We made it to the coast today....approximately 2800 mi from home. We're not even halfway though our trip Started out at 8 am today. Ate free breakfast at the motel. I thought we would run into some traffic around Oakland and Berkley but I580 was smooth sailing. We exited the freeway to CA1 Shoreline drive around 12pm. Saw the beginnings of some of the redwoods but won't really see the b
