Fans Reveal Frustration Over ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Station 19’ Crossovers Weekly – TV Shows Ace

Most fans of Greys Anatomy have watched the show for years. Recently they added a spin-off calledStation 19. A lot of people watch both shows, but not everyone jumped on board with the new series. Now fans are sharing their frustration over the fact that they are basically a crossover every week.

Some weeks they callGreys Anatomy andStation 19 a crossover. Other weeks, it just happens to be that way. This season they have really started making the two hours worth of television seem like one big show. One big part of it is that Avery is now dating a character onStation 19 meaning that he will show up on that series a lot.

This week they are advertising a blizzard crossover event. When the episode is revealed that way, fans know they have to watch both. Other weeks you could be confused if you only watch one or decide to watchGreys first.

Fans are not very happy about the way that this is happening lately. Some like to watch both shows and others only watch one of them. The other thing is that if you use a DVR normally you could choose which one you would prefer to watch first. That isnt an option anymore. You now need to watchStation 19 first so you arent confused.

This seems like it is a way to bring in new viewers, but instead, it appears they are turning off some of their faithful fans.Greys Anatomy has been able to make it through a few really big cast changes. Now with the exit of Justin Chambers basically being ignored and the crossover events some fans are just done.

After a promo for both shows aired duringThe Bachelor, fans went to Twitter to air their frustrations. Here are a few of the tweets from fans.

I watch Grey's Anatomy I do NOT watch Station19! I gave Station19 a chance on the night it first aired back after the car crashed through the Windows of the bar but I soon realized that Station19 didn't do much of anything after getting that door unstuck therefore it is boring!

~Jasmine~~M~~Murray~ (@JasMarieMurray) February 24, 2020

So I havent watched Greys Anatomy all season. do I need to watch Station 19 and Greys back to back for each new episode? @GreysABC @Station19

Diamond Dawn (@DropOfADime_) February 25, 2020

Stop with the Station 19/Greys Anatomy cross overs!!

Meredith Mannier (@MereMannier) February 17, 2020

The viewers will just have to wait and see if the writers listen and decide to changes things up. For now, dont miss new episodes of Greys AnatomyandStation 19 on Thursday nights on ABC. You will probably need to watch both.

Bob Larson: The Anatomy of an Exorcism – Video

Bob Larson: The Anatomy of an Exorcism
This particular clip is a good "teaching" one on what Exorcism is all about -- Bob Larson explains each step as he goes along. Exorcism is not just screaming at a demon -- it #39;s about finding out the "legal rights" the spirit used to get inside of someone, and finding the "stronghold" that keeps the demon from leaving. It #39;s about forgiving people and renouncing curses. A person can be a Christian and still have a demon inside -- but let me tell you, the demon is mighty uncomfortable in that situation! On this video, you #39;ll see how the Bible and the Cross gives a demon great pain! In Janet #39;s case, she had a curse going back 34 generations -- Bob brings out an "ancestral alter personality" who tells what happened. Janet was having severe physical problems -- it turns out the demons of "Infirmity", "Death", "Suffering" and "Moloch" were present, and were causing her great pain in her pelvic area. And the demons entered her when she had an abortion -- "Moloch" and "Murder" uses abortion as an entryway to get into a person. As you #39;ll see in the video, Janet felt a LOT better afterwards -- and she discovered her stomach area was "flatter" -- that #39;s where she was having her problems, and it looks like the demons were taking up a bit of "space"! But, the "bad tenants" were "evicted" -- that #39;s what exorcism is all about! If you would like Bob Larson to help you, find out when Bob will be in your area at http://www.boblarson.org and click on "Events" or call 303-980-1511. Fringe Review: About a Boy

The world may not be coming to an end, but the final season of Fringe draws closer to its own dramatic conclusion.

"Anomaly XB-6783746" was another chapter in the search for answers and hunt for clues, as Olivia, Peter and Walter sought out Nina Sharp in an effort to figure out why Michael was integral to the big plan of saving the world.

Help from Nina

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see how it all finishes it out, whether it be a mind-bending reveal, explosive showdown, or a quiet human moment. The possibilities still feel endless, and I have high hopes.

Yet, I can't help but feel that for the most part, Fringe Season 5 has been more focused on closing the chapter to its super saga with a bang and less about the journey to get there.

Sure, we've had good scenes that have touched on Walter's moral dilemmas and identity, Peter's grief, and even Olivia's ability to be the stable and supporting member to her love, to her daughter, to her team.

Except, even amongst the character moments, it all feels secondary to the connecting of the puzzle pieces. The Fringe team seems to be along for the ride.

This time around, it was everyone trying to communicate with the child Observer, meaning a good portion of the episode was postulating theories on how to do so and trying to get the tech that could even attempt to do so.

Of course, Captain Windmark was on the trail, sniffing out his enemies like a determined bloodhound.

I do find Windmark to be a fantastic bad guy. The Observers have a way of making their emotionless and cold demeanor to be utterly creepy, but Windmark tops the others. There's a ruthless and scary villain behind that bald head, and his stares are so piercing that I believe he's mind interrogating the people across from him.

His confrontation with Nina seemed inevitable. It was her remarks about the Observers being animals that was the perfect slap in the face though. The words clearly cut deep and if anything, it was a great last remark for her.

Although, when it came down to it, I wasn't shocked that Nina made a sacrifice by killing herself. It was an unfortunate turn of events, but to her it was necessary to save Michael.

In reality, a lot of the hour felt predictable. I wasn't surprised that it wouldn't be until the final minutes of the episode that something significant would happen.

And that's not to say that there weren't significant moments like Olivia connecting with Michael, or Olivia and Peter working together as a solid team, or Nina helping the Fringe team get to the next step. It's just that to me it felt as if most of the time was all about leading up to the shocking final moment.

But it was a surprising and wonderful finish for the simply okay episode.

Firstly, Michael was able to communicate with Walter, but it was the glorious dose of fast cut flashbacks of Fringe Season 1 up until now that was the perfect nostalgia bomb. It was nice to see that the show hasn't forget about its early years while implying that every single moment has been important.

On top of that, was the discovery that the mysterious Donald was none other than September.

That's right Donald is September, but with far more follicles on his head. And he smiles!

It really has me wondering about his connection to Michael and what Observers feeling emotion means? I've always been under the impression that Walter's plan has been about defeating the Observers, but perhaps, it is about "fixing" them and helping them become human, or something along those lines?

The whole concept really does make me think back to Nina's notion of love. It is something the Observers don't have, yet we've seen boatloads of it from Walter, Peter, and Olivia. Can love truly conquer all?

There's still plenty of questions to think about, which in terms of Fringe, has always been a positive. I just hope that the final batch of episodes delivers both a satisfying end to the story, as well as its characters. I'd love to see Peter, Olivia, Walter and even Astrid, get a chance to shine with equally meaningful contributions and kick-ass moves, while receiving the fulfilling closure that they all deserve.

The Mentalist Midseason Report Card: B+

As we wait for The Mentalist to return on January 6 with "Days of Wine and Roses," we're using our down time to relive some of our favorite - and not so favorite - moments of the season so far.

We've already set fingers to keyboard for our Once Upon a Time midseason report and Sons of Anarchy Season 5 report card. Now take a look as we take a look at what Patrick Jane and company have been up to...

Back to His Old Life

Best Episode: I'm so very torn over this one. In the end it's a tie between "Devil's Cherry" and "Red Sails in Sunset." The first dove right into Jane's tortured psyche as he spoke with his deceased daughter while in a drug induced haze.  It was poignant, funny, sad, and hopeful all at once.

But "Red Sails in Sunset" brought Jane's obsession with Lorelei to a head as we learned why this intriguing character became the psychopath's mistress. The best twist was finding out how much Red John had taken away from Lorelei, and whether or not she'd ever believe Jane's theory as he let her go off to find her own truth.

Then there was that whole issue about a handshake as Lorelei told Jane: I only wonder why the two of you didn't become life long friends the moment you shook hands. | permalink

Now that will surely have repercussions throughout 2013.

Worst Episode:  Perhaps it's simply because Wayne Rigsby has never been one of my favorite characters but I didn't find much to love in "Blood Feud." Rigsby's father was a despicable man and Wayne has never really known when to walk away.  Heck, in the past he'd even dragged Cho down into his mess.  So the only upside I saw in this episode was that dear old Dad won't be returning.

Most Improved Character: I'm not sure you can call Patrick Jane improved as he continues to carry this show but my love for the tortured ex-psychic continues to grow.

From the intimate look into his tortured heart that we glimpsed as he spoke with his deceased daughter to his obsession with the serial killer that took her and his wife away, somehow Patrick Jane just gets better with age.

Most Disappointing Character: Almost all of the secondary characters have been disappointing this season for one reason or another but I've really missed these two...

Kimball Cho because we really haven't seen enough of him. I've been craving more of Cho's deadpan one liners and observations all season but they've been few and far between.

Grace Van Pelt has been stuck behind a desk most of the season, not that it's her fault.  Amanda Righetti is very pregnant which explains the large purses, plants and boxes that continue to jump in her path but I've missed the bad ass Grace we got glimpses of in The Mentalist season 4. Hopefully once the actress' beautiful bundle of joy is born we can get back to the sweet but snarky Van Pelt I've grown to love.

Most Intriguing Character Return:  Lorelei Martins. When we first met Red John's newest minion in The Mentalist season 4 finale she was certainly sexy and alluring but this season gave her a new twist.  Whether she realizes it or not, Lorelei is a victim of Red John. Will she survive the tug of war between Patrick Jane and the infamous serial killer?  I hope so. Watching this intriguing beauty's blood spill would be tragedy.

Most Disappointing Character Return:  Summer Edgecombe. I never thought she was a good match for Cho but Summer was smart and fun and funny. Upon Summer's return this season she was dumbed down and boring. Apparently they brought the former hooker / criminal informant back just to knock her up, marry her off to some dim witted guy and send her on her way. What a lousy way to close out a once interesting character.

Hopes for 2013:

  • More character development for Teresa Lisbon. I feel as though we only get glimpses into Lisbon and after five season's we should know her better.
  • I know this will probably never happen but I'd like to see the show decide whether Jane and Lisbon are headed towards a possible romantic future or if this is more of a brother / sister partnership. Surprisingly, I'm good with either scenario but wondering which way this duo is leaning can get confusing.
  • As much as I'm loving the slow build of tracking Red John, I hope the appearance of increased momentum isn't a fluke.  Perhaps we can have the answer to Red John's identity at the end of this season without having Jane and company catch him just yet.

Overall Grade: B+

Okay, fans. What grade would you give The Mentalist season 5 so far.
