Clockwork, by Obol
Music video for Obol #39;s song "Clockwork". Matched up with visuals from ROSA, a hyper kinetic and futuristic film short. Both share themes about freewill and destiny, so it seemed like a good match. More about OBOL - Obol is an up-and-coming Seattle rock band, in the genre of Porcupine Tree, Live, Devin Townsend, Radiohead and Marillion. They make beautiful music that is also a little progressive and dark. You can read the lyrics to Clockwork and hear many other Obol songs at http://www.obolband.com. More about ROSA - ROSA is a sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind #39;s last attempt to restore the earth #39;s ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival. The short-film was created entirely by young comic-artist Jess Orellana with no budget during a single year. Since it #39;s world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival, ROSA has been an official selection at film festivals around the world such as Screamfest, Toronto After Dark, Anima Mundi and the Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival. Following a successful festival run, the short film has attracted the attention of the major talent-agencies and Hollywood producers. Currently ROSA is in development to be a live-action motion picture. If you like it, share the video and spread the word about Obol and ROSA!From:pygmydynamoViews:2 0ratingsTime:05:39More inMusic
