Student loans in the context of Austrian business cycle theory – Video

Student loans in the context of Austrian business cycle theory
Anyone with doubts on what I say, see the videos at the bottom of this list on college by Peter Schiff, to see what a waste college has been for many people "The Libertarian Manifesto" by Murray Rothbard. I recommend reading all chapter 9 "Inflation and the Business Cycle" (Capital goods such as a college degree go up faster than other prices, this is out of expectations that there is a need for it. When the student loans stop college prices will fall and colleges and universities will cut expenses and offer a better education as they compete and have to offer a more relevant education for the workforce. Read the chapter and you will understand this more) library.mises.org "Economics for Real People" by Gene Callahan see chapter 8 to learn the Austrian view of capital. Capital exists in peoples #39; minds, it is about peoples #39; plans for the future. The ending of this video shows a man who believed housing prices would stay high because of false ideas about the future. Houses were also valued as capital because people falsely believed they would be able to extract value from them forever, in these peoples #39; minds the houses were capital goods. When both of these false ideas were proved wrong prices for real estate fell. mises.org Clip at beginning of this video is from "Peter Schiff testifies before Congress: Round 2 - Shorter Version" which is not about student loans but talks about the problems of government loans in the housing market. Stansberry Radio Hosts Libertarian Leader Tom Woods to Discuss U.S. Economy and New Documentary, "The Bubble"

BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 14, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Last week, the Stansberry Radio Network hosted Tom Woods -- a prominent libertarian and Senior Fellow of the Ludwig von Mises Institute -- on the increasingly popular radio program Stansberry Radio. Woods and host Porter Stansberry spoke openly about the crisis in the American economy -- specifically the current debt crisis as well as the economic crisis of 2008 and how, in Stanberry's opinion, "the American people have been poorly served by its leaders." Stansberry questioned Woods to give his perspective on the timing of when there would be "some sense of reality to hit the bond market." Woods stated it was his belief Americans would see signs of a collapse within the next ten years. You can listen to the entire interview here: http://www.stansberryradio.com/Porter-Stansberry/Latest-Episodes/Episode/124/Ep-47-Preparing-for-the-Next-Bubble

Woods is currently working on the production of a new documentary, "The Bubble," which portrays financial industry experts who foretold the economic 'bubble' collapse in 2008. The documentary is due for release early next year.

During the interview, Stansberry and Woods discussed some of the defining situations during the 2008 fallout. Referencing the bailout of General Motors, Stansberry said, "It was the best pretend and extend deal of the sovereign crisis, period."

Woods said Obama did "the wrong thing" with the bailout, mentioning that the President "violated long-standing bankruptcy laws...for (his) short--term political gain." He also called General Motors (GM) a "wealth destruction machine."

Stansberry is widely recognized for his prediction of the initial bankruptcy of GM (see story here). He is currently predicting the company will be forced back into bankruptcy again (see story here).

Before the interview, host Porter Stansberry spoke openly about the economic impact of the re-election of President Obama, saying, "There is no chance to change the direction our country is going." Stansberry recently published a controversial opinion that Obama will actually serve a 'third term' as an American President. Access the full publication here. http://pro.stansberryresearch.com/1210THIRDLIA/EPSINB50/ His commentary was picked up by ABC News, Yahoo, and numerous other media outlets.

"I understand the 22nd amendment. That's not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is that in four years' time, Obama will not leave power," Stansberry said on-air.

Tom Woods is the latest prominent guest to be featured on the Stansberry Radio Network, which is becoming a required stop for financial experts, economists, politicians and the media. The show has been host to a wide variety of prominent names, including Lauren Lyster, Jeff Macke and Dinesh D'Souza, who created the hit documentary 2016: Obama's America. Other guests have included Libertarian Presidential nominee Gary Johnson, MSNBC host Chris Hayes, former U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan, publisher Steve Forbes, and renowned investors Jim Rogers and Marc Faber.

Stansberry Radio Network segments can be accessed at http://www.stansberryradio.com.

Solovky Islands - Islands of Controversy
info: http://www.domuspatris.net The Solovetsky Islands, located in the Onega Bay of the White Sea, 160 kilometres from the Arctic Circle, have been the setting of the famous Russian Orthodox Solovetsky Monastery complex. It was the greatest citadel of Christianity in the Russian North before being turned into a special Soviet prison and labor camp (1921--1939), which served as a prototype for the GULAG system. Then the buildings were then transformed into a naval base. The Orthodox Church reestablished the monastery in 1992, the year when the ensemble was included into UNESCO #39;s World Heritage List. The Solovetsky Islands are now a place of memory and of prayer, they could become a fashionable tourist resort rather than a centre renowned for its profound spiritual dimension. The Solovetsky Monastery was founded in the second quarter of the 15th century by two monks, Gherman and Savvatiy (Sabbatius), from the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, the most important of Northern Russia at the time. The monastery quickly enlarged its estate and extended its producing and commercial activity, becoming an economic and political center of the White Sea. Its activity included saltworks, seafood production, trapping, fishery, mica works, ironworks, etc.. The existing stronghold and its major churches were erected in stone during the early reign of Ivan the Terrible at the behest of St. Philip of Moscow. In mid-17th century, at the time of the Schism of the Russian Church, the monks staunchly ...From:DomusPatrisViews:0 0ratingsTime:03:23More inFilm Animation

Video of Total Eclipse in Sidney Australia – Video

Video of Total Eclipse in Sidney Australia
Video of Total Eclipse in Sidney Australia SYDNEY mdash; From boats bobbing on the Great Barrier Reef, to hot air balloons hovering over the rainforest, and the hilltops and beaches in between, tens of thousands of scientists, tourists and amateur astronomers watched as the sun, moon and Earth aligned and plunged northern Australia into darkness during a total solar eclipse Wednesday. Stubborn clouds that many feared would ruin the view parted -- somewhat -- in north Queensland, defying forecasts of a total eclipse-viewing bust and relieving spectators who had fanned out to glimpse the celestial phenomenon. "Immediately before, I was thinking, `Are we gonna see this? #39; And we just had a fantastic display -- it was just beautiful," said Terry Cuttle of the Astronomical Association of Queensland, who has seen a dozen total solar eclipses over the years. "And right after it finished, the clouds came back again. It really adds to the drama of it." Spectators whooped and clapped with delight as the moon passed between the sun and Earth, leaving a slice of the continent #39;s northeast in sudden darkness. Starting just after dawn, the eclipse cast its 150-kilometer (95-mile) shadow in Australia #39;s Northern Territory, crossed the northeast tip of the country and was swooping east across the South Pacific, where no islands are in its direct path. A partial eclipse was visible from east Indonesia, the eastern half of Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and southern parts of Chile and ...From:5portsCenterViews:0 0ratingsTime:01:34More inNews Politics
