Carly Fiorina goes after Boxer on Central California Jobs and the Economy

CARLY-FORNIA!

From Eric Dondero:

Republican for US Senate Carly Fiorina is surging ahead of Democrat incumbent Barbara Boxer, in what many consider to be the most critical race in the Nation.

From PalinPromotions.com:

California Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina has increased her lead over Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer to five percentage points according to a new CBS 5 KPIX-TV poll released Thursday, which also shows gubernatorial candidates Democrat Jerry Brown and Republican Meg Whitman in a dead heat.

Now Fiorina is continuing with the momentum taking a campaign swing through the troubled agricultural region of the Central Valley. She is emphasizing very libertarian themes on the environment.

From the LA Times "Fiorina, Whitman court Central Valley voters" Aug. 12:

in Bakersfield, Senate nominee Carly Fiorina ticked off statistics about the slowing recovery and Kern County's unemployment rate — contending that incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer had failed the region by neglecting its water woes and by embracing what Fiorina described as the failed federal stimulus program.

"She has walked away from every opportunity to help," Fiorina said.

pumping restrictions imposed to protect the delta smelt remain a heated campaign theme. Signs dotting the region's highways beside barren fields proclaim a "Congress-created Dust Bowl." Other signs nearby bear Boxer's name with a slash through the "o."

Fiorina has accused Boxer of allying herself with "extreme environmentalists" [saying]...

"Forty-six thousand people lost their jobs because Barbara Boxer believed that a fish was more important than those 46,000 people and their families."

Virginia Libertarian Party candidate calls Perriello "delusional" for claiming ObamaCare about "libertarian rights"

JUST BREAKING... LR EXCLUSIVE...

Stuart Bain Issues Statement
on Perriello’s “Libertarian” Comment

Roanoke, VA – Stuart Bain, Libertarian Party candidate for Virginia’s 6th Congressional District race, issued a statement today about Democratic Congressman Tom Perriello’s (VA-05) comment that Obama’s health care plan is, “really being about individual rights and libertarian rights.[1]”

Bain said, “Clearly, Congressman Perriello is either delusional or completely uninformed as to the core principles of liberty. His assertion that the provisions of the Obamacare bill are anywhere close to being in line with the views of libertarians or the Libertarian Party is absurd. Libertarians believe in smaller government and free market solutions. Tom Perriello’s track record proves he believes the exact opposite.”

“Just the individual mandate alone violates everything even remotely related individual liberty. Luckily, we in Virginia don’t have to abide by the individual mandate thanks to Virginia’s Healthcare Freedom Act,” said Bain, referring to the state legislation passed earlier this year to thwart the federal government’s efforts to force citizens to buy health insurance.

When asked about the government forcing others to be charitable towards their fellow citizens, Bain responded that “Forced charity at the hands of the government is not charity at all. It is legalized plunder. If Congressman Perriello truly believed in the principles of liberty, he would know that free market solutions to health care are the only way to ensure cost effective solutions for all. With the amazing resurgence of support for libertarian ideals and principles in the country, it is clear that Congressman Perriello just views this as an opportunity and is using these comments as a ploy and last ditch effort to try and maintain his seat. While Perriello’s comments will no doubt reach the liberty-minded individuals of his district, they will not resonate at all.”

Bain went on to explain that Congressman Perriello’s vote to expand socialism in this country through Obamacare is no different than that of 6th District Congressman Bob Goodlatte’s (R) 2003 vote to expand socialism with the deficit-building, unfunded $5 trillion Medicare expansion. “The only difference is the letter after their names,” he said. “I don’t think either of those two votes are in line with the beliefs of the districts they represent.” Bain then mentioned that the Libertarian Party does not have a candidate running in the 5th district against Perriello this year, but that “the voters will have their say come November. My district and Congressman Perriello’s share areas like Lynchburg and Bedford. I talk to a lot of fired up activists in his district eager to see him defeated.”

Stuart Bain is the only major party candidate running for the United States House of Representatives in the sixth district of Virginia against incumbent Bob Goodlatte. He served in the United States Marine Corps after high school and studied computer science and business at Virginia Tech and American Sentinel University. He and his wife Sarah live in Salem, Virginia and have two children. Stuart is employed by a Roanoke-based web technology and marketing firm where he has served in the capacity of IT manager and Chief Technical Officer for the past eight years. He has the endorsement of the Libertarian Party and is the only candidate in the race who supports the popular Fair Tax Plan.

Summer of Recovery… In Germany

by Clifford F. Thies

According to the Obama administration, this was supposed to be the summer of recovery. And it is, for Germany. With spending under control and lowered tax rates, the German economy posted a respectable growth rate of 2.2 percent for the 2nd quarter of the year, highest among highly advanced economies.

But in America, it's been the summer of slowth: 0.6 percent, down from 0.9 last quarter and 1.2 the quarter before that. Germany famously avoided recourse to fiscal stimulus to deal with the global recession. Accordingly, it's budget deficit remains modest, at 3 percent of GDP, as compared to a budget deficit of 11 percent of GDP in the U.S. Furthermore, Germany has moved to moderate some of its tax rates (which remain quite high in support of its social insurance programs); while, in the U.S., tax rates have been rising and the talk is only of further increases.

Accordiong to the Wall Street Journal/Heritage Foundation index of economic freedom, during the past year, the first year of the Obama administration, the index has dopped by 2.7 points in the U.S. and has risen by 0.6 points in Germany, although it is still higher in the U.S.

The image is of a German uber-grinder, capable of grinding up and re-cycleing the materials in roads, small buildings vehicles and other things, in a single operation.

Michele Bachmann: Democrats fear the Tea Party most

Including libertarians

Appearing on Sean Hannity's America Tuesday night, Tea Party Caucus leader Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota commented about Democrat dirty tricks, including against Rand Paul:

It demonstrates clearly what the Democrats fear more than anything is the Tea Party in the mid-term elections. After all what the Tea Party is nothing more than mainstream Americans that don't like the Obama/Pelosi agenda. And that's made up of dissafected Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Libertarians...

Libertarian Party calls for immediate across the board pay cut for all Federal Employees

Libertarians call federal worker pay gap 'appalling'

WASHINGTON - Recent data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis show that federal government workers get compensation, on average, more than twice as high as private-sector workers. That gap has expanded dramatically over the last decade. Libertarian Party Chair Mark Hinkle released the following statement today:

"The numbers are appalling. In 2009, the average private-sector worker received $61,051 in total compensation, but the average federal government worker received $123,049. There is no excuse for this enormous, and growing, compensation gap.

"I guess you just can't beat a federal job. Very high pay, unbelievable benefits, extremely generous retirement plans, and near-perfect job security.

"And those retirement plans are often unfunded pensions, which will have to be paid by taxing our children and grandchildren, who never had the opportunity to vote when they were created.

"Apparently wishing to add insult to injury, government employee union reps have claimed that federal workers are entitled to their sky-high compensation because they are more educated and skilled than the rest of us. I have had many personal experiences with federal employees that indicate the exact opposite.

"The problem is that federal worker compensation is not set by the free market -- it's set by government fiat, which causes it to be artificially generous. Another factor is the monopoly government employee unions, which are able to extort that compensation up to even higher levels.

"One sure sign that federal employees are overpaid is that they never quit. Tad DeHaven of the Cato Institute has noted, '...in 2009, private sector employees quit at a rate that was more than eight times higher than federal employees.... This indicates that federal employees recognize that the generous combination of wages, benefits, and job security is hard to match in the private sector, so they stay put.'

"Libertarians support minimum government and maximum freedom. Unfortunately, federal employees have incentives to make government bigger, which makes us less free. With government employment paying more than the private sector, the rational self-interest of many workers will drive them to seek employment with the federal government.

"That's a formula for disaster.

"Libertarians want productive people working in the private sector to build our economy, not working for the government and hurting our economy.

"I would like to see an across-the-board pay cut for all federal workers. That would reduce federal spending, reduce the deficit, and reduce the insult to American private-sector workers. It also just might encourage some federal government employees to quit their jobs and seek more productive work in the private sector."

Flamboyant New Hampshire Libertarian-Republican Rep. wades into Sarah Palin death comments controversy

From Eric Dondero:

State Representative Steve Vallaincourt is without doubt New Hampshires most outspoken and quixotic legislator.

He is a self-described "Libertarian-Republican," (with the slash). He was originally elected to the House as a Democrat. But in 2000 he ran on the Libertarian ticket. He won as a Libertarian, and for two years served as America's only elected Libertarian legislator. After the term he switched to the Republican Party, but still continued to identify himself as a Libertarian.

Vallaincourt has a knack for national publicity. Ballot Access News explained in May of 2009:

Steve Vaillancourt is a Republican state legislator in New Hampshire who in 2000 was elected to the legislature solely as a Libertarian Party nominee. He has been in the national news this week. Two weeks ago, the New Hampshire legislature passed a bill to legalize same-sex marriage. Governor John Lynch said he would only sign that bill if it were amended to provide extra protection for individuals who do not ever want to be forced to participate in anything involving same-sex marriage.

On May 20, the House rejected the Governor’s proposed amendments to the bill, by a two vote margin. Vaillancourt, who is gay, and who supports same-sex marriage, feels the Governor’s amendments are bad policy, and spoke on the House floor against the Governor’s amendments. See this story.

Vaillancourt became the Libertarian Party nominee in 2000. He had been a Democratic house member but he had run and lost the Democratic primary for State Senate in August. After he was defeated in that primary, he asked the Libertarian Party to nominate him for his House seat.

Now, Vallaincourt is back in the national news, this time headlining on Fox News over the raging Sarah Palin controversy. A NH Democrat legislator commented on a Facebook page, that he wished Sarah Palin had been on the downed plane that killed former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens over the weekend. Democrat Rep. Keith David Halloran, a self-described "progressive," wrote:

"Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board..."

A colleague of Halloran's State Rep. Timothy Horrigan, D-Durham, who is also a progressive, then wrote:

"Well a dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one...she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn't commit any more gaffes."

Both legislators have since tendered their resignations to the State Party Chair.

But now, Vallaincourt is coming to the defense of Horrigan, saying that he was misinterpreted. From the Manchester Union-Leader:

"Rep. Horrigan didn't wish anyone dead; he simply stated a political truth," Vaillaincourt wrote. "Were Sarah Palin to die today, her myth, like actor James Dean, would surpass anything she's done in life. If Dem officials took Rep. Horrigan to the woodshed for these remarks, they rather than he should be resigning."

There has been no reaction yet from either the Republican Party in New Hampshire or the Libertarian Party to Vallaincourt's remarks.

Libertarian for Texas Governor Kathie Glass: Abolish Property Taxes

Efforts for Abolishment also underway in Wisconsin, North Dakota and New Mexico

From Eric Dondero:

Campaigning in Abilene yesterday, Libertarian candidate for Governor Houston-based lawyer Kathie Glass called for the complete elimination of all property taxes throughout the State.

From the Abiliene Reporter-News:

Her ideas would include an end to property taxes, which she regards as the most unfair of taxes, and a 50 percent cut in the state budget.

“That would put us back to where we were 10 years ago,” she said. “Coincidentally, the time that Rick Perry first became governor.”

Eliminating property taxes to pay for schools would be replaced by money raised locally. That would return control to local boards, who could decide what they needed to spend money on to serve their specific needs.

Glass is not alone. Libertarians nationwide are pushing for complete abolishment.

In North Dakota, the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, and local Tea Party groups are leading a drive to abolish Property Taxes statewide (article - PlainsDaily.com).

In New Mexico, Publisher of New Mexico Liberty and a Republican candidate for State House Thomas Molitor of Bernillo advocates abolishing property taxes, in part, to help minority rights. From NMPolitics.net 5/4:

In the Southwest, the property tax system has been used to tax minorities out of their neighborhood so affluent residents can “gentrify” areas. Few of the original Hispanic residents can continue to afford their homes, some of which have been in their families for more than 100 years, because the property tax is based on the valuations of the fancy new homes being built in adjacent neighborhoods.

Libertarians also believe that with property taxes an individual never really owns their home even when the mortgage is paid off; that in essence, the home is "rented" from the government.

In Wisconsin Libertarian candidate for State Rep.Anthony De Cubellis recently opined in the Racine Post:

It’s time for Wisconsin to abolish the property tax. No tinkering or fiddling with rates; abolish it completely. Abolishing the property tax would no longer allow politicians to play favorites with preferred companies -- by granting property tax exemptions -- while home-owning taxpayers pick up the budgetary slack. Abolishing the property tax would lower rents -- as the property tax would no longer be part of the owner’s costs. Abolishing the property tax would mean your property rights are secure -- in that you do not “rent” your property from your local government.

Harry Reid: Hispanics shouldn’t be in the Republican Party

From Eric Dondero:

In what some have interpreted as a shot at Republican nominee for Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, who happens to be running against Rory Reid, Harry Reid's son, Reid, Sr. said the following yesterday at a campaign stop:

“I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, OK? Do I need to say more?” — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), August 10, 2010

Sandoval is of Mexican heritage.

Meanwhile, RedState reports that another Hispanic Republican called Reid's charge "ridiculous," and "outrageous."

Marco Rubio on Fox News via RedState:

There’s only one economic system in the world that’s proved possible time and time again, and that’s the American free enterprise system. And the reason why Americans of Hispanic descent should be Republicans is because the Democratic leadership is trying to dismantle the American free enterprise system–the only system in the world where parents like mine, who work hard and play by the rules, can give their children the opportunities they themselves did not have.

Sandoval is currently way ahead of Rory Reid; latest poll by 19%. If elected he will become America's first Hispanic Republican Governor.

Conservatives for Marijuana Legalization

New Video including Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and other Conservative Republicans

A brand new SurveyUSA poll finds the Marijuana Legalization initiative in California leading by 50% to 40%.

A growing number of conservative Republicans are agreeing that legalization or at least alternative sentencing for small time marijuana use, allows for a better use of resources for law enforcement.

Jamaican American for US Senate in New York on Anti-Prohibition Party ticket

Served in Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani's adminstration

"Tax pot, not people." says Vivia Morgan

Vivia Morgan, mother, activist, union member and former Mayoral Aide is the first Jamaican-American to run for the US Senate in American history. Morgan announced today she will file 15,000 signatures with the state board of elelctions to run as an Independent candidate for the US Senate against Kirsten Gillibrand ( D-NY). Morgan is running on the Anti-Prohibition party ticket of Kristin Davis who is running for Governor.

"The Democrats and Republicans have nominated all-white, largely male tickets" said Morgan" They do not represent New York. There ought to be at least one black face for state-wide office on the November ballot".

Morgan is best known as the host of "The Vivia Morgan Show" on the Brooklyn Community Media Network which explored the impact of Caribbean art and music on the American Culture. Morgan lives in Brooklyn with her son, Negus Shawn Clark.Morgan worked in Mayor Rudy Giuliani administration in the Mayor's Office of Film Production.

'People from the West Indies must organize to make sure we get our share of the American Pie" said Morgan " We will not settle for failing schools, poor housing and the lack of jobs and opportunity at the same time we are paying the highest taxes in the nation.

New York Libertarians now going with Kristin Davis's Anti-Prohibition Party

"I am gratified by the thousands of Jamaican American and West Indian voters who have signed my petitions to get on the ballot "said Morgan who left the Libertarian party to run with Davis. Morgan said she financed her own ballot petition drive.

Vivia Morgan has a straight-forward platform- the Anti-Prohibition Party Platform, she opposes the current prohibition of marijuana.

"I want to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana. Marijuana is an harmless herb used for centuries. Alcohol is legal and does far more damage to people and society." said Morgan." Legalizing marijuana will bring millions in new taxes instead of asking us for more. I say tax pot not people".

Shocking Liberal Media Bias! Reporter says "not interested" in Republican challenger to Dem Rep.

The Hollywood Treatment: Don't call us; we'll call you

From Eric Dondero:

Former Washington Times correspondent and Libertarian Republican blogger Stacy McCain reports this morning that a reporter for a California newspaper told a campaign staffer of Republican nominee Mattie Fein, challenging incumbent Congresswoman Jane Harman, that they are "not interested," in any news or comments from his candidate.

Libertarian Party candidates are typically treated by the liberal media with such disdain. But now even some Republican Party candidates are receiving the same sort of treatment.

From Stacy McCain:

A reporter for the Torrance (Calif.) Daily Breeze sent an e-mail to a political consultant saying the newspaper is “not interested” in covering Republican candidate Mattie Fein, who is challenging Democratic Rep. Jane Harman in California’s 36th District.

In the e-mail sent Wednesday (see text below), Daily Breeze reporter Nick Green told consultant John S. Thomas of Thomas Partners Strategies, “Don’t call or e-mail us – we’ll call you if we’re interested. And if you haven’t got it yet, we’re not interested.”

See the screen shot itself of the email exchange at The Other McCain. The Daily Breeze serves South Bay and Marina Del Ray. Green who is now covering politics for the paper, is listed at the Breeze site as a "soccer columnist." Here is the full text of the email:

John:
Don’t call or e-mail us – we’ll call you if we’re interested. And if you haven’t got it yet, we’re not interested. And stop sending the same messages to my co-worker Art as well
Thank you.
Nick

Mattie Fein is a former associate producer of CNBC, former writer for the Financial Times and CBS Market Watch. She has been endorsed by the Calif. Small Business Assoc., the Howard Jarvis Comm., and libertarian Republican Cong. Dana Rohrabacher.

The coastal California district includes portions of West Los Angeles, Venice, Torrence, Redondo Beach, and Manhattan Beach.

There is a Libertarian Party candidate on the ballot as well, Herb Peters.

UPDATE!

Reporter Nick Green has responded to the controversy, calling Stacy McCain, an "Andrew Breitbart wannabee... with a clear agenda." (More on the story...)

Birth Tourism could lead to Birth Terrorism says Texas lawmaker

From Eric Dondero:

Congressman Louie Gohmert is best known for his libertarian streak on taxes. Gohmert has been pushing an idea for a Tax Holiday to reignite the stalled economy. Individuals would not have to pay any taxes to the federal government for a full two months. He's also joined with libertarian Republican Congressman Ron Paul of a nearby district, to advocate for the abolishment of the Estate Tax.

Now he's joining his friend Ron Paul on another issue: Illegal Immigration. Paul has been a longtime advocate of ending what's been dubbed, "anchor babies." He said in an ad in his 2008 campaign:

"Physically secure the border. No amnesty. No welfare to illegal aliens. End birthright citizenship. No more student visas from terrorist nations."

But Rep. Gohmert has taken Rep. Paul's reasoning one step further; Muslim women who come to he United States on a temporary VISA with the expressed intention of having a baby, so that they could join the Jihad against America as sleeper agents.

He was on Anderson Cooper's 360 last night and said the following:

GOHMERT: It first came to my attention when some of us were traveling to the Middle East last August, a year ago, and a lady on the plane was telling one of our group that they were about to have their second granddaughter and her husband was with Hamas, her grand -- I'm sorry, her son-in-law was with Hamas and that they were going to do with the second as they did with the first grandchild. The daughter is going to come to America right before it's born on a tourist visa and have baby.

They just like the option of having American citizens in the family. Hamas, we recognize as terrorists. They are coming over -- and oh, she added as a real kicker -- and you know what the best part of it is? We don't have to pay anything for the baby to be born.

Cooper wasn't having anything of it. He consistently interupted the Congressman, and did not allow him to finish his points.

Doug Cloud for Congress: Son makes appeal for Libertarian Republican support

[Doug Cloud] "He's more libertarian in his thoughts..." -- Jesse Young, Republican primary contender, WA CD-6

From Thomas Cloud:

My father, Doug Cloud, is running for U.S. Congress in Washington State’s 6th District. I am asking for your help in this endeavor.

There are a multitude of reasons you should consider supporting my father. He’s very knowledgeable, for one. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a J.D. in Law from the University of Washington where he studied under, perhaps the greatest economics instructor of the 20th century, Paul Heyne.

As a private attorney he has experience fighting corruption and has won cases before the 9th circuit court of appeals. He has always done so with integrity even at the expense of greater financial reward.

Perhaps the best reason for supporting my father is his courage, which he has demonstrated again and again over the years in taking positions because they were right rather than because they were popular. He will do this as your Congressman, whether that means auditing the Federal Reserve, questioning the Constitutionality of the Iraq War from its very beginning, or holding those in position in government responsible for outrageous spending.

Some have said that this makes my father un-Republican. I must disagree. My father is and always has been a Republican in the line of Barry Goldwater, Milton Friedman, and Ronald Reagan. My father has never and will never abandon the Constitution. He has always and will always choose the rule of law over expediency. My father supports our troops and veterans and many who work on his campaign staff are veterans themselves. He recognizes though that the Constitution calls for a declaration of war and that is something we should never ignore.

I ask you then to please support my father, Doug Cloud. He will help you and fight for you in Congress but he needs your help to get there. His opponent Norm Dicks is one of the most corrupt pork barrel politicians in the country and he will not go down lightly. Please give of your money and time and spread the word about my father.

Remember the admonition of Edmund Burke: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Tuesday’s Primary Elections: AntiWar Leftist Ned Lamont biggest loser, McMahon over Schiff in CT, Buck over Norton in CO, Handel fails barely in GA

Lamont now with a permament 'L' on his forehead

From Eric Dondero:

There were a number of very close races on Tuesday in GOP primaries.

However, the big story of the night, under-played by the liberal media, Ned Lamont lost in Connecticut. Lamont was the ultra-AntiWar Leftist who challenged Independent-Moderate Joe Lieberman for Senate in 2006. Lamont savaged President Bush, and fiercely criticized the War in Iraq. Despite having spent millions on attack ads against Lieberman, including ads saying he wanted to "privatize education," get rid of affirmative action, and supported the Bush Tax Cuts, Lamont was trounced in the general election by over 10%.

Now, Lamont, a Greenwich Billionaire, has gone down again, losing to moderate Dan Malloy in the Democrat primary for Governor. No doubt when the reports come in, they will show that he spent yet even more millions to lose this race as well. Lamont, the darling of the NetRoots, Moveon.org., DailyKos, and even some in the AntiWar wing of the libertarian movement, is now officially a two-time Loser.

The night's other big news on the Democrat side, incumbent Michael Benet eked out a victory in the Colorado Senate primary. Benet was appointed to fill the seat of Interior Sec. Ken Salazar.

Important Republican Primary results

Also in Connecticut, fiscally conservative, social moderate Linda McMahon easily won the Republican nomination for Senate with 49%. Libertarian favorite Peter Schiff polled 23%.

For Congress, a Tea Party favorite, fiscal conservative firebrand state Sen. Sam Caligiuri won the nomination for the 5th CD.

In Colorado, Tea Party-backed Ken Buck squeezed out a victory over hardnosed campaigner Jane Norton for the Republican nomination for Senate. A dissapointing result for Congress in southern Colorado: Libertarian-backed individualist Bob McConnell lost with 46% to standard conservative Scott Tipton. Though, McConnell and Tipton did not disagree much on issues. Their differences lay more with style and approach. McConnell had the backing of Colorado Tea Party groups. But on another front Tea Partyer Ryan Frazier, occasionally described in the media as a "libertarian," easily won his primary for Congress. Frazier's district is east of Denver.

Finally, in Georgia, Sarah Palin-backed Karen Handel lost in a squeeker to longtime Congressman Nathan Deale. The finaly numbers appear to be 51% to 49%. Though, absentees still need to be counted.

Ryan Frazier wins Republican nomination for Congress – Colorado

"Free Markets, Personal Responsibility, Limited Government"

Former Aurora Mayor and Tea Party member Ryan Frazier won the GOP nomination with 65% of the vote last night. Frazier's opponent Lang Sias called him immediately to concede and express his support.

Frazier's victory speech:

We can be better, if we elect Americans to Congress who will put forth solutions that don't require more government, but require less. Free markets, personal responsibility, limited government..."

Editor's comment - what's up with Ryan's kids? They seem completely uninterested and bored with their Dad's big victory.

Islam exposes Cowardice of the Left, and other P.C. Yellow Bellies

GUEST EDITORIAL

by T.L. Davis

Let a Christian minister remind his congregation that homosexuality is a sin and you will have the rainbow brigade on the steps of the church in two seconds flat, but if Islamists execute a homosexual, dead silence. Is it fear? Just outright cowardice that keeps these rainbow warriors from protesting Islam? Yep, out and out cowardice, why there might be a jihad against gays!

Let a redneck beat his wife and you know, it's just the way they are, the scumbags, the pieces of crap! They should be put in jail and refused access to weapons and kept away from their wife and children. And, I'm not saying that is wrong, it just baffles the heck out of me why it is perfectly acceptable (based on the utter deafening silence of NOW) for Muslim men to beat their wives with not only a chorus of crickets from the feminists, but support by them for Diversity!

It is the civility of Christianity that allows these abuses. Fairness, the willing to listen to different points of view, kindness, order, decency, these are all virtues of Christianity, not Islam. Do not expect understanding of your homosexuality, they will execute you. Don't castigate them for beating their wives, they will execute you. Perhaps this is why you do not raise an objection. Perhaps this is why you allow other homosexuals in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and other nations to suffer for your cowardice. Inspiring.

Sharia Law? Aw, you know, we ought to be more understanding, more culturally sophisticated and accept that not everyone is the same. Cowards!

What's worse is that all of the work done by these groups to achieve resolutions in our own society is lost when they willingly turn a blind eye to the coming wave of Islamic progressivism and I mean that in a sense of progressing across the globe, progressing into European legal codes, progressing as a culture that dominates and obliterates others.

No, your kindness and complicity will not be taken into account when the Muslim masters rule the globe. The only resistance to this wave has been from European and American institutions, institutions that now tremble at the arrival of Sharia Law. Your silence is akin to suicide for your cause. Your utter fear at criticizing Islam will be the last act of your organizations and your freedoms. And, for all of your demonization of the right, I think I will be too busy defending my own ideals to be of much help to you.
