The level 3 playoff game in Division 4 was a rematch of week 3. Little Chute hosted Freedom on Friday.
The Mustangs won that first meeting, 13-6. But this game would decide who would be one win away from State.
The Irish got big runs. Alexander Van Boxtel spun over a pile and stayed on his feet, taking the ball 23 yards.
That run led to Andrew Philibeck's keeper. He was stuffed and fumbled, but was able to jump on the ball and score. Freedom was up 6-0.
Down by a point in the third quarter, Freedom's Nathan Peters broke free, cut back, and took the ball 67 yards into the end zone.
Freedom continued its run. And for the first time in school history, the Irish are going to Level 4.
The final score was Irish 36, Mustangs 7.

Thousands of people lined Edinburgh's Royal Mile to watch soldiers from the 3rd Battalion The Rifles take part in a homecoming parade.
During the event they received the freedom of the city - the first English battalion to be awarded the honour.
The soldiers recently completed a six-month tour of Afghanistan, where they were deployed in Helmand Province.
The battalion traditionally recruits in England but has been based at Redford Barracks in Edinburgh since 2003.
Commanding officer Lt Col Charlie Maconochie said: "It is a great honour and privilege that the council and the people of Edinburgh have decided to bestow such a high accolade. We are hugely proud of our association with Edinburgh and view this very much as our home.
"The battalion deployed on operations to Afghanistan in March this year, returning throughout October. Receiving this civic award shows the soldiers how much their efforts are appreciated by the people of Edinburgh, something every rifleman will be immensely proud of.
"We are extremely grateful to the local community in Colinton and Edinburgh for all the support we received during the tour.
"The homecoming parade gives families, friends and supporters a chance to see my riflemen receiving thanks from their local community. The soldiers are now looking forward to a well-earned break with their loved ones after a challenging but hugely successful deployment."
The soldiers were cheered as they marched to the sounds of a military band down the historic street between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Freedoms 18th home state playoff contest resulted in many records shattered in the Patriot history books.
Freedom (10-2) hit paydirt on its first six possessions en route to a 42-14 triumph Friday against visiting Franklin (8-4) in both teams state 3A West football playoff opener. The Patriots won their playoff opener for the second time in three seasons, as the offense erupted for 499 total yards (368 rushing).
Tonight Im not sure if we could have played any better in the first half, said FHS coach Mike Helms. We gave Franklin a little too much defensively, but we knew coming in that they were a good quality team.
Were very proud of how we played to advance especially coming off last year. Im still sad for those guys from last season, because I thought they got a raw deal. But at the same time, this is some vindication for them knowing that they had a part to do with being the first team in the 40-year school history to win 10 games in three consecutive years.
Senior running back David Burgess (17 carries, 253 yards) set a new school single-season rushing record (2,386 yards) that was previously held by 99 graduate Terry Sheffield (2,158).
Burgess scored touchdowns on runs of 68, 46 and 20 yards in the opening 17 minutes.
Its just a blessing. Ive got to give thanks to God, Burgess said. Without him giving me the ability, I could not have done this, and second to my teammates for blocking. This was a huge win to advance to the second round but also a record night for the team.
Freedom senior quarterback Shawn Fairchild was a perfect 7 of 7 passing for 131 yards, all in the opening half. Junior Khris Gardin caught four passes for 83 yards and two TDs the Patriots first on a 33-yard catch in the back of the end zone, with the second coming on an over the shoulder 42-yard catch to put the Pats up 21-7 with just more than four minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

Freedom ended a five-game losing streak in emphatic fashion with a dominant road win at Wiregrass.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Patriots jumped on the Bulls for three touchdowns in the second.
Freedom back-up quarterback DJ Grant found Johnny Rodicio on a 59-yard TD to open the scoring. A minute later, Nate Godwin picked off a pass and returned it 23 yards for a TD. Anthony Hendry added a 1-yard rushing touchdown before the half.
It was more of the same in the third quarter, as Grant and starting quarterback Taylor King alternated touchdowns passes against an overmatched Bulls (0-9) defense.
First, King hit Alunte Fleshman on a 20-yard pass over the middle and Fleshman sprinted the remaining 50 yards. Three minutes later, Grant hit Andre Folkes on a 23-yard touchdown, and Freedom (3-7) finished the scoring when King hit Tyruence Creary for 6 yards.
Grant finished 6-for-10 for 125 yards and the two scores, and Fleshman finished with 95 yards on two catches .

LITTLE CHUTE - Nathan Peters entered Friday nights Division 4 Level 3 playoff game hardly a secret.
The junior running back was coming off a 307-yard, 5-touchdown performance in a Level 2 win over Marshall, and for the season had more than 1,700 rushing yards.
For Little Chute, he was a marked man, and for two quarters Friday, the Mustangs had Peters number. However, in the second half Little Chute was off the mark and it paid dearly.
Peters scored four second-half touchdowns, and after being limited to less than 70 yards in the first half, Peters finished with 316 yards as the No. 8-seeded Irish defeated rival No. 2 Little Chute, 36-7, advancing to Level 4 next Friday against Big Foot at West Bend.
Its huge, Freedom coach Clint Kriewaldt said. We had confidence coming in. Being a No. 8 seed is what everyone wants to talk about, but I told the kids from Day 1, Its not about the seed, its about the matchup. We had three good matchups.
Added Peters: Its awesome. Going into the game everyone doubted us and we wanted to prove everybody wrong and thats what we did.
Peters shreds the Mustangs Freedom (9-2) knew if it was going to win Friday its ground game would have to be clicking. The Irish dont throw much and Friday it didnt have an official pass attempt.
Freedoms only pass was successful as it resulted in a 15-yard pass-interference penalty, but statistically its not an attempt because of the penalty. The lack of balance on offense didnt matter because Peters was in the backfield.
The 5-foot-7, 170-pounder pounded Little Chutes defense all game and in the second half he wasted no time in taking control. On the second playoff the third quarter, Peters scampered 67 yards for a touchdown to put Freedom up, 14-7.
The ensuing three Freedom possessions resulted in three more Peters TD runs, including a 72-yarder for the final points of the game. While Peters may not be big, he runs tough, falls forward, can outrun defenders and has great cutback ability.
