Integrative Nutrition Announces Season of Giving Charitable Initiative

School Aims to Donate More Than $100,000 to Organizations that Are Aligned with the Schools Mission to Transform the Future of Healthcare.

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 07, 2012

For every prospective student who enrolls in Integrative Nutritions Health Coach Training Program this December, Integrative Nutrition will donate $100 to New York Cares, Healthy Child Healthy World, or Farm Sanctuary, with the goal of more than $100,000 in donations.

I started Integrative Nutrition with the mission to change the world and make it a healthier, happier place, said Integrative Nutrition Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd. The Health Coach Training Program empowers our students to transform their health and encourages them to use their knowledge to teach others to do the same, a process that spreads a ripple effect of health and happiness around the world. We can make an even bigger impact when we join forces with other like-minded organizations that share our core values. While were committed to giving back all year-round, I am thrilled to announce the Season of Giving initiative, which will turn that ripple effect of health and happiness into a wave this holiday season.

For each student who enrolls during the month of December, Integrative Nutrition will donate $100 to one of the following three charities of the students choice:

New York Cares is New York Citys largest volunteer organization, working together with partner organizations to help children, adults, and the community through thousands of hands-on projects.

This charitable giving effort is part of Integrative Nutritions greater commitment to changing the future of healthcare and creating a major shift in the world by the year 2020 a plan called the 2020 Vision. In order to show that food affects everything and good health is a vehicle for making the world a better place, Integrative Nutrition has donated more than $350,000 in recent years to organizations that work towards a healthier future. Furthermore, Integrative Nutrition consistently supports its students and graduates by recognizing innovative projects that help serve their communities and beyond.

The incredible work of our students and graduates, and the continued support of the entire Integrative Nutrition community, inspires me every day, said Rosenthal. I look forward to the success of this Season of Giving initiative and Im confident that it will help raise the bar for all the exciting work we will achieve together in 2013.
