Liberty Coach Starts Fall Selling Season with Record Sales Achievements

It happens every fall.

The arrival of September saw sales activity at Liberty Coach roar into high gear, as the company chalked up 5 new coach sales in less than two weeks.

The total included three 2015 Elegant Lady Ravello editions, two of which were sold on the same day a company first, according to Liberty Coach managing partner Frank Konigseder. The other two sales were pre-ordered custom 2016 model year coaches which will be built and delivered next year.

All three of the Ravello models were showcased on Liberty Coachs Coach of the Week Facebook feature, which was recently expanded into a multi-faceted marketing campaign that also includes the homepage of the Liberty Coach website, weekly eblasts and more. Next in line for the spotlight is LC Stock No. 780, the Verona Edition.

Like all contemporary Liberty Coach models, the Verona is built on a top-of-the-line Prevost H3-45 bus platform, which is powered by a Volvo D13 engine with Allison 6-speed transmission. The roomy floorplan features a pair of space-expanding slides, including Libertys exclusive Bedroom Superslide which facilitates one of the largest and most luxurious bedroom suites to be found in a motorcoach conversion. Standard bedroom area design features include a king-size bed with PranaSleep mattress, 32-inch LED/LCD high definition television, and opulent bath featuring a new oversized shower enclosure.

The rest of the coach is loaded with exceptional features, as well. Kitchen galley appliances include a Gaggenau cooktop, Miele convection oven and microwave, full-size Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Bosch stacked washer and dryer set, and Keurig coffee maker. The fully integrated HDMI audio/video system includes state-of-the-art Marantz amplifiers and tuners, custom-designed KEF speaker systems, Winegard in-motion as well as HD DSS Satellite Systems with 2 HD DVR receivers, and Winegard electric TV antenna with HD tuners. And virtually everything can be controlled via iPhone or iPad through Liberty Coachs custom-configured Crestron remote control system, the most advanced in the industry.

Dillards shares more details about Liberty Center store

The Dillards department store for the mega retail complex Liberty Center will feature the latest designs and technology by the Arkansas retailer, according to the company.

When the Dillards store was announced in spring 2013 as Liberty Centers first anchor tenant, it was described by developers as a flagship store.

Dillards submitted last month plans for construction. The two-story, 200,000-square-foot store is comparable in size to the companys other stores, said the retailers spokeswoman Julie Johnson Bull. It will feature large womens and mens apparel sections, as well as revamped displays for womens shoes and handbags, Bull said.

Merchandise will bear brand names such as Michael Kors, Coach, Vera Bradley, Ralph Lauren and others.

Updated LED lighting fixtures will be energy efficient.

It certainly will be a destination for the shoppers, she said.

Other store sections include childrens and home goods. The customer who knows us and loves us in Cincinnati, shes going to appreciate the same great merchandise and service, but shes going to have it in a beautiful new facility, Bull said.

This will feature the best we have to offer in merchandise selection, she said.

A portion of the second floor, less than half, will be unused when Dillards opens with the rest of Liberty Center in fall 2015, according to a zoning application to the township.

Liberty Utilities electric customers face huge rate increase Nov. 1

CONCORD The state Public Utilities Commission has granted Liberty Utilities request to sharply increase its rates for the roughly 42,500 electric customers it serves in New Hampshire.

The increase, which kicks in Nov. 1, ranges from 39 percent to 59 percent depending on each customers class and usage, according to the petition filed by Liberty Utilities. The jump for most customers will hover around 47 percent, which means they can expect to pay about $50 more per month through the winter.

While Liberty Utilities is the Nashua areas chief supplier of natural gas, its electricity division, the former Granite State Electric, serves 23 towns, including Derry, Pelham, Windham and Salem. Its chief electric customer base is in the states Upper Valley region and northwestern Cheshire County.

The company blames a predicted shortfall in winter gas supplies for the rate increase. A shortage of natural gas pushes the companys costs higher, because natural gas is used to fuel its electric-generating plants.

The increase will nearly double the electric supply charge, which makes up about one-third of most home bills. All Liberty Utilities electric customers, from large industrial and commercial users to homeowners, will be impacted.

We are very aware that this rate increase may be a hardship for some of our customers, company spokesman John Shore acknowledged. Its not something we like to see, obviously. Our customers dont like to see it.

But unfortunately, its what the market is.

Shore advised customers to take advantage of the bill assistance and energy efficiency programs that (Liberty) offers.
