Naija Gist Lagos Island or Mainland
The Latest Naija Gist - would you prefer to live on the Lagos Island or on the Mainland? "I live in Maryland but I hate that place with a passion!" laughs one man. "The mentality of people there - god help Nigeria!" But not everyone agrees: "I prefer to stay at Ajegunle" says another man. "I don #39;t think it #39;s okay for people to live in such luxuries on the Islands." Watch full Nigeria Gist on whether you would prefer to live on Lagos Island or the Mainland here. The two geographical entities are separated by the Lagos lagoon... ...the #39;Islands #39; or Lagos Island, Ikoyi and Victoria Island are the centre of business and finance for the whole of Lagos and even Nigeria, but it #39;s also a notoriously expensive place to live. ... Lagos Mainland is where most of the city #39;s 18 #39;ish million inhabitants live - from Makoko slum to the Governor #39;s Office in Alausa - it #39;s a sprawling, exciting but sometimes dangerous place to live. But the argument, it appears, has not been solved today: "Life is much saner and comfortable on the Mainland," says one woman. "I would like to be on the rich part, on Lagos Island because life can be easier, you make good connections and for your kids growing up you prepare them for the future." **** Naija Gist, Lagos Street-life, Videos, Entertainment and more from Ajegunle - only on BattaBox.com ... and don #39;t forget to share the story with your friends using the buttons below!From:BattaBoxViews:0 0ratingsTime:04:17More inNews Politics

Disney #39;s Greece : Anna Rossi
Performances : - Ariel (1998 : I Mikr Gorgona - singing) / speaking voice : Christina Kouloumpi - Ariel #39;s voice (1998 : The Little Mermaid - singing) - Vanessa (1998 : The Little Mermaid - singing) / speaking voice : Christina Kouloumpi - Stakhtopta (1999 : Stakhtopta - singing) / speaking voice : Ariel Konstantidini Information : - Anna Rossi comes from the Ionian Islands. She was born in Athens from a musical family. She studied classical, light and modern song (Greece and Germany), piano, and guitar. She #39;s also the singing voice of Terpsichore (a Muse) from Hercules. (I didn #39;t add it because we don #39;t hear this muse sings alone, only in the choir). Personal opinion : - I really like her voice in both roles, her voice is so beautiful, and she sounds very unusual. I guess she fits better Cinderella, but I really like her as Ariel too. It #39;s really ashame she didn #39;t reprise her roles in the sequels, even if they took very good singers (Ariel Konstantinidi, Hara Kefala and Marina Satti). For Ariel #39;s voice, it #39;s too bad we don #39;t really hear her voice because of the sound effect and the music. For Vanessa, she #39;s good, but she could have been really better if she wanted. "In the early 1950s human genetics experimentation was taking its first, tentative steps. Amongst many other black projects, a team of British scientists working at an Infinitum Research experimental station stumbled across some remarkable phenomena involving DNA manipulation. This led to deeper research with dangerously unpredictable results, often leading to human patients losing their lives in irresponsible and immoral experiments. Time passed on, and by the mid 1990s the failure rate of the experiments had been reduced from 75% to a mere 15%, enough for Infinitum to move onto the next stage Biological Light Refraction. The British team were hoping to unravel the possibilities of light manipulation to create the perfect covert military agent. Early into the new millennium, due to a gross miscalculation, a series of tests on Subject 617 led to a massive synaptic trauma leaving the patient with multiple genetic anomalies. The subject was left in constant pain and with unstable DNA. The subject escaped captivity, killing anyone that got in its way. The IRIS (Infinitum Research Interception Squad) team have been deployed to return the subject to a maximum security Infinitum Research facility for further study and dissection. The entire project was considered a failure: all funding ceased and development was discontinued while all records and traces of the experiments ...From:SeaNannersViews:137019 6370ratingsTime:01:02:52More inGaming
