Off by about 830 leaving Moab UT. We drove up UT 128 to I70 East. 128 follows the Colorado River about 23 of the way to I70. It is a beautiful canyon with lots of red sandstone high cliffs of monolithic sandstone some towers buttes and other assorted shapes. The road is really close to the river which was high and running dirty. Saw a couple busloads of people going to drop off poin

Earth Fest 2010
We woke up and decided that a free continental breakfast at the hotel was way better than paying to go somewhere. And as far as hotels go this was probably the best place I have ever been to for continental breakfast. It was actually really great. I had waffles with strawberries on top and hard boiled egg. Im not really sure of all the stuff Doug ate but I do remember that he gave me a bite of
Chang Mai
We arrived in Chang Mai and headed straight to our hotel by taxi. The hotel was awesome compared to all the rest. We had people carrying our bags tea whilst checking in so much sugar but still had someone to show us the apartment huge modern room and even a pillow menu. The classy stuff all for cheaper than the hostel room in Amsterdam. After traveling for about 26hours we were both shagged
Getting to Paris
Mom drove us to Newark NJ airport at midday Monday. As soon as we entered the terminal I was so glad we decided to carry on. The line to check bags weaved all around the building We waltzed on by the queue and into a short security line. We were through within 20 minutes. It would have been shorter accept that a TSA official flagged Robarn for inconsistent density patterns in his left sh
Boracay 10.3 square km of Paradise
Ok so it has taken me some time to get round to writing about Boracay but I think I have only just recovered from the experience You can't sell me a bottle of rum for 70p and expect me to walk away in a straight line So that was pretty much all there a to do on the island apart from soak up the scenery. Boracay's White Beach was voted World's number one Tropical Beach back in 1996 when the isl

Okvandgo Delta is at least the locals claim the largest inland delta in the world. Walking Around the Right Bank
After we left the Louvre we walked through the Jardin du Tuileries which is the oldest formal garden in Paris. Parisians and tourists alike walk down the pebbled paths enjoying the temperate weather. The avenue is spectacular you can see the Louvre on one end and the Arc du Triumph on the other. We walked down the Champs Elysees to the Arc to take a picture and then stopped for an espresso

Canyonlands North and South
We drove north to State Hwy 211 a great road with scenery to die for. At the Needles visitor center for Canyonlands National Park we got our patches and stamps and found which overlooks were mustsee and accessible while we were towing campers. Bucharest
Before going to Bucharest we stopped in the small town of Timisoara Romania. We walked to our hotel which was actually towards the outside of the city but still a short distance from the train station. We paid 23 EUR per night for a very nice hotel room. It was a large room with two full size beds and a bathroom with a shower and a Jacuzzi. We arrived late at night and wanted nothing more
The First Week in Norway Overall
Hey everyone Well my first week in Norway I'm glad to say was pretty relaxing once I got here. I can say I'm pretty used to life at home though we haven't really been out much. I think the most eventful my week has been was on Tuesday when I went to work with Per Christian and met one of his bosses Arne and two of his coworkers Marianne and Henning. I hit it off with Henning pretty well
Good Morning Vietnam
Vietnam has an emerging economy ever since good old Bill lifted the sanctions on Nam in 1995. Since then the Kids have been tucking into KFC strutting around in Nike trainers and listening to Avril Lavigne. So when we got off the plane expecting bamboo huts little wooden bridges and paper lanterns we were sorely dissappointed. To see that stuff we had to get to the Mekong Delta where everythin

Canyon Lands
Left Blanding UT and drove to the Needles South Visitors Center in Canyonlands NP. The road into the park is really spectacular very similar to the bus ride up the Zion NP canyon along the Virgin River. Lots of need stuff to see in the loop within the park. One really unique feature was the Wooden Shoe Arch Picture included. Every where we looked were amazingly beautiful sights th
