Rehabilitation is a journey shared by the patient and staff. Our common goal is to restore independence to the person who has suffered an incident causing significant disability. The patient is often in a very complex physical and mental state resulting from the injury. Our department stuff comprises rehabilitation physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, and a dietitian -- all working as a team under the direction of a specialist rehabilitation physician. The department is equipped with state of the art technology, such as our innovative gait lab, the "Lukomat" robotic system for practicing walking, virtual reality technology, and a hydrotherapy pool.
