CCRC State Committeemen Results
On December 15th, Coconino County Republicans met to vote on new officers and state committeemen. The results were announced at the meeting and you can clearly hear the names John Kistler and Drake Mitchell in the video above. At the meeting rules were voted on and passed. One of the rules said "The results as announced by the Credentials Committee spokesperson are final. No further discussion will be entertained." On December 21st new CCRC Chair, Joy Staveley, sent out a list of the newly elected state committeemen. Drake Mitchell and John Kistler had been replaced with names not announced at the meeting. Worse, in the new numbers released, Staveley says that Kistler received the least amount of votes of anybody who ran. How can someone go from being a winner, to receiving the least amount of votes and not even coming close? Both Kistler and Mitchell were liberty PCs who wanted more transparency in the Coconino County Republican Committee. Many feel that they have been directly targeted for removal because of their dedication to liberty. LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- John Caleb Sanders scored a career-high 24 points, on 9-of-11 shooting, as Liberty beat Milligan 81-63 Friday night.
Davon Marshall scored 13 points and Tavares Speaks came off the bench to add 13 for Liberty (2-10).
After scoring 15 points in the first half, Sanders made a layup to begin the second half and spark an 18-10 run, helping Liberty push a 38-27 halftime lead to 56-35 with 12:59 left to play.
Milligan (8-7), an NAIA program, got as close as 14 points in the second half, but was held to just 36.1 percent shooting (22 for 61) for the game as the Flames ran away with the victory.
Liberty outscored Milligan 12-0 on fast-break points.
Sanders grabbed seven boards and Tomasz Gielo finished with nine rebounds as the Flames outrebounded the Buffaloes 54-41.
Palaima Ignas led Milligan in scoring and rebounding with 15 points and seven boards.
