Amazing surprisingly great inspiring awe or admiration or wonderItrsquos amazing what can happen when you get 7 people of all different ages from numerous different backgrounds with different interests and skills and somewhat completely different personalities and put them together to form a group. That group quickly becomes a team when they spend 24 hours a day together sleep in the same
Missed tours pissed off but theres a twilightat the end of the tunnel
The day started off quite badly. I woke up at 7.30am to get ready for my jungle trip however when I got there they said that they didnt have enough people to do the tour today. Could they not have told me that yesterday before I rearranged hotels here and in La Paz as well as activities and flight back which was at my expense. They said I could do the Pampas tour instead theres more wildlife

Fourth Day in China
Today was a really awesome day. First Jie's mom drove us to Purple Mountain a big mountain in Nanjing where we saw a bunch of different attractions. We met Jie's cousin there and he went with us too. First we saw Sun Yatsen's mausoleum. We saw his tomb and where he's buried. He overthrew the Qing Dynasty and pretty much founded the People's Republic. His tomb was a huge park enclosure and

Deep in the Heart of Texas
Following the LONGEST drive of our entire trip we arrived this afternoon in Austin Texas. We were greeted by the loudest and rowdiest deluge of rain I have encountered in some time. Lightening thunder and big raindrops just as we turned into the hotel parking lot. We hustled to unload the car but were soaked nevertheless. We were up and at 'em at 5am this morning. This was the big enchila
P.E.I. Green Gables
All in one day I saw the highest tides in the world the longest multispan bridge and drove around the beautiful PEI. The next day saw Anne of Green Gables home recreationit is after all only a story but don't tell that to the thousands of Japanese who go and went to an amazing red sand beach. I spent 2 days in Charlottetown and saw a stage musical of Anne of Green Gables. I think PEI's econo
Back in Dawson City.
Oh my what a trip so far.I've been humbled twice in the last 12 months. Once by a stroke and once by a road.....the Dempster. After just completing 1500 kilometres of dirt road that's almost one thousand miles folks I can quite safely say that we've seen it all on that one piece of highway. This road is quite simply unique. It takes the traveller through so many emotions and regions that I don

Bali
Bay of Fundy
Bay of Fundy and Hopewell Rocks has 45 foot tides. It is incredible. There's so much history here whalers Acadians Dutch BasqueEnglish German. One town might be all German names and the next was settled by Scotsmen. Lunnenburg has a monument to the Men who go down to the sea in ships. In 192627 this tiny village lost over 200 men and boys to storms at sea.
Anchorage
We slept late and then got the camper situated at aunt Jean's. We needed to do some shopping and we wanted to go downtown and see the mall. Nancy bought a green fleece jacket with a wolf on it. Cape Breton
We stayed at a great resort it's too bad they don't give us time to use all the amenities. The Cabot trail is rugged and wild. The Reconstructed Fortress of Louisburg with actors playing roles is amazing in it's reality. We had a whale watching trip on really rough water. Five people puking on a small boat is not pretty. Saw some Northern pilot whales up close and personal.
Quito

Yosemite means White Devil as named by the Indian tribe
We woke up early for our big day. Our things were quickly packed and since the parking lot was a little less scary in the day we decided to eat the continental breakfast. The waffle iron worked but there wasnrsquot much else. A nice French Canadian family ate next to usmdashasking ldquoWhere is the milkrdquo and ldquoHave you seen the teardquo. We wished them well and headed to Yo
