itunes.apple.com Seven years old, you heard me cry I don #39;t wanna say goodbye To the only man that I love My daddy and everything he was I don #39;t think I can live without you Dad, I know you #39;re breaking in two With tears running down his face He says we #39;re gonna make it We #39;re gonna make it [CHORUS] When you feel like you are all alone Just like your best friend up and gone Don #39;t worry now Don #39;t worry now I #39;ve been there yeah, I know how it feels To wonder if love is even real Don #39;t worry now Don #39;t worry now It #39;s gonna be ok I #39;ve been trying to find a way to understand When I can #39;t see the picture of God #39;s plan Why would He let us hurt so bad? Could anything good come of these feelings that I have? He loved me more than the sand on beaches He loved me more than the grass is green And even though he had to go I always knew his love was part of me, yeah When you feel like you are all alone Just like your best friend up and gone Don #39;t worry now Don #39;t worry now I #39;ve been there yeah, I know how it feels To wonder if love is even real Don #39;t worry now Don #39;t worry now It #39;s taken so long to let this go It #39;s taken so long to feel that You #39;re right here next to me And I can finally breathe It #39;s taken so long but now I know I had to find out on my own When nothing could convince me Your love it convinced me That it #39;s gonna be ok When you feel like you are all alone Just like your best friend up and gone Don #39;t worry now Don #39;t worry now I #39;ve been there yeah, I know how it feels To wonder ...From:InstrumentalPraiseViews:0 0ratingsTime:04:06More inMusic

Beach algae still causing red alert

More NSW beaches have been closed as red algal blooms are spotted along much of the state's coast.

Large streaks of red algae were spotted off North Wollongong beach on Thursday and Clovelly, Bronte and Tamarama beaches were all shut.

On the city's northern beaches, Bilgola, Mona Vale, Palm Beach and Newport were also closed due to outbreaks, while splashings of red algae were spotted at Newcastle.

'We were out fishing at Stockton this morning and we came across a little bit out there,' Newcastle Surf Life Saving Club president Brad Kinniard told AAP.

It was the first time he had seen a red bloom, despite being in the area for more than 25 years, he said.

A spokesman for the NSW Office of Water said there were also sightings of the tomato-juice coloured blooms as far south as Batemans Bay, which while not formally identified, were likely to be Noctiluca scintillans, which is caused by an upwelling of colder nutrient-rich water.

He said it was difficult to predict whether the warmer weather forecast for the weekend would increase bloom outbreaks.

'It's really up to mother nature and the current weather and ocean conditions prevailing,' he told AAP on Thursday.

A bloom was first spotted at Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach at 6.30am (AEDT) on Tuesday, with subsequent outbreaks at Clovelly Beach and Gordons Bay.

Also called 'red tide' or 'fire in the sea', the algae is non-toxic but contains high ammonia levels that can cause minor skin irritation if you swim in it.

Red algae bloom closes Sydney's beaches, but probably not for long

Dont worry. Its not blood. Its not even poisonous, just an irritant to skin and eyes and to anyone hoping for a swim now that summers finally about to hit Sydney.

A red algae bloom has closed 10 beaches so far in and around Sydney and up the more northerly Central Coast in Australia during the past 24 hours. And more beach closures could be on the way, say officials. But aside from some startlingly other-world pictures, it's not likely to scare away the tourists.

QUIZ TIME Think you know Asia? take this quiz.

The "crimson tide," or an algal bloom that has variously been compared to shark attacks or oily tomato sauce in the Aussie media, washed up on Sydney shores earlier this week, temporarily closing famed tourist beaches like Bondi. But it doesn't seem like too many around here are worried.

Turns out the blood-colored algal bloom isnt a result of pollution, but rather an upswelling of nutrient-rich waters that the buoyant algae can feed off. Two different blooms have apparently come from the same source and essentially floated to Sydneys shores. Their ammonia-rich diet can cause skin and eye irritations but little else problematic, according to experts.

"This bloom has likely occurred as a result of the upwelling of nutrient-rich deep ocean water on to the continental shelf," the Metropolitan Sydney, South Coast, and Hunter Regional Algal Coordinating Committees told media Tuesday. They said tests had identified the algae as noctiluca scintillans or "Sea Sparkle" (for its phosphorescence) and pointed out that most algal blooms last around a week.

Despite the closure of Sydneys favorite beaches on the cusp of a hot summer and a possible heat wave of a weekend, with temperatures predicted to pass 100 Fahrenheit its doubtful this red tide will cause any longstanding problems either for locals or the tourism industry. And in the meantime, not all of Sydney's beaches are closed, and there are plenty of hotels with swimming pools.

And anyway, Australia has faced much worse in the water: Real blood in the water with the odd shark attacks, or stings from one of the many species of box jellyfish like the Chironex fleckeri, the worlds most venomous animal. The sting from this particular jellyfish can cause death in minutes, according to Australian jellyfish experts.

It will take much more to keep people from hitting Sydney's beaches.

Red beaches glow blue

Video will begin in 5 seconds.

The crashing waves of Bondi and Coogee caught onlookers by surprise as blue light shone from the water, a product of the recent algae infestation.

The algae that turned some of Sydney's beaches red this week is making the ocean glow blue at night.

The striking blue light was spotted at Bondi and Coogee beaches late on Wednesday night, as well as south of Sydney.

I've never seen anything like it in my life. It was like something from space.

Laurence Palmer was leaving dinner with his girlfriend at Bondi when he looked out to sea and noticed the glow.

"The most amazing blue light could be seen coming from the ocean. People were standing and staring at the incredible natural light show," he said. "When the waves crashed the sea was turning blue."

A marine microbiologist from University of Technology Sydney, Justin Seymour, said the algae glows when the water is agitated, leaving a trail of neon blue.

Australia beaches reopen after red algal bloom

Beaches around southeastern Australia's coastline reopened after a red algal bloom that glowed a phosphorescent blue at night forced them to close to the public.

The algae, noctiluca scintillans, forced swimmers and surfers out of the water at Sydney's Bondi and a number of neighbouring beaches earlier this week, and it spread along the fringes of two states.

One of the worst affected beaches, Clovelly in Sydney, reopened Friday, just in time for a predicted heatwave over the weekend.

"There is no sign of the red algal bloom that kept the beach closed from Tuesday to Thursday this week," the local council said, a sentiment echoed by other councils along the city's northern beaches.

"It is now safe to swim, at the moment," a Surf Life Saving NSW official told reporters.

"We'll continue to monitor the situation."

Aerial footage shot over parts of New South Wales and neighbouring Victoria state showed huge blooms of the oily red to pink scum this week, which has a fishy odour and can irritate the skin and eyes but is not dangerous to humans.

One of the most striking features was the way it glowed blue at night, earning it the nickname "sea sparkle".

The Sydney South Coast and Hunter Regional Algal Coordinating Committees said the blooms typically occur as a result of currents bringing cold, nutrient-rich water to the surface.
