A group of volunteers are setting sail from Hobart to clean up remote beaches in Tasmania's World Heritage Area, despite forecasts of heavy weather.
The team will travel to Tasmania's west coast which is one of the most remote coastlines in the world.
Some of the beaches are so remote that there is often no road access to the coastline.
But the remoteness does not protect the coastline from rubbish like plastic bottles and discarded fishing gear.
Matt Dell from Tasmanian Environmental Consultants will lead the crew of 30 who are travelling to the clean-up site in crayfishing and abalone boats.
"Having travelled round the world, it's one of the most remote and inaccessible coastlines I've ever seen," Mr Dell said.
"We go round on commercial fishing boats and we use the skills of local crayfisherman and abalone divers to drop us on the beach in zodiacs (inflatable dinghies) and we spent six to eight hours a day picking up rubbish and then [head] back to the boats and count it all."
This is the fifteenth year that volunteers are sailing to the west coast of Tasmania to clean up the island's most remote beaches.
It is the fourth year in a row that Andrew Harbinson has volunteered to go and pick up rubbish in the place he calls the Wild West.
"It's very wild and rugged, lots of mountains and rivers and a variety of different sorts of bush and scrub down there," he said.

Beaches on the NSW north coast have been closed for the third day in a row after a fatal attack by a great white shark on Monday and subsequent shark sightings close to swimming spots.
Aerial patrols spotted two sharks late on Wednesday afternoon - a four-metre shark near Flat Rock and a three-metre shark near Ballina Bar.
All beaches between South Ballina and Lennox Head remain closed and their safety reassessed on Thursday.

California, you've been robbed. That's my biased opinion of TripAdvisor travelers' ranking of the top 10 beaches in the U.S. announced Tuesday that selected only one in California.
Six of the 10 are in Florida, including top-ranked Siesta Beach in Sarasota and three are inHawaii. California's only entry: La Jolla Cove in La Jolla, placing No. 6.
In 2014, Hawaii claimed seven of TripAdvisor's top beach spots, including No. 1 ranked Lanikai Beach on Oahu. California beaches didn't appear on the 2014 list.
Worldwide, the beach on Sancho Bay (or Baia do Sancho) on the island of Fernando de Noronha, Brazil, lays claim for the second year in a row as TripAdvisor's best beach in the world.

The Northern Beaches market is set for a much-needed boost over the next few years as construction of the controversial new hospital at Frenchs Forest gets underway, bringing with it extra infrastructure and spin-off medical businesses.
Angus Raine, executive chairman and chief executive of Raine & Horne, says prices in suburbs such as Forestville, Frenchs Forest and Davidson have risen by 10 per cent since preliminary work started on the hospital last year. "With lower interest rates, we see no reason why this level of growth won't continue in 2015," Raine says.
The 488-bed Northern Beaches Hospital is scheduled to open in 2018.

Raine predicts Forestville, Frenchs Forest, Davidson and nearby Killarney Heights could produce price growth of 10 per cent or more in 2015.
"This is especially the case with the state government confirming it is going ahead with a road underpass, a road widening on Warringah Road and other upgrades in support of the hospital," Raine says.
Sam Pfafflin from Raine & Horne Forestville/Frenchs Forest says properties near the hospital will be highly sought-after by specialists, GPs and other medical businesses.
The northern beaches was one of the underperformers of the Sydney property market last year, says Dr Andrew Wilson, the chief economist for the Domain Group. "Even though [the Northern Beaches] did record a quite healthy prices growth it wasn't at the same level as the budget areas or the mid-price range areas," says Wilson.

Travellers' Choice award-winning beaches were determined based on the quantity and quality of traveller reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor gathered over a 12-month period.
"Thailand's southern beaches are world-renowned with many tourists from around the world visiting every year. We are delighted that they have been recognised by TripAdvisor as one of the best beaches in Asia. We hope to continue welcoming more visitors to our beautiful Thai beaches," said Pichaya Saisaengchan, director for Domestic Public Relations Division for Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
Also on Asias top 10 list under the 2015 Travellers Choice awards for Beaches are Railey Beach in Krabi (7), Kata beach in Phuket (8) and Phra Nang beach (9), according to a release by the travel web site.

Baie de St-Jean feels like the Caribbean version of the French Riviera: pristine sand, aquamarine waters, glam boutiques, gourmet restaurants and swanky hotels likeEden Rock. Despite its sandas fine and as white as powderand its blue waters, Boracay remains a vastly overlooked island destination in Asia. Added bonus: Its northern end is party central. Though Chaweng Beach Road has plenty to offer in the way of food and beverage, try dining on the beach itselfafter sunset, many restaurants set up tables and serve fresh seafood at competitive prices. The Newcastle-based club walked away with $8000 in prizemoney after coming from behind to beat Avondale in the final.
Convener and Red Devils co-coach Tim Walsh said the day was another huge success, despite Central North sides missing out,
Yeah it was a great day, Walsh said.
All the clubs said the same and we will look to improve it again for next year.
When Engadine pulled out late on Friday the pool was reduced to 15 sides, which were split into four pools with only the top side from each pool going through.
Gunnedah entered two sides that joined fellow Central North clubs Pirates, Moree, Narrabri, Inverell and Tamworth in the competition, although Walsh said early-season form was hard to read.

Travellers have voted British beaches among the best in Europe.
Woolacombe beach in Devon came fourth in a list of top European beaches compiled from travellers' reviews by TripAdvisor.
Weymouth beach in Dorset was in eighth place and three other UK beaches were in the European top 20.
Rhossili beach in Swansea was in 11th place, St Brelade's Bay beach in Jersey was 14th and Porthminster beach at St Ives in Cornwall was 18th.
The five UK beaches in the European top 20 also took the first five places in the top UK beach list, while Woolacombe was 13th in the world's top beach table.
TripAdvisor described Woolacombe beach as a three-mile (4.8km) long stretch of golden sand and rolling, unbroken surf, ideal for surfers and backed by sandy hills.
TripAdvisor spokesman James Kay said: ''The presence of two UK beaches in Europe's top 10 is further proof of what a fantastic tourist draw the UK's coastline really is.''
Europe's top beach was Rabbit beach at Lampedusa in Italy, with Playa de Ses Illetes in Formentera in the Spanish Balearic Islands in second place and Elafonissi beach in Greece third.
Top beach in the world was Baia do Sancho in Brazil's Fernando de Noronha island chain. Second was Grace Bay in the Turks and Caicos island of Providenciales in the Caribbean, while Rabbit beach at Lampedusa was third.

But if you can't stand another day of toe-numbing temperatures, start thinking about an escape to one of TripAdvisor's picks for the world's best beaches.
The travel site announced 332 winners of its annual Travelers' Choice awards for beaches Wednesday.
The awards are based on the quantity and quality of traveler reviews for beaches gathered over 12 months. In addition to a global winners list, top beaches are listed by regions and countries, including lists for Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The world's best beach? That would be Baia do Sancho on the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha. For the second year in a row, the golden crescent hugged by rocky cliffs has earned the No. 1 spot on the global list.
Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, has also retained its ranking as the No. 2 Travelers' Choice beach in the world.
