Ron Paul, the Texas congressman, is retiring. He took to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives Nov. 14 and gave a farewell speech, viewable on YouTube. Its a speech that is worth watching. When Paul leaves, he will take with him a principled libertarianism that provided a refreshing contrast to the traditional left-right arguments in Congress. While Paul is sometimes viewed as an uncompromising and even extreme libertarian-minded Republican, he often voices thoughts on government that would likely have Thomas Jefferson nodding in agreement. Now who will express such thoughts in Congress? Its not radical to say the federal government is running amok. Total federal debt has surpassed annual gross domestic product. The federal government is running annual deficits that exceed $1 trillion. Government extends its reach into virtually every area of American life. Paul has been a civil but firm voice criticizing the modern Leviathan. He has been at times a sole voice arguing with those who believe government is the solution to almost every problem. Paul butted heads with members of his own party when he opposed most of the war on terror and the Iraq War. Paul also vigorously opposed the federal governments main tool to root out terrorists the Patriot Act. Paul was in Congress for 23 years. He ran for president three times. Pauls main criticism of the two-party system is that no matter who is in federal power, the government seems to keep growing. Despite the improving U.S. standard of living, Paul told Congress last week, there has been damage done to the marketplace through more regulations and higher taxes. And much of U.S. wealth is based on debt. If the Republican Party is to expand its base, especially among young people and Hispanic voters, it needs to incorporate into its agenda more of Pauls love for individual freedom. Pauls views are really no more radical than those of Americas third president, said to be one of the founders of the Democratic Party. In 1801, Jefferson told the nation in his inaugural address that a wise and frugal government ... shall leave (people) otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. At times, Paul seemed out of place urging Americans to return to a small-government philosophy. But as the debt and federal spending balloon, his ideas may gain a wider audience and exert more influence on the debate between Republicans and Democrats.

Sumur is the first mission of the era of Ramses II and his first duty as the Pharaoh is to establish a sea port in Lebanon to ship back valuable commodities to Egypt. This map is small and there #39;s very little places to put down docks. The two small islands on the left center of the map will be very useful for fishing wharves as the only food item in this map is fish, with 3 available for import. Also a stream cuts off access to the large amount of land, so you #39;ll need to use a bridge and multiple ferry landings. Begin building quickly. Requests start very early and they are usually quite big. Build a small community and evolve it as high as possible. You will immediately notice that you cannot make or import clay or barley so you will have to import the finished goods of Pottery and Beer. Distribution problems are a given in this mission with housing likely to continue devolving due to the poor dock space available. Open trade routes with as many cities as possible to export Wood, Linen, Copper, Weapons and Luxury Goods. Gems and Flax must be imported to produce Linen and Lux Goods. There #39;s only enough space for 2 Copper Mines at best and the copper vein is very close to a pack of lions so use statues to box the lions in to stop them attacking people left, right and center. You will notice that a trade route is already open from the start of the mission: a land based route from Qadesh, who will sell you Gems and Oil. This UCC is made in order to let people understand the importance of preserving the environment! I became interested in the environmental problem after a huge Taewon Oil spill in Korea which occurred when I was in elementary 4th grade. I knew that for next generations, environment will become more important issue than economic developments. I realized that I should at least try to take small steps in order to make people be aware of the global warming, destruction of ozone layer, and the side effects these situations are going to have in our society. As we are living a comfortable lives, brushing teeth, taking shower everyday some of the islands are sinking in to the ocean, and people are already lacking of clean water and lands to agriculture.
