We arrived in Vientiane sleepy and got a jumbo like a big tuk tuk acting as a local bus in cities to the central square of Vientiane at about 6am or so....and it was asleep We soon got the feeling Vientiane was going to be very relaxing A wander around hotels and we finally found one which had rooms and was suitably nice treating ourselves to a far more expensive room than we are used to
