Access music stored on OneDrive using Xbox Music

Microsoft now lets you store music in your OneDrive account for streaming on your Xbox. Here's what you need to know.

Xbox Music. Jason Cipriani/CNET

On Wednesday, Microsoft expanded the functionality of Xbox Music beyond that of strictly a paid streaming service. The added functionality allows you to upload music you already own to your OneDrive account and access it on your Xbox.

It's a welcome addition to the service, especially for those who'd rather not pay a monthly fee for access to Microsoft's music catalog. Which was, up until now, all Xbox Music was good for.

The service is similar to that of Apple's iTunes Match or Google's Play Music. The former is $25 a year, while both Google and Microsoft offer their services for free.

The process as outlined by Microsoft. Screenshot by Jason Cipriani/CNET

The process for using Xbox Music to stream your own music is simple.

First, you need to decide if you want to install the OneDrive app on your computer or use the website to upload your music. A limitation to keep in mind as you decide: the website doesn't allow you to upload folders. Meaning, if you have 10,000 songs (the limit is 50,000) you can't simply drag-and-drop your Music folder onto the website and watch as it uploads your content.

The OneDrive app, however, does allow you to upload entire folders. I suggest going this route, especially if you have a large music catalog. Download OneDrive here.

Next, sign into OneDrive using the same Microsoft account you use on your Xbox. Once you're signed in, begin uploading your music to the Music folder in your OneDrive account. This is an important detail; if the music is stored anywhere else, Xbox Music won't see it.

Some on FTC wanted antitrust suit against Google

Google came close to having to defend antitrust charges in the U.S.: Staff at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission who monitor competition pushed for an antitrust lawsuit against it in 2012, the Wall Street Journal reported. A staff report that has just come to light concluded that the search giant used anticompetitive tactics and abused its monopoly power in ways that harmed Internet users and competitors, the paper said. Another faction at the Commission, the economics bureau, issued a report advising against a lawsuit and no action was taken. Among the most damning findings: there was evidence that Google gamed its system to promote its own services and demote rivals, and scraped content from other sites.

Target data breach lawsuit will cost $10 million to settle

A class-action lawsuit brought against Target for harm caused by its massive 2013 data breach will cost the retailer $10 million if a proposed settlement is finalized by the court. Individual victims could receive up to $10,000. Target would also have to develop and test a security program for protecting consumer data and implement a process of monitoring and identifying security threats.

Teslas over-the-air upgrades will add autonomous driving features

Teslas Model S electric cars will receive over-the-air software upgrades, including some self-driving capabilities. Were now almost able to travel from San Francisco to Seattle with the driver barely touching the wheel at all, founder Elon Musk said during a conference call today. Other features that could be delivered over the air include an Auto Steering function that allows drivers to summon their cars while on private property, and a Valet feature, which is a smartphone app that can be used to call the car to the front door or instruct it to park. Those may face some regulatory hurdles as current rules only allow the testing of autonomous cars with a driver present in the vehicle.

Amazon can test delivery drones outside now

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos captured the publics imagination when he floated the idea of delivery-by-drone in a television interview more than a year ago. Now, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is bringing what sounded like a wild scenario closer to reality, by approving the companys plan to test drones outside, re/code reports. Recently proposed rules still dont permit the kind of commercial use Amazon wants, but its obviously keeping its goal in mind.

ISPs gave their customers routers with security holes

ISPs have handed out at least 700,000 routers containing a security vulnerability to customers in several countries. The flaw could let an attacker change the DNS server a router users and then divert people to malicious websites, according to security researcher Kyle Lovett, who came across the flaw in his spare time. Most of the affected routers are in Asia and South America, with some in the U.S. and Italy.

(wouldve been Twilight only I didnt see it) (wouldve been Fifty Shades of Grey, only I didnt bother with it)

In the last 10 years my list would include (in no specific order):

Prometheus Guardians of the Galaxy (seriously its good and all but not great) The Insidious Trilogy Annabelle (shouldve seen how people gagged over its release in the Bangladesh theatres) Elysium TMNT The Bayformers Trilogy (2-4, I actually dug the first one) Alvin and the Chipmunks (er) Ted (I mean, whats up with that?) The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (wayy too much advertisement on Sonys end) Frank Millers The Spirit (sadly) oh oh! X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and X3: THE LAST STAND Superman Returns (people bash MoS but this was the Superman movie that launched a thousand butts out of the the genre and actually made people LOSE hope in the genre).

Of course, the OPPOSITE, that being the best movie with the best hype which exceeded the hype still has to be THE DARK KNIGHT and its awesome, awesome viral campaign (Harvey friggin Dent making an international phone call for a call to arms ?? Fuggetaboutit!)

How to make those last-gen Borderlands save files more Handsome for PS4 and Xbox One

AsBorderlands: The Handsome Collections release draws closer, its time to dust off your old PlayStation 3, PS Vita, or Xbox 360 and salvage those save files fromBorderlands 2 andBorderlands: The Pre-Sequel.Gearbox has shared details on how to bring those saves along to the new consoles so you can pick up rightwhere you left off.

In order to migrate your saves, make sure youve downloaded the latest patches for the older games, which will be available prior toThe Handsome Collections release. After the game is up to date, there should be a new option in the main menu for Cross Save (PlayStation) or Cloud Save (Xbox), then Upload Save. Once the file has been copied, load upThe Handsome Collection, select Cloud/Cross Save and then simply download. Note that you need the games day one patch in order for the feature to work.

Save files can only be transferred within the Xbox or PlayStation ecosystems, not between. PlayStation 3/4 and Vita can all exchange files freely in a triangle (althoughThe Pre-Sequel is not on Vita). Similarly, saves can be transferred between Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Related:The next Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel DLC invites you into the twisted mind of Claptrap

Transferred saves bring over all of your character and mission progress, inventory, weapon, cash and other currencies, skins, and items in the bank. Badass Points all transfer as well, but you have to re-spend them, which could be a great chance to re-spec your characters anyway.

Goodies stored in Claptraps Secret Stash inBorderlands 2, however, donot go along for the ride, so be sure to move anything you need to your personal inventory or the bank. Golden Keys also donttransfer, but players can snag 75 new keys along with a healthy chunk of Badass Rank and some new weapons or customizations for signing in to 2Ks SHiFT service for the first time with bothBorderlands 2andThe Pre-Sequel inThe Handsome Collection.

Borderlands: The HandsomeCollectioncombinesBorderlands 2 andBorderlands: The Pre-Sequel with all of their respective DLC into a single, HD collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It arrives for all platforms on March 24.

Reddits ugly, racist secret: How it became the most hateful space on the Internet

When you think of places on the Internet where racists like to congregate, there are probably a few obvious locales that jump to mind: the explicitly white supremacist Stormfront, the hipster-racist Takis Magazine, the comments at YouTube, the comments at the Daily Caller, the comments at almost any local news website So basically every comment thread on every popular or conservative website. But according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center(SPLC), the arguably vilest, ugliest, nastiest and most unapologetically hateful space on the Internet is not in some comment thread you werent going to read anyway but at one of the most popular websites there is: Reddit.

Recently, Salon spoke over the phone with Keegan Hankes, a research analyst at SPLC and the author of the piece. Our discussion touched on the white supremacist forums (known as subreddits) hes found at Reddit, why the folks running Reddit have not done anything to remove them, and how they complicate the free speech absolutist stance thats long characterized Reddits approach to moderation. Our conversation is below and has been edited for clarity and length.

Why did you look at this? What sparked this idea?

I actually spend a whole lot of time investigating Stormfront, which is probably the largest white supremacist forum on the Internet. Its been around for going on 20 years Ive noticed some of the people Ive tracked on there, some of the people who participate on other white supremacist websites, had mentioned Reddit in the past. So Ive kind of in passing been watching it. As I watched these networks of racists websites develop, I got more interested, especially once I found some of the more violent ones.

Could you give me a sense of how large these communities are?

Stormfront is going to be, by the numbers, since its a membership website, the largest. Its been around and the accounts arent deleted; its been accumulating them for 20 years. They have over 200,000 registered users. Now, the Reddit community theres one subreddit that has 5,500 subscribers right now which puts it just into the top 5,000 subreddits, which is relatively small compared to other subreddits that are active. But that does not figure in the audience of the site. So these do not include outside audience members that are perusing it. Id say its a small community; but its significant in the fact that it does drive a lot of traffic to websites outside of Reddit.

Your piece notes that these subreddits are often full of racist snuff films. Do you have any idea where these videos are coming from? Or are they originating on Reddit?

One thing thats distinct about Reddit that drew our attention was very violent videos typically of black men being killed very graphically that you cant even put on Stormfront or other white supremacist sites. They will get taken down. And thats one of the things that sets Reddit apart the fact that it has much less oversight in some ways than Stormfront and what youd typically consider the nastiest white supremacist forums on the Internet.

As far as where theyre getting the content from, it depends on exactly what the video is. The more graphic and explicit ones, some of this stuff cant even be posted on YouTube. But some of the more simple YouTube videos that theyre putting up links to are from some other third-party hosting site that has looser restrictions on what you can upload and host Its coming from many different members, its not just one guy up there every day posting a nasty video. Its from a wide variety of sources.

Do the people at Stormfront ever mention these subreddits? How do they feel about them?

Seagate Personal Cloud Review

Nate Swanner

Cloud storage is the current step were taking when it comes to managing our files. We also look to cloud storage to keep our pictures and videos safe, too. With all the security mishaps of late, keeping your info locked away on someone elses hardware might be concerning. If that sounds like you, Seagate has a solution. Their Personal Cloud offers similar cloud-based features as your existing provider, except its all yours. Does it perform as well as its billed, though? We find out.

The exterior of the Personal Cloud from Seagate is a handsome black slate that will look great in any home or office. Its classy, plain and simple. A small branding efforton the front and quiet light toward the top corner are your only interruptions of note.

Inside, the Personal Cloud uses NAS HDDs. The total storage on the Personal Cloud as tested was 8TB. It is a 2-bay system, though, which means two 4TB bays that can be configured.

The two bays are RAID 0 and 1, respectively. That offers you data security as well as an option to extend your hardware; you can either activate both drives for read/write, or choose to keep one as a mirror.

Setting the Personal Cloud up is simple. I quite literally plugged it into my router, and my MacBook recognized it as a connected, shared drive in seconds.

From there, Personal Cloud acts as any other cloud storage might. You can upload files as you wish from desktop or mobile, and it even works with some smart TVs. If you want to stream it to a non-smart TV, you can cast your pics and video to a Roku or Chromecast.

So long as you have your Personal Cloud hooked up to a router via ethernet (and your Internet connection stays active), you can access your files from anywhere in the world. Again, its just like the cloud solution you have now. I tried uploading/downloading/accessing files while out and about on both mobile and desktop, and never had a problem.

Uploads happen just as snappy as Google Drive, my cloud storage of choice.

Theres an automatic upload option I really enjoyed, here. It worked just like youd find with iPhoto, Dropbox, or any other syncing cloud storage solutions. Take pics and forget all about uploading.

Gearbox Explains How To Transfer Saves To The Handsome Colleciton

Gearbox has laid out the necessary steps for players to bring their old saves forward to current consoles for The Handsome Collection. Though the official Gearbox explanation digs into the nitty-gritty details of transferring the save data, the overall process shouldnt be terribly hard for most players.

In order to transfer old saves forward, all thats needed is the patches which enable cross-save functionality in Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel as well as the day-one patch for The Handsome Collection. After that, it should be a fairly simple process of uploading and downloading saves using the in-game menus.

There are, however, a few caveats to keep in mind. Gearbox only supports one save upload at a time, which means players will have to go back and forth between versions if they want to transfer all their characters. Unlike Sony systems, for which saves can be universally transferred, the Xbox versions of the games can only transfer forward to Xbox One. Uploading a save also doesnt remove it from the original system.

Not everything will transfer along with the saves though. Character level, mission progress, Badass Points, current inventory, weapon slot, money, eridium, moonstones, unlocked character customizations, and items store in the bank in Sanctuary will all transfer. However, items stored in Claptraps stash from Borderlands 2 will not transfer, nor will trophies and achievements.

The transfer also leaves behind golden keys, which act as a currency for the game's variable-level random loot generator. Gearbox is hoping to make up for that by handing out 75 golden keys, a healthy chuck of Badass Rank, and bonus customization items for people who played previous versions of the games.

For an idea of what to expect from the games in The Handsome Collection, check out our review of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. For more information on the collection itself, check out our in-depth preview. If you're confused or curious about the transfer process, Gearbox'sofficial explanationhas more detailed information.

Our Take It's likely no small annoyance for fans that Gearbox couldn't work out a way to transfer more than one save at a time, but they also didn't have to do it at all. It would have been easy to cite technological difficulty as a reason for making players start over again, and not doing so shows they're still committed to the series' longevity.

Can We Build an Internet That Includes the Hearing Impaired?

TIME Ideas technology Can We Build an Internet That Includes the Hearing Impaired?

Steve Friess is a freelance writer.

Like any good Apple fanboy, I stopped everything last Monday to see what new goodies CEO Tim Cook had up his sleeve or, in this case, on his wrist. I came away uncertain if I need an Apple Watchand wondering why a company as admired for devices that break down barriers for people with disabilities had chosen to make this event inaccessible for millions of people like me. My frustration: The presentations live stream didnt have real-time closed captioning.

This is a common problem for people with hearing loss in the digital age, and the next day I found myself equally aggravated to see that just one major news websiteCNNprovided live subtitles for Hillary Clintons email press conference. MSNBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, Bloomberg, and CSPAN all lacked live captioning on their streams, especially baffling since they all included them in the live TV presentations of the same event.

Such is, but should not be, life in the Digital Age as one of the 36 million Americans who have hearing loss or are deaf. Those of us who rely on captionsI have worn bilateral hearing aids since I was in the second gradeare being left behind, stuck reading recaps, tweets, and live-blogs instead of experiencing key cultural and news events firsthand like everyone else.

The irony of the problem is that Deaf advocates had enjoyed a near-complete triumph in getting the FCC and Congress to force broadcast and cable TV outlets to provide live captioning in the late 1990s. Then, the party moved online and those gains became increasingly worthless in the Internet age.

As streaming video improvedand became more critical to basic cultural literacyaccess has gotten worse. In 2012, the FCC finally set up some rules that are only now kicking in for broadcasters regarding what they post online, but theyre very weak. By next month, programs shown on TV and posted in full must have closed-captioning within 45 days of airing. By April 2016, that window drops to 15 days. But video clips are exempt, as is live programming and, of course, all made-for-Web content.

There are legal challenges in the works regarding some situations, such as the federal lawsuit filed against Harvard and MIT last month to force them to caption online lectures and other educational materials. It boggles the mind that nobody at either of those liberal bastionslocated in the same region that boasts WGBH, the Boston PBS station that essentially invented closed captioningsaid, Oh. Right. Duh. There. Fixed. But neither the law, the courts, nor anyones conscience has yet to touch news or entertainment content providers in any important way.

Whats more, its stunning how little they seem to care, given that its not just a terrible moral decision but an awful commercial one as well. The number of Americans with hearing lossalready about 17% of the adult populationwill skyrocket as Baby Boomers age and as Millennials and Gen Xers start to pay in decibels for their lifelong addictions to earbuds. An awful lot of people are going to start missing out on an awful lot of stuff. Youd think that advertisers would at least want their commercials captioned, given the millions they spend trying to get their messages out. But almost no ads onlineand very few on TV, actuallyare subtitled.

Every person with hearing loss has a list of personal grievances. I pay as much as you for HBO Go, so why dont the extras and featurettes for Game of Thrones have subtitles just like the show itself? Ive waited seven years and counting to watch Neil Patrick Harris pioneering Web series Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog, but there were no captions when it first appeared for freeand still arent even now when they get $3 an episode on iTunes. And Id love to know what the big deal is with that lady who bathes in milk and Froot Loops while interviewing the presidentor somethingbut, again, no captions.

Microsoft may speed up Windows updates with peer-to-peer distribution

Microsoft is experimenting with peer-to-peer distribution for Windows 10 updates, potentially making the download process less agonizing.

According to The Vergeand Ars Technica, the latest leaked build of Windows 10 adds a Choose how you download updates section to the settings menu. This section has a toggle for downloading apps and updates from multiple sources to get them more quickly. Users can then choose to get apps and updates from other PCs on a local network, and from other computers on the Internet.

While the leak doesnt mention peer-to-peer technology specifically, The Verge notes that Microsoft acquired Pando Networks, a maker of P2P file sharing technology, in 2013. Its possible that this technology is playing a role in the new Windows 10 features.

If Microsoft goes ahead with this feature, itll likely have to provide some assurances on the security front, as peer-to-peer updates would be a disaster if attackers were somehow able to taint Windows updates. Users may also want to know what kind of responsibilities theyd shoulder on the upload side, in terms of how often theyd be seeding updates and drawing system resources.

Microsoft has gone nearly two months without delivering a new preview build for Windows 10, though the company may soon speed up the cycle for users who dont mind extra bugs. Between peer-to-peer updates and the first release of the Project Spartan web browser, the next build is shaping up to be a big one.

Why this matters: If youve ever tried to install a major Windows update on launch day, youve likely experienced the pain of sluggish downloads and server timeouts. A peer-to-peer system would solve that problem by taking a load off Microsofts servers, provided the company can make sure its software stays secure along the way.

Make money with your phone

File photo.(REUTERS/Gustau Nacarino)

You don't like to think about it, but between the up-front cost and the monthly contract payments, yourphone costs you a fair bit of money. What you might not realize is that it can make you money, too.

You wont get rich, but you can pay for a few trips to Starbucks. Heres how to get started.

1. Sell your photos

I've talked in the past about making money with microstock photography, but it involves taking pictures, moving them to a computer, cleaning them up, finding a good site to upload them and then promoting them. It would be nice if you could trim down the process.

Foapis an app (Android, Apple; Free) that does just that. Simply take pictures with your smartphone's camera and your favorite photo app, and then add them to Foap.

Just about any kind of image can sell if a company thinks it will work for it. That means that cute pet picture, vacation photos, even photos of food if you have those.

There are no limits on how many photos you can upload, and for every sale you get $5.If you want to make more, Foap offers photo missions where big brands pay hundreds or thousands to get specific photos.

2. Do tiny tasks forbig payoffs

If you don't mind getting out and about, you can take small jobs around your city. These are things like verifying that a display stand has been put up in a store, or the arrangements of productson a shelf. If you don't like to travel, some tasks can even be done from your living room.

Awesome tech you cant buy yet: Waterproof drones, robotic pancake printers

At any given moment there are approximately a zillion different crowdfunding campaigns happening on the Web. Take a stroll through Kickstarter or Indiegogo and youll find theres no shortage of weird, useless, and downright stupid projects out there alongside some real gems. Weve cut through the Pebble clones and janky iPhone cases to round up the most unusual, ambitious, and exciting projects out there this week. Keep in mind that any crowdfunded project even the best intentioned can fail, so do your homework before cutting a check for the gadget of your dreams.

Remember that nifty Bluetooth-enabled padlock that popped up on Kickstarter a few months back the Noke? Well Fuz Labs, the startup that made the device, is now back on the crowdfunding scene in hopes of funding its latest creation: a Bluetooth U-lock for your bike. Aesthetically, the new lock looks almost exactly like the old-school U-lock you know and love just without any keyholes or combination dials. Instead, it uses its Bluetooth brains to communicate with your smartphone and detect when youre close by. To open it, just click the lock shaft once and itll automatically look for a phone with a compatible Bluetooth key, and then unlock when it finds one. You dont even need to take your phone out of your pocket. For the most part, it retains the originals features, but Fuz Labs has also introduced a few new features in the new lock. The U-Lock also sports an integrated alarm system designed to scare off would-be thieves, and GPS tracking to help you remember where you locked your wheels up.

Flying a drone over solid ground is one thing, but flying it over water is a whole nother ball game. With all manner of electronics on board, an unexpected aquatic landing is almost always a death sentence for your drone, which makes flying it much more stressful. Thats not the case for the Splash Drone, however. Recently launched on Kickstarter, this hardy little quadcopter is encased in a buoyant waterproof shell, so it can safely land and float on water without being damaged. But waterproof components arent the only trick Splash has up its sleeve. Even without the watertight hull, its still got an impressive list of features. On its underbelly, the Splash is outfitted with a gimbal, allowing you to mount a GoPro on it and shoot super-stable video. This gimbal is also completely waterproof, so you can shoot while either airborne or submerged, and its also got anauto-follow function, so it can shoot video autonomously while you play in the water.

Do you burn through notebooks and find yourself constantly having to buy new ones? Rocketbook might be just what you need.Freshly launched on Indiegogo, the notebook is designed to be completely reusable paper and all. Once you fill up all the pages, the Rocketbook is able to digitize all your notes and store them in the cloud, and then clear all the pages so you can write on them again. The pages of the notebook (which are just regular-ol paper, by the way) feature a set of seven different symbols, which can be mapped to different cloud storage services. Mark one of the symbols on the page, and when you scan it with Rocketbooks accompanying smartphone app, a digitized copy of the page will instantly be sent to the cloud storage platform of your choice. After youve scanned, digitized, and saved your notes, you can just pop Rocketbook in the microwave for 30 seconds and itll erase all your notes so long as you use a Pilot FriXion pen.

Its been nearly a year since we last heard anything about PancakeBot, but now the creator is back with a new-and-improved version thats ready for mass production. PancakeBot 2.0 boasts a number of big improvements over the original, the most notable of which is definitely the accompanying software application. To make your own pancake design, you can now either freehand it, or upload an image and trace over the lines. Either way, the program will track every line you make with your mouse and then recreate the design with pancake batter on the skillet. In other words, you dont need to have crazy CAD skills to design a cool pancake. The batter extruder has also been updated and now features onboard controls that allow you to adjust how quickly batter gets squirted onto the skillet. This is a pretty big deal, as it allows you to adjust PancakeBot so that it can handle batters of varying viscosity. Without these controls, youd basically have to make batter exactly the same way every time you make breakfast.

Additive manufacturing (aka 3D printing) gets all the attention these days, but despite the feverish pace at which the technology is advancing, traditional manufacturing processes still carry certain advantages namely, the ability to work with materials other than plastic. Theyre coming along, but 3D printers that print anything other than PLA or ABS are ridiculously expensive, so if you want to make something out of metal or wood, your best bet is to go with a traditional CNC mill. The only downside, however, is that mills generally cant make many of the exotic impossible shapes that 3D printers can. Wouldnt it be nice if there was a machine that could give you best of both worlds? Enter: the BoXZY Rapid Change FabLab. It can do it all printing in plastic, milling wood or metal, and even laser cutting/engraving. Each tool exists as a rapid-change attachment, so you can swap from mill, to 3D printer, to laser cutter in a matter of seconds.

Dunno if thats true but they seem to be ignoring all of it. I saw a report. here on ScreenRant I think. that theyre working on a novel (or series) to link RotJ with FA.

Personally I couldnt give a rats a$$ about cannon.

Am I now not going to re-read the Thrawn trilogy cause Disney says it dont count of course Im gonna re-read it (cause its AWESOME!!!!)

Its the same with the majority of comic titles and most film series (x-men, looking at you).

The current creators take what they want, leave what they dont and fill in the blanks with their own stuff, every so often they hit a re-set switch (how long before Marvel re-boot Iron Man Phase 5 in 2020 and start the whole thing again??)

Remember the nonsense about Avengers AoU in the beginning

Oi Marvel dont you know that Hank Pym created Ultron not Iron Man. not gonna see your film please, give it a rest.

Does this now make the million years on Ant-Man comics irrelevant, no of course it doesnt.

Getting hung up on cannon, to me is pointless.

The universe is the universe, enjoy whats out there in the particular sandbox you play in whether the current crop of story threads include something you like (or dislike Last Stand) or not.

The holiday of the future will still provide memories of strolls along sunny beaches, the sensation of sand between your toes and the peaceful rush of the ocean, but there will be one crucial difference.

You won't have ever actually been away - in fact you might not have even left your home.

Instead, people will download memories to their brains to make them feel as if they have been on a sun-kissed holiday.

Thats just one of the many realities we could face as we learn to manipulate the human mind, US physicist Dr Michio Kaku told MailOnline in an exclusive interview.

A Hungarian family has been jailed after they trafficked vulnerable girls to Britain and forced them to work as sex slaves for three years.

Alex Breier, 41, arranged for three girls to be brought to the UK and forced them to upload their images to a website for men to choose which one they wanted to abuse, a court heard.

With the help from his wife, sister, son-in-law and even his own son and daughter, he operated from brothels in Manchester, Bolton and across the North West of England.

You just need the ability to Skype or UStreamfrom your computer or smart phone.>> SPOKANE, Wash. - People are loving this first part of March. Warm temperatures, golf courses opening up early It feels that Spring has sprung around the Inland Northwest and that it is here to stay, and it looks like the National Weather Service and the Climate Prediction Center or CPC agree.

February ended as the 8th warmest February on record with an average high temperature of 47.1 degrees! A full 7.1 degrees above normal. Now this March has seen two back to back days above 60 and the next seven days are looking to continue above average temperatures. Keep in mind that Spring officially starts on March 20th.

Lots of people wondering though, will this last? Can we continue to see upper 50's and low 60's through the rest of the month and even farther out.

Take a look at the next 8-14 day outlook below. An almost sure chance that we stay, in the Inland Northwest, well above average for the next two weeks.

(8-14 day outlook)

Then look at the rest of March, again well above average for our temperatures.

(March)

Your next thought might then be, well with this nice Spring we are having, what about the summer months? Good news for those love heat and dry conditions because that is the trend. The June-July-August outlook provided by the CPC showing a warm trend, especially true for the western half of the United States, and this could mean disaster for fire season.

Selfie addict: Olivia Russell, 15, who lives with her parents Nigel and Tracy in Ashford, Kent

Every week, more than 17 million selfies are uploaded to social media websites mainly by teenagers. To understand the obsession, Femail asked 15-year-old Olivia Russell, a pony-mad, middle-class schoolgirl, to record a day in her life as a selfie addict. She lives with her parents, businessman Nigel, 50, and Tracy, 49, in Ashford, Kent. Here, her mother reveals the frustrations and fears of having a daughter who documents and shares her every move on her phone...

Tracy says: I doubt theres been a day in the past two years when I havent argued with my teenage daughter Olivia about the amount of time she spends taking selfies and posting them online.

Yes, I have a mobile phone, but I use it to make calls and thats it. This obsessive photograph taking is just beyond me. I dont understand it.

When I go to a restaurant and a lovely plate of food is placed in front of me, my first thought is: I cant wait to tuck in!

Olivias first thought is: I must take 12 pictures of it and upload it to six different media sites. Everything takes twice as long as it should do because shes always taking selfies. Just getting ready in the morning so I can drive her to school is a nightmare.

I feel as if I spend my whole life shouting Just get a move on! up the stairs or hammering on her bedroom door.

Finally! Xbox One, meet Screenshots

It is almost mind boggling that such a basic need, like taking a screenshot to boast about your latest in-game triumph, would take so long to implement. But they say that good things come to those who wait, and those who wait need to wait just a little bit longer. Screenshot capability is finally coming to the Xbox One console when the latest system update rolls to everyone in March. Fortunately, that's not the only reason to be excited about this update.

OK, maybe it's a bit too much to get worked up about being able to take screenshots of a game, but even Major Nelson himself concedes that this is the most requested feature by the Xbox One community. Now you can simply double press the Xbox controller button and your screenshot is automatically taken. And what would you do with the screenshot? You can make it your Xbox Home background if you wish, thanks to the new feature on the Upload app. The Upload Studio itself got a bunch of new updates that deserved a treatment of its own.

The system update will bring new settings to control your privacy and online safety, but one new feature in particular seems to counteract that. Now you can opt to share your real name with either all your friends or everyone in the Xbox Live world. The reasons for this, supposedly, is to help Xbox users find you by your real name in case they don't know your gametag. Do remember to use the feature with caution, however. Speaking of friends, there is a new Suggested Friends area that will, well, suggest new people that you can Friend, from people you might know or just people that Xbox thinks you might want to follow.

When the update rolls out, Xbox One owners will get the option to set the tile transparency for their homescreen in order to better flaunt that epic screenshot, which you will soon be able to take thanks to the new feature. This has been a long promised feature that is now finally making its way to the community, and may actually hint at a similar feature for Windows 10, on phones to be precise. Xbox One owners from down under have a special surprise for them in this update as well, as OneGuide and the Digital TV Tuner are now open to them.

These are just some of the juicy bits of the update that will be rolling out next month. But those lucky enough to be part of the Xbox One Preview Program are probably already enjoying this feast now.
