John Hospers was professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Southern California. He was also the first Libertarian Party Presidential candidate in 1972. Geoffrey Sampson is professor emeritus in the School of Informatics at the University of Sussex and is currently a research fellow at the University of South Africa. His research includes work on linguistics, computer science, and philosophy. Nigel Ashford is senior program officer at the Institute for Humane Studies. He joined IHS from Staffordshire University where he was a professor of politics. I requested my interview be scheduled early, thinking once it was posted online, it would be accessible all day. It went down at approximately 0630, and probably was seen live online by a half-dozen people if I was lucky...and then it was not posted online until 19 November, 13 days after the election!
