Girl, Guy, Globe
Life was nice and easy in the US for Rachael and Josh. Then, Josh’s employers gave him the opportunity to work abroad – in Dakar, Senegal to be exact. Rachael being a freelance writer/photographer made the decision to move that much easier. So, they packed up their belongings, including two dogs and headed off to Africa, where they will reside for the next couple of years.

The World of Nickolândia
From Chicago’s hot dogs to Brazil’s BBQ to Scotland’s microwavable Haggis to Ethopia’s massive mangos, you’d think this was a foodie travel blog – but it’s not. Instead, it’s about Nick Bartlett’s cultural encounters as he travels. He may not ride a camel across the Sahara but he does eat well. He also enjoys his experiences along the way.

Formula 1 Singapore Style

Not only was the race really great to watch but the entire event as a whole was very interesting. Even though we were in Singapore the majority of the people in attendance were westerners
Asias Business Gateway
As the global engine of growth shifts from west to east a number of strategically situated cities and nations are looking to position themselves as a springboard for international firms to grow their footprint throughout the region. The demand for this type of consolidated entry point evolves from one solid truth that many firms are recognizing. I heard this truth most eloquently explained by one

Are all these men really called John
Today we went Buddha spotting. We saw a tiny green one the Emerald Buddha at The Grand Palace and an enormous golden one the Standing Buddha at Wat Indrawihan. We nearly saw a Black Buddha too but the monks were too busy chanting and going about their business to let us in. We39d planned to visit Wat Pho next to see the Reclining Buddha and visit the massage school but they wouldn39t
