Thelatest form of an experimental cut-up/ #39;magick #39; work/art project that I started way back in 2005. The initial edit was done with two VCRs and a crappy dvd player. I then transferred it to computer and am doing additional editing and remixing using software. The titles of the clips were given after all the editing and mixing were done. Most of the content is very random and chaotic. I wanted it to have that element of chance involved in its creation because that #39;s when the #39;magic #39; happens. It #39;s inspired by William Burroughs #39; style of cut-up writing (Naked Lunch) which David Bowie later incorporated into his lyric-writing. Not many know that Burroughs was into occult magick and Bowie also dabbled. Burroughs #39; apprentice in magick was Genesis P. Orridge of Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, the grandfather of industrial music. In a way, this is also supposed to be a form of industrial video rather than industrial music ( I #39;m talking about the original, dirty, raw, sample-based experimentation).
