Jeremy Vine talks to Kaz Aston about MS On 4th February 2013
Kaz Aston was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 18 years ago, when treatment options were few. She was 21 and about to take her final nursing exams (which she passed). Over two decades she #39;s learnt to manage her condition - and though we think of MS as debilitating, Kaz is actually a keen golfer and clay pigeon shooter. She #39;s written a Really Clear Guide to MS to help others understand this condition - http://www.kazaston.com

Carer is caught stealing from Stockport man on camera – Video

Carer is caught stealing from Stockport man on camera
A thief was caught stealing money from a disabled neighbour who she was supposed to be caring for after his family set up a hidden camera in his home. The shocking footage shows Lisa Cobane casing Malcolm Gill #39;s living room before distracting the multiple sclerosis sufferer and snatching a £20 note while his head is turned. The mother-of-three had offered to help Mr Gill, 66, while permanent carers were found, but his family became suspicious when money and property went missing from the house Mr Gill has difficulty remembering daily events, and so relatives installed the hidden camera and left the money on the mantelpiece as bait to catch the unaware Cobane. Cobane, 32, is clearly shown spotting the money at his home in Stockport, Greater Manchester, pointing to something behind a confused Mr Gill and stealing the cash when he is not looking. The out of work hairdresser, who moved to Grindleton Avenue, Sharston, Wythenshawe, admitted theft when she appeared before Stockport magistrates. She will be sentenced later this month and magistrates warned that she could face jail. Mr Gill #39;s niece Louise Haig set up the sting with help from private detectives Proactive Investigations. After the hearing, she said: #39;Her defence solicitor said she was remorseful and felt ashamed. #39;I don #39;t believe for a moment she is, and think the only thing she is sorry about is being caught. #39; Claire Parrott, defending, told the court that her client had led a previously crime-free life, but after ...

Dear Ellen, HELP me DONATE my 12th Day of Giveaway Prizes to a Sandy Hook Teacher – Video

Dear Ellen, HELP me DONATE my 12th Day of Giveaway Prizes to a Sandy Hook Teacher
Dear Ellen DeGeneres... PLEASE HELP ME...donate my 12th day of giveaway prizes to a teacher in Newtown, Connecticut! I am so thankful that I had the chance to attend not only one taping of your AMAZING show this season, but two; and not only two tapings of your SPECTACULAR show, but one of those being a 12 Days show; I mean, WOW! However, my heart has been heavy since the shootings in Connecticut. Being a 2nd Grade Teacher, each day I stare in the eyes of my students, I can #39;t help but wonder how those surviving teachers do it. How can they stand and teach, knowing so many aren #39;t standing with them? I know donating my 12th day of prizes to a teacher won #39;t ease their pain, but it just might give them a chance to escape and find a moment of happiness, on that beautiful Jamaican beach! I #39;m sure someone from there is reaching out to you; and you can help me get in touch with them to make this happen. In a world so consumed with negativety, I want to bring positivity. I want to show my students both past, present, and future, that everyone can make a difference, even a 2nd Grade Teacher, with Multiple Sclerosis.

This video is about my first MS Walk in Los Angeles in 2005. This was the year I was diagnosed. We walked around the Los Angeles Olympic stadium and on the USC Campus in Downtown LA I am a mother, wife and a professional photographer, I refuse to let MS get in my way. I do my assignments with no problems and get the job done. I am very lucky. Please go to http://www.nmss.org to learn more about Multiple Sclerosis and how you can volunteer and donate to find a cure and help with very important programs in place for those with MS. To make a personal donation to me because of my fabulous video(hahahaha!) go here main.nationalmssociety.org Thank you 🙂

Why Natural Pest Control's Better: Biodefense – Video

Why Natural Pest Control #39;s Better: Biodefense
When you see a bug in your home, the first thing you #39;ll typically do is grab a can of the bug spray and call the pest control company to come and spray your home. However, the chemicals used in these sprays can be damaging to your family and pets health. A growing body of evidence links pesticides to neurological disorders such as ADHD, Parkinson #39;s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), epilepsy, Alzheimer #39;s and progressive diseases like cancer. Because Pesticide use is so common, many people think it must be safe to use, however this is not the case. Even after the spray dries, the chemicals do not break down, leaving the chemicals around your home and in the air. This causes your family and pets to inhale the chemicals in the air, ingest them and absorb them through your skin when you come in contact with these chemicals. Many companies will even claim their products are organic because they come from chrysanthemum flowers, but these are neurotoxic POISONS that cause serious health problems. Even an EPA registration of a pesticide does not mean that it is safe. In fact, many pesticides with EPA registration are categorized as "Toxin, known carcinogen, mutagen, reproductive toxin, developmental toxin, immune system toxin, and endocrine disruptor". And for those with children: Using pesticides in the home is linked to: -Learning disabilities, with pesticides effecting a children #39;s overall development causing them to be diagnosed with diseases such as ADD and ADHD at an ...
