pawel Sasko, explains how players can beat the open world game without completing the main story.

One of the major players in the development ofCyberpunk 2077 shared an interesting tidbit about the game's story and its progression. Depending on the side quests players complete, they may be able to finish the game without resolving Cyberpunk 2077's main story.

A few days ago, the Polish website Spider's Web brought in Pawel Sasko, the lead quest designer for CD Projekt Red'sCyberpunk 2077, to talk about the game's quests and how they'll work in regards to the main story. As VG24/7 reported and translated, one of the biggest revelations from the interview is how the game compensates for having a shorter story thanThe Witcher 3. WhereasThe Witcher 3 had a story structure featuring the main thread of history and side branches,Cyberpunk 2077 takes a different approach based on what the team learned fromThe Witcher 3. Sasko explains:

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077: 5 Confirmed Things From The Tabletop (& 5 We Hope Theyll Use)

"So in the Cyberpunk's structure we have this wheat spike, which serves as it's center, the main storyline with different subplots surrounding it, which can be triggered in a various ways. Those subplots allow us to do something that we have never done before, they change the main plot of the game and they are doing that in such a way that you may not even finish the main plot, but still finish the game and get a completely different epilogue then the player with a different lifepath who made different choices, met different characters and formed relationships with them."

As Sasko points out, the backstory players choose for V, the game's protagonist, also plays a part in how the story plays out. Depending on whether V is a Corpo, a Street Kid, or a Nomad, they'll meet ex-Valentinos member Jackie under different circumstances and have a different relationship with him. This means that one of the very first decisions players make in the game will have a profound effect on its world and how the story plays out.

In addition to the details onV's relationship with Jackie, V's life path also dictates which of the 75 side quests they can take. Given that side quests are capable of changing how the story plays out, this means thatcertain story branches are only available to certain life paths. It's safe to say that this method of branching story offers quite a bit of freedom and a wide variety of choices to make.

Cyberpunk 2077comes out on November 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X versions to follow.

Cyberpunk 2077 Team is Trying to Set a New ‘Benchmark’ – GameRant

CD Projekt Red's Level Designer Max Pears speaks about how Cyberpunk 2077 plans to be a new benchmark for game development moving forward.

CD Projekt Red clearly has some big plans for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, possibly even too big as some of these aspirations have likely led to the game's most recent delay. However, if the developer's wishes come true, players may be in for the definitive experience of both this and the next generation of gaming.

This latest news from inside CDPR comes in the form of an interview with Level Designer Max Pears in the latest issue of Edge Magazine, where the developer talked about making Cyberpunk 2077 and the expectations of the company after titles like The Witcher 3. Pears has previously been a source of information for the game, recently revealing the removal ofCyberpunk's wall run feature, and returning to temper players' expectations.

RELATED: Cyberpunik 2077: 5 Confirmed Things From The Tabletop (& 5 We hope They'll Use)

In the interview, Pears comments on how Cyberpunk 2077 is planning on setting a "benchmark" for gaming, relating the upcoming title to how The Witcher 3 had become a definitive representation of open-world titles in its time. With stunning visuals, powered by ray tracing in some versions, it's hard to believe that CDPR's latest title won't make waves when it does finally release. Combine this new aesthetic with the company's history of making immersive open world's, and it becomes apparent why so many players are excited about what the developer might have in store next.

Pears also acknowledged that every game and development studio is always out to advance the industry in their own ways by innovating and pushing each project as far as it can go. However, CDPR's track record makes the designer confident that the company has what it takes to create new benchmarks for developers to strive for with each of these huge, open-world projects. While it may not be a competition between developers, as new Cyberpunk 2077 news comes to light, it seems like this may be the title that is leading the way.

Of course, every developer wants to imagine that their game is the one that will move the industry forward, innovating on ideas that others will take note of and start copy/pasting into every future release. So, Pears claiming that Cyberpunk 2077 will be the benchmark for modern gaming, and the bar to strive for when Next-Gen consoles launch, is nothing new for AAA developers. However, with what has been shown so far about the game's mechanics and player abilities, CDPR's latest project looks to be raising the bar once again for open-world RPGs, even if only slightly.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release November 19th, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X version planned for the future.

10 Sick Cyberpunk Car Renders We’d Love To Drive In Real Life – HotCars

Some truly amazing artists have created these awesome cyberpunk car renders, and we can't help but wonder if this is the future of car modifications>!

The cyberpunk style is all the rage at the moment, especially with the insanely hyped Cyberpunk 2077 coming soon. The partly in the future, partly in the present aesthetic of cyberpunk means that it can be applied to all kinds of things that we use on a daily basis.RELATED: Do You Want A Futuristic Car? Check Out These RidesWith the help of some 3D modeling or Photoshop, various talented automotive enthusiasts have imagined what some beloved cars from the past few decades would look like with a little bit of cyberpunk flair, and the results are impressive. Here are 10 sick renders of cyberpunk cars we'd love to get behind the wheel of in real life.

In this particular instance, the Cybertruck is a great starting point. It even has it in its name. But pioneer of crazy virtual customization Khyzyl Saleem has taken it a step further.

This Cybertruck has been dropped to the ground, given some additional lighting, some chunky mud-running tires, and various carbon-fiber bodywork additions. The end result is something that wouldn't look too out of place in Blade Runner, or indeed, Cyberpunk 2077.

This absolutely crazy Supra was done by the insanely talented Pedro Guerreiro, also known as Typerulez on social media and artist platforms.

It features various insane components, such as the race car-inspired rims, fender-mounted exhausts and the rear wing, which seems to be inspired by a whale tail.

The R34 Skyline is one of those cars that has simply engraved its name in history, so it's only natural to assume that people will still be driving them 40 or 50 years from now. Khyzyl Saleem has imagined what it would look like, and the end results are certainly interesting.

The car doesn't seem to use conventional tires, and it also borrows its exhaust system from the Pagani Zonda or Huayra. The rear scoop and pipework suggests that there might be some type of additional engine or maybe a mid-engine configuration happening.

While this is not a real car, it basically looks like what would happen if the fastest supercars out there took a page out of the BAC Mono or Ariel Atom book and removed their windshields.

The car itself was designed by Pedro Guerreiro, and then rendered and touched up by Hugo Silva Designs. It features various enhancements like turbofans on the front wheels and an intricate rear diffuser setup, resulting in something totally wild.

This render was also done by Khyzyl Saleem, and the mood in the picture is definitely set, leaving no doubt that this virtual Porsche hails from a cyberpunk area.

The best detail about it definitely has to be the slim red LED strip that runs the entire width of the rear wing, replacing the headlights that would be found further down. Not much else is visible, but this 964 wouldn't look too out of place 40 years in the future. Would RWB be around by then, though?

Created by Typerulez, this Mustang Mach 1 has everything one could ever want from a cyberpunk-inspired concept. Everything from the mismatched wheels, with modern JDM build on the front and hot rod on the back, the giant blower, the wing, the additional lighting, and those crazy sidepipes.

The best part? The artist has depicted this Mustang's owner/driver lining up at a McDonald's drive-thru. Is the order placed by way of a holographic interface?

This other Mustang, meanwhile, also nails the cyberpunk aesthetic, with a few bits of graffiti and wear and tear in some places. It's also painted in a satin black color but features various purple accents on the wheels and the chassis components on the rear.

RELATED: 15 Little-Known Facts About The US Air Force's Custom Mustang X-1

The attention to detail by artist Timothy Adry is also spectacular, that detail coming in the form of the hacker gentleman resting on the hood performing some sort of "robot calibration" as the image seems to infer. Is the robot in question the car, perhaps?

Designed by Veer Design, this R31 Skyline takes its cyberpunk influence a step further, by featuring stuff from the game's lore, as well as the logo on the rear fender.

RELATED: 14 Pics Showing The Nissan GTR's Evolution

Like the others, everything about this car screams cyberpunk, from the glowing blue tires, to the X pattern on the headlights instead of conventional bulbs, and everything else in between.

Created by Basil Designs, this Huracan is nowhere near as insane when compared to the other cars on this list, but it's still very cyberpunk.

One of its standout features that puts it squarely into the future is the wheels. Though they seem to be inspired by Fifteen52 designs, the spokes themselves appear on the wheels as lights, without there being actual spokes. Combine that with the subtle widebody kit, and even though this Huracan is fairly subtle, it wouldn't look out of place in the future.

Everything about this Focus is just absolutely crazy. From the paint scheme, to the wing, to the bodywork in general, to the lights that it seems to have borrowed from the Renault Twin'Run concept, it encompasses everything a cyberpunk car should be.

Though the future of cars seems to be fully electric, these cyberpunk renders show what it might be like if old cars are still allowed on the roads 40 years later and allowed to be modified like this. If the future these renders predict does become a reality, then there's a lot of hope left for any generation of the gearhead, particularly the new ones.

Cyberpunk 2077’s Star-Studded Voice Actor Cast List | Game Rant – GameRant

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2020, and with the star power attached to voice-act in the game, that will come as little surprise to many players. Not only have fans been waiting for the game since its first teaser trailer wasreleased 8 years ago, but delays by The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red have only increased the hype surrounding its release.

As more TV and movie actors find high-profile work in video games, with Giancarlo Esposito now appearing in Far Cry 6 as the villain, fans have more and more reasons to be curious about the voices behind their favorite video games. CD Projekt Reds next RPG will be no exception; heres Cyberpunk 2077s star-studded voice actor cast list.

RELATED:How Cyberpunk 2077's 3 Starting Lifepaths Differ

By far, the biggest name in the game is Keanu Reeves, and the star of The Matrix and John Wickis far from content with a celebrity cameo. Reeves plays Johnny Silverhand, high-profile Rockerboy and lead singer of the anti-corporate band Samurai. Johnny is a character who first appeared in the pen-and-paper RPG Cyberpunk 2013, released in 1988. While he is believed to have died in the Cyberpunk universe in 2020, Johnny seems to have reappeared in 2077 as a "digital ghost" who will guide the player through Night City.

Not only does Keanu Reeves have the second most dialog inCyberpunk next to the player character, but the developers at CD Projekt Red say he helped write some of his dialog too. What Reeves Rockerboy has in store for the player remains to be seen, though hes sure to have his own agenda that may be at odds with some player characters, especially a corporate V.

Experimental singer Grimes makes her game debut as Lizzy Wizzy, frontwoman of Lizzy Wizzy and the Metadwarves. In a strange trend for the games biggest stars, Grimes character also isnt exactly alive per se. Describing the hour of gameplay she saw, Grimes said that Lizzy Wizzy commits suicide onstage at one of her performances, before a medical team revives her for the remainder of the concert by replacing her entire body with cybernetics.

The surrealnature of the character wont come as a surprise to any fans familiar with Grimes work, and though the size of her role has yet to be revealed, its likely to leave a lasting impact on players. The relationship between the world of subversive music and the violent consumerism of the corporate landscape has always been an interesting dynamic in the Cyberpunk games, and one sure to put Grimes Lizzy Wizzy in an interesting light compared with Keanu Reeves Johnny Silverhand.

Dex Deshawn has featured heavily in the gameplay and trailers released for Cyberpunk, working as a fixer who manages illegal contracts in Night City. The character is voiced by Michael Leon-Wooley, perhaps best known for a very different kind of role, playing Louis the Jazz-loving alligator in Disneys 2009 The Princess and the Frog.

The actor has cut his teeth on villainous video game roles as well, however, lending his voice to DCs Darkseid in the Injustice franchise. He has also done voices for GTA V, World of Warcraft: Legion, and Kings Quest. Said to have killer intuition and knowledge of almost everything going on in Night City, Leon-Wooleys DeShawn is sure to be a great asset to any player, if they can stay on his good side.

V is the player character in Cyberpunk 2077, and while there's 2 male and 2 female voice actors for V, it is likely that the other two actors listed, Lidia Sadowa and Kamil Kula, will only be playing V in the Polish-language version of the game, as CD Projekt Red has confirmed that players will not be able to customize Vs voice in Cyberpunk 2077 beyond two gender options.

Cherami Leigh will be providing the female voice for V in the English version of the game and is a video game veteran, having lent her versatile talent to the voices of Caeda, Gwendolyn, Cecilia, Mae, and Rhea in Fire Emblem, and Makoto in Persona 5. The male voice for V will be provided by Gavin Drea, who played Sergeant Cooper in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and so will be no stranger to surreal sci-fi settings.

CD Projekt Red has stated that either of these voices can be chosen by any character of any body type, with Jonkers saying that the choice was made in the hopes of giving players the freedom to make their own character and play the way they want to play. The developer has come under fire for some of the depictions of trans peoplein Cyberpunkrevealed so far, so whether Jonkers aim will be realized ultimately remains to be seen in the final project.

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077 Team is Trying to Set a New 'Benchmark'

The world of Cyberpunk is filled with familiar voices from across games, TV, movies, and theatre. Samuel Barnett, best known for originating the role of David Posner in Alan Bennets play The History Boys and the film of the same name, as well as starring with Elijah Woods in the BBC America adaptation of Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency, voices the car AI featured in the 2019 E3 Cyberpunk cinematic trailer.

Jason Hightower from Red Dead 2 and Fallout 76 plays Jackie Welles, who meets his end in that same trailer, though with digital ghosts and cybernetic bodies abound, the extent of his role in-game remains to be seen. Mark Holden, best known for Kingsman 2 and Final Destination, voices Doctor Paradox, an underground conspiracy publisher who aims to shake up the masses.

These are just some of the voice talents players have been able to glean from the teasers and gameplay released over Cyberpunks long development cycle. Considering how well kept a secret even Keanu Reeves involvement was until its big E3 reveal, it is likely there are many voices players will recognize diffused across the streets of Night City, and many more they will get to know.

Cyberpunk 2077will releaseNovember 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions to follow.

Night City Life spoke about playstyles in Cyberpunk 2077, stating that there wont be accolades for playing the game in a certain way CDPR wouldnt want to coax players into any set style.

A style like Pacifist run is applicable; however, it wont unlock an achievement.

Check Out This Champion Beatboxer Cover the Cyberpunk 2077 Theme Music – Beebom

If you know about the upcoming Keanu Reaves starred, one of the most hyped video games of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077, then you might be familiar with the awesome theme song of the game. However, what you might not be familiar with is this insane cover of the techno theme music of the game by this crazy beatboxer.

Going by the name Improver, the guy won the Russian Beatbox Championship last year, as stated in his Instagram bio. Well, lets just say he deserved it and theres a reason he won the competition. It is because he is that good in his area of expertise. Just take a look at the video below and tell me he is not insane (I dare you!).

Now, as you can see, he has a madly talented pair of lips, throat, and voice modulation capability. And as he specializes in the techno genre, covering this piece from the upcoming sci-fi RPG game was a breeze for Improver.

After winning the Russian Beatbox Championship, Improver made quite a lot of amazing videos for his YouTube Channel. However, going by all his profiles, the guy did not, in any platform, share his name. All we know is that he is from Ulyanovsk, Russia, and is a pro beatboxer.

Now, coming to Cyberpunk 2077. From earlier reports, we know how much hype is around the upcoming video game. But the dystopian RPG is being delayed for quite a long time now. After an initial delay in launch, the game was set to come in September. However, recently the date was again moved further to November 19.

Xbox Teases What to Expect From July Games Showcase – Halo, Cyberpunk 2077, Exclusive Games & More | – TechQuila

With the Xbox Games Showcase fast approaching, weve slowly been getting more information regarding what to expect. Weve already known that Microsoft will be mainly showcasing their first-party games, along with a dash of 3rd party reveals. Well, a new social media post has given us some small hints regarding what games and service announcements we might be getting at the event.

Of course, weve known for a while that Halo: Infinite will be the main event here. The franchise is Xboxs biggest, most recognizable mascot, and the game is also a launch title for the Xbox Series X. Of course well be getting a hefty chunk of gameplay with it. Other than that, we now can expect the following to be the focus of the event:

Well alright, it might look a little underwhelming here. But regarding first-party exclusives, I think we can all expect some big announcements. Rumors have been going around regarding revivals of classic franchises like Fable and Perfect Dark. We also have other unannounced games like Everwild (Rare), The Medium (Bloober), Hellblade 2, and possibly more.

Of course, there are no teases for Xbox Series S, but that might be revealed at a later date. In any case, an Xbox Series S reveal should go over well for fans, with a lower price for entry into next-gen games. If you can pay a significantly lower cost for experiencing the same features, albeit at a lower resolution, then it makes sense that more people would be interested in that.

Weve seen how Xboxs idea of exclusives is very different from Sonys PlayStation franchises. Xbox is a little more open platform, with their exclusive games being available on PC on release day. Theyre even more affordable thanks to Xbox Game Pass, which makes it easier for newer players to try out their exclusives for a low monthly fee. Theyre even making sure that next-gen upgrades are free of cost for current-gen console owners.

Xbox Games Showcase will take place on July 23, 2020.

CD Projekt Red tribute shows Kojima as a Cyberpunk 2077 character – PC Gamer

Hideo Kojima is always a very stylish boy, but his Cyberpunk 2077 doppelganger might have him beat. To congratulate him and the Kojima Productions team on the PC launch of Death Stranding, CD Projekt Red went and turned him into a Cyberpunk 2077 character.

The designer got an early look at Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2018 when he visited CD Projekt Red, and the following year he popped over to the studio's Tokyo Game Show booth to have his picture taken on one of the game's very flashy motorbikes. This photo op appears to have been the inspiration for the excellent Cyberpunk 2077 art that is now gracing Twitter.

There are quite a few common threads connecting Cyberpunk 2077 and the games Kojima has worked on. Transhumanism, irresponsible use of technology, immersive sim shenanigansthey share a lot. Death Stranding's bikes even look a lot like Cyberpunk 2077's.

It might just be a nice gift from Cyberpunk's artists to Kojima, but given that it looks a bit like an in-game model, it does make me wonder if Kojima will actually be hanging out in Night City for players to find. During Cyberpunk 2077's Night Wire livestream, it was revealed that streamers would be getting cameos for some reason, so there's already a precedent.

Kojima, of course, is no stranger to cameos. Death Stranding is full of them, with Kojima (as a goo monster), Geoff Keighly, Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Conan O'Brien all cropping up. He also snuck into Control and can be recruited in Metal Gear Solid 5.

I've reached out to CDPR to find out if we'll be able to find Kojima scooting around on his cool bike in November. In the meantime, check out Andy Kelly's Cyberpunk 2077 hands-on.

Shrapnel adds 20 additional damage to all previous garnet effects. Grenadier make the explosion radius of grenades visible to you. Reverse engineering lets you take off weapon mods. You cant touch this make yourself immune to the effects of your grenades.

Furthermore, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature five distinct items quality levels epic, rare, iconic, ordinary, and legendary. Out of the five, the iconic level can be seen as one of a kind that players using guns can pick after the conquering Royce.

Another update that will play an important part in Cyberpunk 2077 is the players ability to change the clothing without being coaxed to use underpowered equipment. In the preview, there were mentions of the ability to add fabric mod to sneakers to give them armor rating.

Another update will be Cyberwares bringing unique play styles to the game. Heres what to expect:

Mantis Blades Happens to be the most famous cyberware in the game. The mighty blades protrude from Vs forearm, and several fragments are available. Blood pump Installed in the cardiovascular system slot. It activates at a certain point in time and improves healing. Micro-rotors Passive cyberware in the nervous system that improves movement speed and precision Reflex tuners are triggered by cyberware and activates slow motion as soon as your health falls below a critical value. Gorilla Hands Logically installed in the hands and vastly improves your strength and melee strength. There are also several fragments here. Monowire The cyberware houses a fiber optic lasso in your arm that you can use to slice opponents in slices easily. The quick hack function via the Monowire is probably one of the fragments. Krenzikov We first encountered this cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 as a booster spray, but it also exists as an implant for your nervous system. The trigger activates a slow-motion effect as soon as you have successfully avoided an enemy attack. Synlungs Artificial lungs that are installed in the cardiovascular system and improve the regeneration of your endurance.

Night City Life spoke about playstyles in Cyberpunk 2077, stating that there wont be accolades for playing the game in a certain way CDPR wouldnt want to coax players into any set style.

A style like Pacifist run is applicable; however, it wont unlock an achievement.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19th.

Cyberpunk 2077: where to buy the collectors editions and other cool merch deals – VG247

With the Cyberpunk 2077 release date getting closer by the day, we thought wed take a look at the vast amount of gear, novelties, figurines and other merch available for CD Projekt REDs upcoming sci-fi role-playing game.Because nothing says I wanna live in a corpo-controlled world and hand over my hard earned bucks in exchange for needless plastic, baby better than shopping at an online retailer. Seriously though, who doesnt want a cute pocket-sized Keanu to talk to when your partner has left you because you collect too many Funko Pops? Not me, and frankly, Ive got more shelf space for tat now I live alone. So alone.

Lets take a look at some screamin hot merch deals to distract us from the 2020 hellscape.

First up, where to buy Cyberpunk 2077? Literally anywhere, but theres a few variations depending on how much you want to spend, and if you want to go the whole hog and buy a Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox or controller to go with it. Heres the basics, buster.

In the US, you can get the basic Cyberpunk 2077 game on PS4, PC or Xbox One on Amazon. Theres a Special Edition available too with all sorts of cool shit including an amazing statue of V in action, but thats currently sold out. You can add it to your list though, and get a notification if it comes back in stock before release.

In the UK, Amazon is selling Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4, Xbox One and PC for 49.99 with three Night City postcards. It also has the Limited Edition 1TB Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X for a whopping 440 if you really want to pay through the nose. You can buy that now and youll get your game code when its released on November 19.

If you want to get something Cyberpunk 2077 in your hands right now you can grab the official Xbox One X controller in the US, or PS4 owners can whack the Cyberpunk 2077 SteelSeries wireless headset on their domes. You can get those headsets in the UK for PS4, PC and Switch, but the Xbox versions are currently out of stock.

If you want to overdose on the world that CD Projekt is creating, you can pick up the World of Cyberpunk 2077, a deluxe book that comes with postcards and tattoos. Or why not pick up Cyberpunk 2020, the original pen and paper role-playing game that inspired the video game? That flies in an out of stock quickly so you might want to grab it while you can.

All of the above is pretty standard stuff though. What are you going to do with those disposable credits youve got cluttering up your neon-hued apartment? Buy something ridiculous, thats what.

The biggie is this Johnny Silverhand 12 inch Deluxe Figure from MacFarlane Toys. You can pop little Keanu Reeves on your desk and tell him how breathtaking he is, or just quietly speculate on how bad Bill & Ted 3 is going to be.

It comes in at under $35 on Amazon US, or just over 36 in the United of Kingdom.

While were here, theres a bunch more Cyberpunk 2077 figures you might want to look at;

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on November 19. We recently went hands-on with it, and its shaping up to be something very special. Watch the latest gameplay above.

CD Projekt Red is continuing to release little teasers for Cyberpunk 2077 to tide us over until the games new release date in November. This week, the studio is returning to concept art again, this time giving us a view of Santo Domingo, one of Night Citys oldest districts.

Concept art isnt normally the most exciting thing, but CD Projekt Red has been releasing lore tidbits alongside these images, building up the world and giving us an idea of what were in for when we first step foot in Night City.

In this instance, we are looking at several shots of Santo Domingo, an area of Night City that the corporations use as a testing ground for industrial projects. The residents of this district are said to be making a desperate living with many living in crowded megabuildings.

Last week, CD Projekt Red also gave us a look at Night Citys centre, full of sleek skyscrapers owned by the corporations. This section of the city is the most fortified and protected.

Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Speaks About The Importance Of Diversity And Inclusion – GameSpot

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has shared new insight and commentary around what diversity and inclusion means to the studio and for the upcoming much-anticipated RPG.

In an Polish interview translated by CDPR on its website, executive Adam Kicinski started off by mentioning that CDPR's development team comprises people from across political and social spectrums. "Our team comprises all sorts of people, leaning left or right on legal, economic, and worldview issues--not to mention several dozen nationalities, multiple ethnic groups and many LGBT individuals," Kicinski said. "We pride ourselves on our diversity, but we also realize that efficient operation requires active measures promoting mutual respect and tolerance."

Another CDPR executive, Adam Badowski, said it's important for the company to embrace and support diversity and inclusion, in will lead to better products.

"In an environment where you can simply be yourself it becomes easier to have frank discussions, share ideas, and express opinions--and that provides a starting point for many interesting activities," he said. "When a revolution in RPGs takes place, it is because a team of bold women and men has had the audacity to express its ideas."

Badowski went on to say that, for Cyberpunk 2077, CDPR is attempting to give players the freedom to express themselves with the character they create. The story, meanwhile, aims to be "bold, mature, and astute," Badowski said.

"Our game is quite liberal when it comes to gender modification," Badowski said. "The whole issue is regarded as relatively minor compared to the need to express ones personal style--and this provides for much greater fluidity. I truly hope that, much like in the case of The Witcher games, Cyberpunk 2077 will surprise everyone with how many bold, mature, and astute narratives can be conveyed by the video game medium. I will gladly come back to this issue after the November release once I'm at liberty to share more information."

Finally, Kicinski said the wider entertainment industry generally supports and welcomes diversity, even if this wasn't always the case in the past. However, Kicinski observed that the video game business specifically is more agile than film, TV, and music.

"We learn a lot from the shortcomings and accomplishments of our colleagues from the motion picture, literature, and music industries, and I suppose we may be faster at implementing certain novel mechanisms," he said. "Way back in the 20th century the superb writer Andre Norton (born Alice Mary Norton) chose to publish under a male pseudonym because her publisher believed that the masculinized readership demographic would not take interest in fantasy authored by a woman. There is no such issue with video games."

Kicinski acknowledged that the video game industry still has problems, including the sexualization of female characters. But he contends that these issues are now being spoken about and addressed "in the open" in an effort to change them. "Sexual orientation is in a similar position. What had long been taboo in mainstream motion pictures is now turning what it should have been from the outset: stories of human romance rather than accounts of the struggle for the right to be accepted," he said.

You can read the full interview here on CDPR's website.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 19. Next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X will be available for free.

Wyrd Games Goes Retro With 80s Cyberpunk Themed Nightmare Edition – TheGamer

The new minis from Wyrd are just about ready to jack into GenCon, in a Cyberpunk 1988 themed limited edition set for Malifaux.

The new minis from Wyrd are just about ready to jack into GenCon, in a Cyberpunk 1988 themed limited edition set for Malifaux.

Malifaux, now in its third edition, is a tabletop miniature combat game that sees small groups fight it out in skirmish battles. Originally launched in 2009 at GenCon, it last received the update treatment in June 2019, with a streamlined edition that gave easier games to play. The Nightmare Edition releases are a limited edition set of themed miniatures that can be used in Malifaux and usually launched in conjunction with GenCon. This year sees the second set for the third edition, following the popular pirate-themed set from last year.

RELATED: Despite Speculation, Cyberpunk 2077 Will Not Be On Game Pass

The 1980s was a strange time indeed, and it is easy to see how it would fit in with Malifaux's alternative history version. Looking back we shudder at the fashion faux-pas, the leg warmers, shoulder pads, parachute pants, spandex, and well... hair! It also bore some of the greatest movies of all time:The Goonies, Back to the Future, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, and of course Bladerunner.

While Bladerunner didn't start cyberpunk, it has had a big influence on the genre ever since it's release in 1982. It's no wonder then that it would be up there with the choices for this year's limited edition minis. Factor in that CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be out by now, the deal was in the bag. The set of six minis pull on all the right heartstrings, with a unique aesthetic right out of the era. Ittaking influence not just from Bladerunner, but other 80s movies like Mad Max. The art style also fits in with the 80s game culture sparked by the British games studio Games Workshop with titles like Dark Future and Chainsaw Warrior.

The Six minis are direct replacements for the Mei Feng Core Box. Gumdrop replaces Mei Feng; Mean Streak replaces Kang; King Crybaby, MadMop, and Tag Line replace the Railworkers and Spritz a robotic crab-like goldfish thing classed as a Forgeling. You also get stylized crew cards!

Malifaux Nightmare Edition Cyberpunk 1988 will be available from the Wyrd Games web store for a limited time only during the GenCon Virtual event.

New Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberware Info Revealed | Game Rant – GameRant

A new Cyberpunk 2077 preview reveals more information about how Cyberware will work, such as Cyberware rarities and the number of slots.

A new Cyberpunk 2077 preview reveals fresh information about the game's Cyberware gameplay. Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED itself has also shared much more information about the game over the last few weeks, giving fans a look at Cyberpunk 2077's Braindance gameplay among other things.

A Cyberpunk 2077 preview published by German publication NightCityLife and translated by fans on Reddit, has revealed how many Cyberware slots players will be able to work with. There are 19 spaces for Cyberware in total:brain (three slots), eyes, cardiovascular system (three slots), immune system (two slots), peripheral nervous system (two slots), skin (three slots), operating system (one slot), and skeletal system (one slot for hands, one slot for arms, and one slot for each leg).

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077 Character Judy Revealed

The preview also gives fans an idea of some of the Cyberware that they can expect to see in the game. One piece of Cyberware is the Mantis Blades, which gives player character V huge blades protruding from their forearms, there's also the passive Micro-rotors Cyberware which offers better movement speed and precision, and Gorilla Hands which gives V more melee strength. Fans were also able to see the Cyberoptics piece of Cyberware intheCyberpunk 2077 gameplay video from 2018, while CD Projekt RED has also teased Cyberware such as a double jump.

While CD Projekt RED hasn't confirmed much about the Cyberpunk 2077 loot system, the preview did give fans new information about item rarity. There will be six loot rarities:ordinary, unusual, rare, epic, legendary, and iconic. Cyberware will also have these rarities and some pieces of Cyberware couldneed more than one slot to be installed.

Fans will be glad to hear this information, but many will want to know when they'll be able to see some gameplay of it. CD Projekt RED did show more gameplay as part of the game's Night City Wire event, but this barely touched upon some of the biggest questions that fans have. Fans haven't seen any romance gameplayand have also asked to see gameplay of perks and character clothing.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge game, meaning that it is likely very difficult for CD Projekt RED to answer all of fans' questions at once. However, the developer has confirmed plans to do another Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire event and fans could get to see much more gameplay then.

Cyberpunk 2077comes out on November 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions to follow.

Cyberpunk Books – Goodreads

Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a future setting that tends to focus on society as "high tech low life" featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as information technology and cybernetics, juxtaposed with a degree of breakdown or radical change in the social order.

Cyberpunk plots often center on conflict among artificial intelligences, hackers, and among megacorporations, and tend to be set in a near-future Earth, rather than in the far-future settings or galactic vistas found in novels such as Isaac Asimov's Foundation or Frank Herbert's Dune. The settings are usually post-industrial dystopias but tend to feature extraordinary cultural ferment and the use of technology in ways never anticipated by its original inventors ("the street finds its own uses for things"). Much of the genre's atmosphere echoes film noir, and written works in the genre often use techniques from detective fiction.

Classic cyberpunk characters were marginalized, alienated loners who lived on the edge of society in generally dystopic futures where daily life was impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.Lawrence Person

Cyberpunk 2077: 5 Confirmed Things From The Tabletop (& 5 We Hope They’ll Use) – GameRant

Folks at CD Projekt Redcontinue to excite fans with news after news onCyberpunk 2077, an upcoming cyberpunk RPG based on theCyberpunkTTRPG. Moreover, thanks to the depth of mechanics involved inCyberpunk, it's no questionCyberpunk 2077will have some of the TTRPG's mechanics in its gameplay. Additionally, this factor means players will likely encounter the same set of basic rules and concepts. As such, these concepts include classes, the same depth in abilities, and potentially the same narrative depth of the setting.

RELATED: Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Pro Tips On Playing Its Tabletop Version, Cyberpunk 2020

However, given the depth of theCyberpunkTTRPG,what features will make it to the game? And of the features left untouched in the game, which ones should be added?

Protagonist V in Cyberpunk 2077 not only gets access to three Life Paths or backgrounds but also a starting class. However, unlike the more class-oriented TTRPG, Cyberpunk 2077 offers class fluidity. Instead of the originalnine classes (or roles) from the TTRPG, Cyberpunk 2077 introduces three "core" classes: Solo, Netrunner, and Techie. However, players are free to expand these roles depending on their preferred specializations.

For instance, the Solo specializes in combat and skirmishes, thanks to their enhanced senses and abilities. Meanwhile, Netrunners specialize in hacking and tinkering with cyberdecks to steal information and manipulate the digital space. Lastly, the Techie specializes in tinkering with various tools and gadgets to use to their advantage.

Having only three base classes seems a bit underwhelming considering the TTRPG actually has moreoptions. For instance, Johnny Silverhand is a Rockerboy. In the TTRPG, they're able to inspire and lead others against authority.

Other classes interact better with certain demographics in Night City. For example, Corporates and Cops have better connections with the higher-ups and rich folks in the city. Meanwhile, MedTechs heal others and Medias investigate and report on the news.

Additionally, Fixers "make things happen" with their persuasion skills. And lastly, Nomads are well-versed in survival and making do. CD Projekt Red will hopefully include these class options in potential expansions. Moreover, these classes' specializations give the game great replayable potential.

Life in Night City isn't easy, regardless of a person's walk of life. In Cyberpunk 2077, players get to choose a Life Path for V, which establishes a premise and a background for their introduction to the game's setting.

For instance, the StreetKid Life Path introduces V as someonereturning to their hometown of Night Cityafter years of staying in Atlanta. Meanwhile, the Corpo-Rat puts V as a mid-tier corporate in Night City who wants to acquire a more secure post. Lastly, the Nomad puts V as someone looking at Night City as a place where dreams come true.

However, eagle-eyed fans might notice that the Life Path choice seems to be a "simplified" version of the prototype shown in the 2018 gameplay reveal. In that particular event, viewers could see the Life Path option as a "Background Check," with players able to choose V's Childhood Hero, Key Life Event, andreason to visit Night City.

RELATED: 10 Pro Tips To Create A Cyberpunk D&D Campaign

In the TTRPG, players have a depth of options for their Life Path. Aside from their appearance and basic background, Life Path choices include parentage, hopes, and aspirations, or even potential enemies. When fleshed out, all of these can provide easy sources of scenarios that can be tackled in-game.

Thanks to the fluid nature of the class system, V can specialize in a myriad of things depending on the player's point allocation and perk choice. In Cyberpunk 2077, V has a basic set of attributes that determine their natural traits. Inside these attributes are certain skills. Moreover, perks provide much-needed upgrades and flavor to add a specialized spin to whatever skill that perk fits into.

For instance, the Body Attribute is connected to the Melee skill. Moreover, they can put a Perk called Dragon Strike into their Melee skill, enabling them to deal 15% bonus damage for strong attacks with melee weapons.

More observant players might notice that a majority of the skills featured in Cyberpunk 2077have something to do with fighting. For instance, certain attributes connect with certain weapons. While this in itself is awesome, CD Projekt Red should consider adding more non-combat skills in V's arsenal. That way, players can find more creative ways to deal with problems and solve solutions without necessarily having to shoot bosses or sneak.

For instance, in the TTRPG, players have access to seven sets of skills, each connected to an Attribute. However, only those under the Reflex Attribute are considered combat skills, as the rest deal with Netrunning, conversations, and observation.

As an FPS, Cyberpunk 2077 fans likely look forward to the sheer awesomeness of combat in the game. Aside from the futuristic weapons, fans are able to use special perks and even cybernetic augmentations to grant them advantages in combat.

RELATED: 10 Reasons Why The Forgotten World Of Warcraft TTRPG Is A Must-Try

Aside from the versatility of combat, there are also Netrunning and cyberdecks. Players are capable of hacking into various interfaces and even on enemies to ruin their defenses with viruses or daemons. Thanks to having these options, players can always approach combat in different ways.

Combat in Cyberpunk 2077 is fast and deadly. Thanks to cybernetics and weapon upgrades, players can easily tip the scales to their favor regardless of the situation. However, perhaps one element devs can add from the TTRPG would be an active Stun/Shock Save mechanic.

In the TTRPPG, getting hit by an attack will always trigger Stun/Shock Saves to determine the body's response to the immediate force that hit them. For instance, failing that save will stun the player for a set duration. Having these saves might be inconvenient at first, but they do convey the message that players need to be careful as their weapons now are much more power than before.

Fans of the TTRPG will be delighted to know that a lot of prominent companies from the original Cyberpunk 2020 game have made it to Cyberpunk 2077. As such, players will be able to see the differences between companies such asArasaka and how they interact with the many people that live in Night City.

However, players should also take this opportunity to familiarize themselves with the appearances and mannerisms of members of these companies. After all, one of them might be their next target.

In Cyberpunk 2077, players see Netrunning as a means to infiltrate enemy networks or even disrupt an enemy's weapon or movement. Moreover, the Braindance mechanic allows players to "see" events from the perspective of NPCs. However, CD Projekt Red should probably include the full iteration of Netrunning mechanics from the TTRPG.

In the TTRPG, Netrunning is much more intense it is an entirely different event that can happen even during battles. Through Netrunning, players can disrupt entire companies, put in malicious programs, or even perform multi-layered heists.

New Cyberpunk 2077 district revealed, and it looks gorgeous – PCGamesN

Weve already got some idea of what the Cyberpunk 2077 map will look like, thanks to combination of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplayfootage, teases from developer CD Projekt Red, and eagle-eyed fans efforts to decipher what Night Citys got to offer fromthe clues so far.It seemsthere are six Cyberpunk 2077 districts, and now another of those has been unveiled, via some CDPR concept art.

The devs shared some images of Westbrook on Twitter, explaining that the region is considered by many to be the best place to live and have fun in Night City, which is certainly clear in the pictures. In one particular shot, we can see a crystal clear water feature surrounded by a semi-landscaped vale peppered with palm trees, and overlooked by an impressive, enormously opulent, waterfall-fronted casino and club.

If youve got eddies, the post continues, you come here to spend them. And if you dont? Well, take out a loan and pretend youre on top of the world even for just one glorious night.

The otherpiecespresent an image of Night City more familiar from much of the footage andartwork weve seen so far, with high-rise scrapers, and layers of concrete and neon civilisation though thepretty scenery does peep through, reminding us its theplayground for Cyberpunks wealthy elites.

Westbrook is home to Night Citys Japantown, a cultural epicentre for theJapanese community, as well as a hotspot for theRPG gamesrich and famous.

You can find the new concept images above.
